House of Cars does not reply to emails....Maybe because there's a paperwork trail. He has a knackered porsch boxster on ebay..been forsale all summer and hasn't sold....mmm.

Created duplicate service history and also added cam belt change into it where none of it had actually happened. He persuaded me to buy the car with all these gimmicks and later I realized the bunch of lies when I gave the car for servicing!!!

I bought a Ford Fiesta from House of Cars in February 2017 and apart from it having no fuel in the tank and the engine light showing because of this I've had no problems with the car itself. They however promised to send me the 10 years service and MOT history through by email, which they never did. I've now sold the car and have been trying to contact them to get these documents but the one number I had is dead. I contacted a garage adjacent to HOC to ask if they did the MOT but they didn't and said they would never do any work for them. Cattery on the farm where HOC rent their lot couldn't provide any contact information either but suggested I visit the lot at the weekend as there usually seems to be someone there. However, having read the reviews about HOC on this site, I don't feel I want to if the owner/trader is aggressive and threatening people. I wouldn't recommend this trader to anyone because of this.

I'd seen the reviews for this place but the postcode indicated that 'House of Cars' was further along the road. So we decided ti go along. When we eventually found it by the cattery described by a previous reviewer it was clearly the same people under yet another name........why would a business keep changing its name? Very shifty from the start. More damage to car than stated Felt ike they were doing US a favour. Paperwork was at their 'office in Slough' that was unmanned at that time...... When asked for proof of MOT and service they simply showed evidence from last year and the ad on Auto trader staying that they had this promising that paperwork would be forwarded. We have decided to look elsewhere! Why can't I submit without stars?

Terrible. Please avoid. We bought a car on the 20th Feb 2017 from the address at Glade House, Tidmarsh Lane, Reading RG8 8HG, on the agreement that the service history paperwork would be emailed through. After 3 weeks of calling, emailing (probably a fake address) and excuses, there is still no paperwork. After several calls he got aggressive and threatened the use of his dog if I came to see him. I've contacted the Police about this and they have given me a URN number. I've also contacted Trading Standards, Citizens Advice, and Autotrader customer services, and I have been given the advice that I can return the vehicle within 30 days. However, when I called him about this, he said 'I will write it in blood now that you will not get your money back'. This is recorded. The guy is an aggressive fraud. Avoid. The office address is Litton House, Saville Rd, Peterborough, PE3 7PR, where dozens of other businesses are registered.

House of Cars has changed name various times , my car had hidden faults and the warranty was worthless, avoid House of Cars at all costs !!!
