When I bought my Volkswagen Touareg, I was really impressed with the service I recovered and how much the dealer knew about the car. I was dealing with the sales manger and he was fantastic. When I took the car away it was in lovely condition and up to now I have had no serious issues with it. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone.

Paid 6k for volvo v50 from Highway Garage NW. When i went to pick it up it was sat outside with engine running they said carpets had just been shampooed so heater was on to finish drying. Gave me 3 month warranty and as i live 130 miles away they will pay a local garage to fix any problems. MOT not available but will post it. Next morning almost killed the battery trying to start it but was ok after that. Next morning and every morning since it is the same thing. First time it rained water pouring through the sunroof switch panel and first time i used aircon PINTS of water pouring out of duct under drivers seat. Made about a hundred phone calls but they would not let me take it to a local garage. Eventually the warranty ran out they offered me £80 because they said that is what it would cost them to sort. They stopped answering my calls after that and still no MOT cert It cost me £65 to fix sunroof leak and garage say it will be around £550 to sort other things which is money i dont have right now.
The Car was not in good shape it had an oil leak and other issues with it. They were eventually fixed but I had to wait a bit for the repairs. Despite those issues the car was quite good value for money but I can't say I would recommend Highway Garage

I paid a deposit for a car almost 2 weeks ago, arranged to collect this on the Saturday. I was travelling from Glasgow to collect this car and the dealer knew this. Got a call that morning to say the car didn't pass its MOT! I had already purchased insurance and was on my way to Macclesfield. Arranged to pick up on the Wednesday, thank goodness I hadn't set off, called dealer at 0930 to discover car wouldn't start. They offered to refund my deposit, well that was over a week ago and I still don't have it in my account. Dan the car sales man was rude when I called and asked about this and also re-imbursment for insurance I have paid for. I WOULDN'T TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE! TERRIBLE SERVICE AND NOT VERY WILLING TO PAY ME MAY MONEY THAT I AM DUE
Highway garage did their jobs well, they left me to my own devices and didn't try to push anything on me. I'm a mechanic myself so I checked the car out after the sale, apart from the tyres being on their way out its a good motor.

I wasn't happy with the after sales service at all. The air con wasn't working and I presumed it just needed regassing, turns out it was a broken pipe and when I contacted the dealer they told me it wasn't covered. They offered to go halves with me on a 'gold' warranty which would cover it, turns out the gold warranty didn't cover it and I had to pay out for the repairs myself as well as a useless warranty which they sold me under false pretenses. This was all after having the car for a week.

I was made to feel comfortable immediately and the whole process was brilliant. We agreed on a good part ex price for my car and as a young blonde girl he didnt try to rip me off or condescend to me which is a rarity! Would recommend to anyone
