We purchased a Land Rover in May 2023. After having the car for only 4 months and after putting a small 3000miles on the clock the car broke down. It has a very expensive fault that would cost £1000s to repair. Not only are highlanders impossible to talk to over the phone, they are unhelpful and rude. After purchasing a £14,000 car 4 months ago, we are shocked to find that highlanders don’t care and will not fix the faulty vehicle that they sold us! Please please do not shop here unless you want to be sold a faulty vehicle and to be left with a huge bill to fix. We are a young family and it has changed our lives for the worst. We’ve lost so much money. Thanks, highlanders.

Don’t trust anybody on this company its very bad company this company totally fraud with customer deposits non refundable its use 2 names on this company highlandersgbcarsltd & which account you put money or tranfer for deposit is this separate fraud company don’t trust on dealers very very very bad guys i test drive range rover i told guy please on AC HE said no fuel in the car only 500 yrds test drive than he said tirn around please be aware this company

Spoke to someone called Adrian, absolutely no manners, very abrupt with no customer skills at all il take my business elsewhere
Enquired about a car(Citroen grand c4) and they asked for a £300 holding fee which we paid in good faith. Took them over a week to have the car ready before we could even go and view it where they were apparently MOTing and serving it. Finally had a call to collect and they promised the fee would be returned. Got the car home and surprise surprise multiple warning lights started flashing on the car, very difficult to get back threw to them and they didn’t care, finally just said we have to pay for a diagnostics. Over 10 days later still no return of holding fee and a useless woman on the phone who just kept repeating 3 working days.

Bought a car on Monday and they promised to deliver on Wed of same week. It's now Friday, and there is neither commitment nor explanation to the delay. In fact, they sound very annoyed when I call to follow up and they only say we will call you when the car is ready. Highly unprofessional and not apologetic about it. Deal with them at your own risk.

Bought a rangerover for £7990 got a loan out for it it had a oil leak very bad diesel leak battery went flat if you didn’t start every day light coming on and off on dash the list goes on when I spoke to them they just lied took me over a month to got some off my money back had to give them £260 to take it back.over £1000 pound out of pocket for driving 100 miles in 13 days.please be careful if buying from them

Bought a range rover from here just over a month ago, was promised that the arm rest would be repaired on collection and would be fully MOTd and Serviced. On collection, the salesman told me that everything had been done and we were ready to go, I checked the arm rest and it had not been touched, still visibly broken. I said that i wanted some money knocked off as we agreed the price based on it being repaired - he refused. It was only when i said that this is a deal breaker for me and i'll just get a refund and go elsewhere that he was magically able to knock some money off - £50!? We reluctantly accepted and left with the car. Within 20 minutes of our 1 hour drive home, we started to hear a scraping and crunching noise from the back passenger wheel. We immediately informed Highlanders and were told to bring it back the 1hr journey to get it looked at - i explained this was extremely inconvenient for us to travel so far again - plus, we didnt know if it was safe to drive. They said to take it to a local garage instead but not to pay anything to get it fixed as they might not cover the cost. After an inspection by the local garage, and £160 later, we found that not only was the rear brake system absolutely chewed up from from a piece of metal that was left inside the brake system, but the left exhaust pipe was completely snapped and separated from the block it should have been connected to. He informed us that this should have been picked up during the MOT and/or service as the exhaust was actually hanging down about 3 inch lower than the opposite side, and also that the stray metal in the brake system was most likely caused by the person at their garage who replaced the brakes. I asked for a quote to fix everything which came to around £900 including labour. I informed highlanders, and after several back forth messages, they gave me the option to drive the car back to them so their garage could repair it 'cheaper', (bare in mind this is a 1hr drive in a vehicle that is unsafe to drive) or they would give me £300 towards the costs (plus the £50 for the arm rest which still hadn't been sent to me even though I'd requested this twice already). After a number of weeks going back and forth with this and not being able to have proper use of the vehicle, I'd had enough and needed to get it repaired, so accepted the pitiful offer they proposed. I would NEVER buy from this place again and would advice that anyone who finds a well priced vehicle from them, LOOK ELSEWHERE as the repair costs you are likely to incur from poor workmanship and pure negligence will likely amount to what you would have paid from a more reputable garage anyway. It's a real shame to have to write this review, as I almost never leave bad reviews, I tend to just move on and take the lesson, but this company really took the biscuit, and with cars being a high value purchase, it felt the right thing to do to prevent other people being suckered and screwed in the future. I will also be reporting the company AND the MOT garage they used to trading standards as the service and risk that they put me and my partner in with this vehicle is unacceptable.

I brought a car from HighlanderGb in April 2022 for my son. The car started lossing power on the motorway back home. Made a complaint HighlanderGB to get the car fixed or give back a full refund. It is October 2022 my sonis still without a car and having to pay to travel back and forth from work We are still paying road tax, motot insurance and the car is with HighlandeGb. They keep making excuses about the repairs and refusing to give a refund. Got the car checked myself by an independent garage who adviced it was not safe to drive and should not have been sold in this condition. I have had 2 days worth of driving the car before I had to send it back. Please avoid this garage. Tried complaining lots of times by email and phone. Each time no reply completely ignored. Still waiting for a reponse, don;t think i will get it.
