We bought a car from this garage, from their salesman Scott, smiley and happy to help until he got the money! He told us the warranty he supplied would cover the timing belt, however after I got home I called the warranty company and they told me it wasn't covered. Contacted the company immediately to get the issue resolved as I had been miss sold. After weeks of chasing them and a final face to face with the salesman Scott was told company was doing nothing about it and that he never told me the timing belt was covered!! The reason I toke the warranty was for peace of mind on the t/belt. Wrote to director and got no response, this company isn't interested in you once they have done the deal and got your money. Avoid this company at all costs!

Please think very carefully before buying from this motor company, I purchased a car earlier this year and it has given me problem after problem, now it's just failed its mot and its at least a quarter of the the cost of the car to put right. Full service history advertised but misplaced on collection, never sorted. Remote keys not working, Under body full of rust (everywhere) later found out car had been resprayed (badly) advertised with parking sensors, they are there but not working. No book packs (lost). I was just totally ripped, don't let this happen to you. Read the reviews, especially the bad ones! A VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER of Hillington Motor Company.

AVOID Bought Astra Sri GTC 6 weeks ago from Scott. It had a questionable MOT, took it to my MOT station 2 hours after got car told me should never of passed it as broken springs, tyres uneven, headlight cracked, exhaust flex pipe burst, faulty front shocks, rust brake lines. Gave me 2 car keys one which isn’t working and other was playing up now the car won’t start. Got Vauxhall technician, there was 2 guys out to check problem it is the cim module was changed recent and not done properly and can’t fix as different security code from ECU now need to buy new cim module. Phoned company and there words not his problem! Now getting trading standards and vosa involved with my issue with Hillington Motor Company.

My sister recently put a review on here about Hillington Motor Company after I bought a car, the review done by my sister although accurate at the time is now false, the issues I have raised with the garage have been dealt with and I am happy that I have been treated fairly, the previous review is in regards to a 13000 pound car, all my issues have been sorted and I'm looking forward to getting my car tomorrow or Wednesday.

The easiest thing to put on here for my review of Hillington Motor Company in Glasgow is that I hope people read it. "DO NOT GO NEAR THIS CAR DEALER, THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL, UNHELPFUL, ARROGANT AND THINK THEY ARE UNTOUCHABLE TO THE CAR TRADE. I SPENT £13,000 AND THEY DAMAGED ALL OF THE GLASS ON THE CAR WHICH I SUSPECT WAS INTENTIONALLY. I BOUGHT BECAUSE I DISPUTED HAVING TO BUY ROAD TAX AS IT WAS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE CAR. IF I NEEDED A CAR AND THIS GARAGE WAS THE ONLY GARAGE ON EARTH, ID WALK BARE FOOTED OVER HOT COALS BEFORE I GAVE THEM ANOTHER PENNY". I DEALT WITH SCOTT. MY ADVICE IS DONT BUY A CAR.

Shocking service from start to finish, took 3 weeks for the car to be available to view because it was at the dealers for a supposed injector fault. Turns out they had a new ECU fitted to sure a problem that they didn't fix properly, customer service was shocking as they falsely advertised a 1 owner car when it had actually had 3 owners and little service history. Avoid Hillington Motor Company in Glasgow at all costs.

Bought a cooper s from Scott at this dealership. Asked about the tyres and if they were run flats, were told that they were as they put them on themselves. Turns out they were £38 budget tyres. Chip on windscreen, scuffed alloys and a deep scrape on wing mirror reverse were some of the issues. In the last year I have spent around £1500 on repairs to the already inflated price of the car. Poor service all round. Would never use this place again.
