This is my honest experience of Holmfirth cars on Wed 7th Feb 2018 was careless & unprofessional. I Travelled 200 miles to see a car that only had 8500 miles on the clock. I enquired as to the condition of the bodywork to avoid a wasted journey & the dealer told me the car was like a brand new car, unfortunately found that the car had lots of surface scratches & several more severe marks & scratches on the bumpers. The spec was not as advertised on Autotrader of on their website, no air conditioning, no front armrests & no HPI check available to view all clearly advertised on the listing. Dealer tried to tell me that they are not responsible for the details on the listing as Autotrader generates the details from the Reg number. I'm sorry but I expect car dealers to make sure that the details of the product their selling is correct. To be totally honest the dealer didn't really seem to have much knowledge about the car he was selling. Wasted a whole day & £270 in train fares. I made a complaint in writing to the dealer the next day & suggested that he might perhaps like to make a small contribution to our train fair home for wasting our time as a good will gesture but received an abusive reply instead. Dealer then makes up lies in response to genuine feedback.
