We bought a 7k car from them in oct 17. For the next 5-6 months they had it more than we did. Problem.after problem and like you, they blamed us. After 13 days of having the car in our possession the cars engine management light came on and went into limp mode. we had to get the car back to them who were over an hour and a half away... for them to keep it for nearly 5 weeks without any sort or communication from them. My husband had to keep contacting them.... and they never knew what was going on or when it would be ready. We were left without a car and i was heavily pregnant at the time. They'd apparently sent it off to a specialist and the problem (in their words) was rectified. My husband collected out car... 45 mins into the journey home the light came on again with the same warning light. We asked for a refund on the car but was told they couldnt... we sent the car back and again... the problem was "rectified". 2 more times the light came on and went back to them. We seeked legal advise and were told that we were entitled to a refund. They refused this as we had put 2000 miles on the clock....... from driving it back and forward to them to be repaired... and for them driving it back and forward to the "specialist" and we were at out wits end with them and i had just given birth whilst they had our car so was left without it again. They blamed the fault on poor fuel.... we fueled up at the garage opposite their sales garage. DO NOT TRUST OR BUY FROM THIS GARAGE

Bought a lovely BMW 118 M sport from Highline Cars . Very happy with the service i received. Highly recommended.
By Alan J. Hi All, this is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with! First of all the salesmen cannot even get their LIES straight and the garage they send their cars to are both inadequate and inept. I am hoping that you pay attention to this post as I feel THAT strongly that you will find the same. I had problem, after problem, after problem with a car which we purchased from them, and after all the ludicrous attempts they had to fix it, they still insisted it was owner error!. If anyone reads and pays attention to any posts on this site I implore you please pay attention to this. DO NOT TRUST these guys, everyone who works there passes the buck and not one of them will deal with any problem you have with any purpose, they just send it to a garage that I have previously mentioned as inadequate. They then regurgitate technical things they have no idea about in the hope you don't either.

I completely agree. We bought a 7k car from them in oct 17. For the next 5-6 months they had it more than we did. Problem.after problem and like you, they blamed us abd tried talking technical crap to us. After 13 days of having the car in our posession the cars engine management light came on and went into limp mode. we had to get the car back to them who were over an hour and a half away... for them to keep it for nearly 5 weeks without any sort or communication from them. Stay away from Highline Cars. We bought a car from this place and the owner failed to tell us about the odometer change which was changed when in possession of the previous owner, we only found out when we noticed the odometer mileage was different to the actual mileage. There were other things wrong with it, a broken bumper, broken cup holder, broken boot shelf lug, condensation in rear lights, and missing floor mat clip. He failed to fix the issues for free and wanted money to fix them. It cost us over 250 pounds have these issues fixed, we've lost out. He will lie to get out of it and use a company called Lawgistics to help him get away with it.

Yup, garages use that law firm to help them escape their responsibilities. LawGistics helped a car dealer that sold us a death trap of a car with a dodgy MOT (I can prove it was a fake MOT). My advice to anyone going to buy a car from a dealer is to check the car's MOT history through the government website - it's free to check as many registrations as you like - and then ask if they use LawGistics for their law firm. If they say they do then simply walk away, don't buy from ANY car dealer that uses LawGistics

Thank you for your review. The car was advertised and sold with the correct milage clearly stated , also full documentation of the speedometer change carried out by the main dealer was inspected by yourself prior to purchase. We offered on several occasions to rectify the minor points you mention in your complaint at you convenience.
