These people have had very poor training in sales. Bought a car, went to collect it after seeing it. Promised the body work would be sorted and it wasn't. It had front end damage since I purchased it. No work done on it. Was not given my deposit back. Manager is a useless moron. Have gone to trading standards. AVOID THIS PLACE COMPLETELY.
Sold my car to them through motorway. Was greeted with hostility from the people coming to pick the car up, initially trying to knock over a thousand pounds off the agreed price. Was haggling for an hour to get back to the original selling price, awful company don’t bother with them.
Bought a car from here yesterday, massive dent on the inside of the drivers door brought up to the lassie that was dealing with us due to the original lassie that was meant to have an appointment with not showing up . To the dent inside the door getting Told that it can be fix without a new door took it to a bodywork’s place when drove 10hrs to be told that it can’t be fixed and it’s a new door got £250 off the car to get new door and everything else would cost £2,000 would avoid this absolute garage at all cost - the young lassie that ended up dealing with us was lovely woman didn’t get her name tho

Avoid Hilton Car Supermarket -terrible customer service! I paid in full for a Mercedes, was told I could collect it on Thursday, then at the last minute, they delayed it for a week with no confirmed date. I had already insured the car, sold my old one, and taken time off work. After multiple calls for days on end, I found out the car had a cracked alloy-something they should have checked before selling it! No real solutions, just delays and excuses. Completely unprofessional and a waste of my time, Ben the so called sales guy took to just ignoring calls and i had to call persistently on the land line to get a response, the response was they did not know when the car would be ready. Would not recommend to my worst enemy as even robert the apparent head of sales simply fobbed me off with well there's nothing we can do, we're waiting for a wheel. worst company ever.

I bought my car on January 13th and within 2 days of taking it home is was apparent that there was something wrong with the vehicle. The drive shaft bearings had failed and the noise was extreme and the risk was further damage to the drive shaft. I returned the car to the garage for repair and from that point the relationship with the garage has deteriorated. I asked for the purported "aftercare manager" to contact me to discuss the issue with the car, to inform me of the timescales related to the repair and discuss what support they could provide me as I was now without a car because the one they had sold to me was not useable. I have never received any contact from a manager of the garage, received no help, they have not answered any complaints and have refused to take phone calls. Hilton Garage used to have an amazing reputation, unfortunately that is no longer the case.
Hilton Garage Review: Avoid at All Costs! I want to warn everyone who is planning to buy a car from Hilton Garage, whether paying in full or through financing. My experience has been a complete nightmare, and after everything I've been through, I cannot recommend this place to anyone. In 2024, I purchased a 2019 Audi A6 diesel through financing. At first, everything seemed fine, but problems arose quickly. Just two months after purchase, two warning lights came on the dashboard. In addition, the air conditioning didn’t work, the seat heating was faulty, and the driver’s side door wouldn’t close properly. I made a list of all these issues and contacted Hilton Garage to report them, hoping for a resolution under warranty. What followed was a series of frustrating events that proved their complete lack of professionalism and respect for customers. 1. Lost appointment and absurd delays I called to book an appointment, but when I arrived at the service, I wasn’t on any list! After lengthy discussions and showing clear proof of my appointment confirmation, they finally agreed to take the car but couldn’t provide a clear timeframe for the repairs. It took them two weeks to get back to me, confirming the issues I had reported, including a faulty ABS pump. Their solution? To try and repair it. After another two weeks, they informed me they couldn’t fix the pump and needed to order a new one. It took over a month for the part to arrive, and when they installed it, it didn’t work either. 2. Lack of communication and professionalism They promised to send the car to the Audi dealership in Derby on January 9, 2025. I personally checked and found out the car hadn’t even left on that day. Once it finally reached Audi, it sat in their parking lot for a week without being inspected! I went to the dealership myself, but they told me they couldn’t provide any information because Hilton Garage brought the car in. I called Hilton Garage again, only to be lied to, treated with indifference, and given vague responses. 3. Continuous delays and lies Today, January 22, 2025, more than two months since I handed over the car, I still don’t have a clear answer about the repair status. Their latest excuse? They’ve ordered another ABS pump from another country but don’t know when it will arrive. In short, I’ve been without my car for months while still paying the bank for something I can’t use. Conclusion: Avoid Hilton Garage! They lack professionalism, respect, and proper problem management. If you value your time, money, and mental health, find another car dealer. If I could, I’d give them 0 stars and shut their garage down to prevent others from having the same horrible experience. Not recommended! Warn your friends, family, and everyone you know to stay away from this place!

Brought my 69 plate Range Rover Evoque from here back in April. The day I was supposed to pick the car up I was called and told that they’d just realised the EGR needed changing as it had failed. So when I did actually collect the car, Within 2 days I contacted my sales person and advised that I had a strong burning smell coming from the engine and the engine management light was on, aswell as the car going in and out of limp mode, and I was told they had passed it onto the service team and they’d be in contact when they weren’t busy, Still to this day I haven’t received that phone call. I was told the car had been freshly serviced and MOT’d, I’ve since learned that was a lie, as my independent garage showed me the oil they drained out of my car and it was like black sludge, and the filters were totally clogged, this car hadn’t been serviced for a long long time. I have since spent over £1300 out of my pocket and had the car off the road and in my independent garage 5 times because the engine management light & limp mode reoccurring, to be told that upon plugging the car in, they can see the EGR Valve was faulty but the codes were switched off and ignored so now the entire DPF System has failed and I’m looking at well over £1,000 for this. & once again I can’t get a reply out of anybody. I have taken the car now to a garage where they have a Range Rover technician and ingenium engine expert, who has told me the issue is deeper lying and there’s no way Hilton didn’t know about these issues when they took the car in and checked it over, oh, and the car cannot be driven The car is not fit for purpose, I am now onto the finance company and have filed an official complaint and submitted all my evidence that I have regarding the codes being switched off and ignored, and the fact the car was sold faulty, along with all the emails I’ve sent that have been ignored. I have young children, a full time job and totally rely on this car to get my children to school and myself to work, and I now cannot drive it. I want my money back!

i would give 0 stars however that isn’t an option so i have had to give a 1. Staff wasn’t helpful at all. I asked them to get the vehicle ready for myself i had a 3 round trip to collect the vehicle. On collection I was told it would be half an hour to check over my vehicle, an hour and a half later I was seen to. Then i found that there was body damage to the vehicle and i got fobbed off and was told basically because it is a used vehicle it’s down to me to sort. Now having to pay £168. And £240 for a new windscreen. Not acceptable if you ask me. Specially on the website pictures the damage wasn’t shown. Also put on the invoice they get me my reservation fee back and haven’t done so. Hard to contact and swapped over salesmen because they are going out drinking with their mates. Not a friendly welcoming at all. Working in the motor trade industry I would never treat a customer the way I was handled. Furthermore, the windscreen has been left with scratches from the wipers and I’m more than likely going to be told they aren’t going to do anything about it. Told me to go into the carpark to move my new vehicle to sort my insurance out. Didn’t even give me the option to sit in the waiting room where it was warm. Never did they show me how the vehicle worked. I had people flashing at me because my rear lights were off going down the motorway. I had to go into the services and get someone to help me. Also left me with no extended warranty on the vehicle. Feel like now they have my money they aren’t bothered. Still waiting for my £349 to be returned and to receive my new V5 to get this sorted is a nightmare. Just being ignored and false promises when I should receive it.
