This company took advantage of my dying 86 year old grandfather with cancer! He bought a Jaguar xj8 K4 FRJ earlier this year for roughly 10k. His cancer rapidly declined a month or so ago so he decided to sell it back to Howard smee, he didn't go far in it or put many miles on it and they gave him £5000 for it and I have recently seen it's been listed for sale at £9995! Con artist at the best taking advantage of the elderly absolutely disgusting

After 1,000 miles of ownership, enough of a road test to find any niggles or major issues, here is my review of Howard Smee Cars. I searched long and hard to find a car dealer who inspired some degree of trust, and had several bad experiences. When I arrived at Howard Smee down a narrow track in the middle of nowhere the gated compound was a bit intimidating, don't be put off. Inside the guys were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and allowed me as much time as I wanted to view, test and drive the car I was interested in, and check all the documentation immediately. Any queries I had were dealt with professionally and honestly. After taking delivery of my vehicle is has been... faultless, and every promise made has been fulfilled without any further prompting, making the buying process so simple and straightforward. In my opinion buying used vehicles is as much about the seller as it is about the car, and these guys are pretty damn good.

This company are a absolute pleasure to deal with! Seeing a car they had on the Internet, Jack gave me full confidence in the car and gave me a very strong deal. After speaking to a number of dealerships and garages he was the most professional and helpful I came across. The fact that Brin drove all the way up to North Yorkshire to deliver the car and to take my old car back to Essex was the icing on the cake. 10/10 never mind 5.

After seeing a lovely smart webpage for Howard Smee I rang to enquire about a vehicle. I was promised a call back but this never happened. Rang again was told someone would come back to me, never happened and so rang a THIRD time and was told "oh yeah on the phone". And now to make it even wose I have just been told that car is now sold, so unprofessional, a client shouldn't have to chase for a response wouldn't recommend and wouldn't use in the future.

Traded in a perfectly good car, in return received a car......that required £2293 spent on it. He priced work seperately, on abit of paper for £440, I had an independent garage price work. Price £1200 ! Needless to say, still waiting reply, I'm confused to know, how a car with only 1 month of 12 can have so much wrong with it. My advice stay well clear of dealer.
