I purchased a “Quality used Car” from Hilton Car Supermarket on 26th Oct 2019 safe in the knowledge that they are an RAC Approved Dealer and the car would have had an 82 point preparation, an RAC warranty and would be reliable with a new MOT. The car was an Audi A4 and cost me £11000 so not a cheap run around. I test drove the car as far as I could in the local area and it seemed fine. On the drive home the passenger side visor fell off completely hitting my daughter –not just out of the bracket but including the mounting in the roof liner, it had been glued in. The grab handle on the rear R/H passenger side had also been glued in. Then it started to rain so I switched on the windscreen wipers which failed to operate in any mode but fast wipe setting. By this stage I was on the M3 heading west and Hilton Car Supermarket was closed! I noticed vibration coming through the floor pan on the motorway at higher speeds and sometimes the automatic gearbox was a bit ‘clicky’. On the Monday morning I called Hilton Car Supermarket regarding my concerns and was advised to take the car to a local garage and get a price for repairs as I live 60 miles from the London branch. I did as requested and my local garage checked the car over finding multiple faults including electrical wiring that should not have been fitted. The car also did not have a spare wheel or any jacking equipment (nor were the tyres ‘run flats’ [the car was given a new, albeit illegal, MOT on purchase]). They took a sample of the transmission oil and concluded it was not the correct spec. I informed Hilton Car Supermarket of the cost for all the work and they agreed to pay rather than refund me and return my traded in A4. They got me a visor and spare wheel from ebay and I ordered a rain sensor, got the car booked in for a gearbox oil change and thought we had a deal. As of today 11-Feb-2020 I am still waiting for reimbursement for all the work carried out: Gearbox oil change Rain sensor supply and fit All four wheels tracked and balanced (my local garage found no weights fitted to any wheel hence the vibration) Sun visor fit Passenger handle fit Removal of non standard wiring. Unfortunately the list goes on: The brakes started to bind in January – the front discs worn below limits, one caliper seized and all 4 pads below safe limits (new MOT 26 Oct 2019 remember!) I need to put the air on recirculate when sat in traffic as the catalyst is now leaking into the cabin (new MOT 26 Oct 2019) I cannot use the car radio if the rear screen heat is on The dashboard lights go on and off and flash on their own accord. Since buying this car I have spent £1300 on servicing and repairs!

Been a few times to look so new all the process, from the moment I found the car I liked it was very straight forward, test drive, ask any questions, sort paperwork, pick up car, all went very well, staff were friendly and I would definitely recommend, I would have took half a star off if I could, only because everytime I've been I've got no change and can't therefore use vending machine, and they don't supply refreshments,

Plenty of choice, we weren't sure what car we wanted but were able to look around without hassle from sales people. When we decided on a car atest drive was arranged within 10 minutes. Next time we swop the car this will be the first place we visit.

I have nothing but praise for Hilton Car Supermarket Cars. First impressions of are of a clean, bright and professional showroom, full of quality cars. When I came to look at the car I saw on Autotrader, I was told by Syed to feel free to go and look at the car, to take my time and have a good look inside / get a feel for the car. Kamran was both informative and friendly and was happy to answer any questions. I am very happy with the car I purchased, and would most definitely go back when it is time to replace, but in the meantime will recommend Hilton Car Supermarket cars to anyone.

I would high recommend Hilton Car Supermarket warm and friendly service amazing cars all clean to a high standard nothing was to much trouble for Syeed the car I bought was immaculate had a little trouble with handbrake rung Ian and was sorted pretty much straight away will go back again when I need a new car thank you for a amazing service guys.

Whilst test driving and buying the car was relatively smooth the trouble started soon after. Within 20 miles it became apparent that the car had significant issues. Numerous warning lights displayed, car in limp mode and gearbox not engaging. Less than a week after the purchase I gave the car back and requested a refund. Through correspondence during the following days it came to light that the car had had significant work to the gearbox carried out by Hilton. They had not disclosed any of this with the cars service history. Since I left the car with them I have had no update on when I will receive a refund despite serving a written rejection ten days ago. So three weeks since I purchased the car I have no car, no refund and no clue when this will be addressed. It looks likely that I will start court proceedings against Hilton Car Supermarket next week to get my refund.
