Land Rover Discovery was recalled. we arranged a lion car but when i arrived one was not available, so i had to get a taxi to work with no offer of a lift or reimbursement. The car was not ready that evening as told so another lift (from my daughter not JLR) Collected the car the following day - The re-call had not been done because the dealer did not have the software to do the job (seatbelt issue) I was told that i should not drive as it was a safety issue and advised to book into another dealer - This dealer had done th ere-call notification to my office. Oh and i had a service bill that they did with no request from me! Glutton for punishment - I purchased a new Defender which my daughter bumped and 4 months later no idea when it will be ready as parts are on 'back order' !
I booked to have drive car and gave deposit on 28/10/23. Finally, I can’t buy the car then I requested to refund deposit £500. Unfortunately, the Sales executive hasn’t replied and refunded to me for 2 weeks. Finally, I asked the manager again by phone to refund the deposit. The staff of this company hasn’t responded to the customer. The service is awful.

Booked Range Rover in for a service at 10.30,am which I was told by Mike would take 1 day. Received a phone call later on to say the car wouldn't be ready until the next day. When arriving, Mike told me the service was only part completed as there is a shortage of parts - aux belt & transfer box oils - so will need to rebook when available. I was charged £791.68 for oil/filter change, this included 2 hours labour. The vehicle will need to go back put can't give me a date.
We purchased the clubsmart guard, £650 for 3 years cover for scuffs , dents, scratches on wheels and bodywork. We tried to claim for a dent in a door and was told it wasn’t covered ! They reviewed the dent by a picture and I clearly shown it was under their 3 mm depth and under 30cm in length terms and conditions! But they still refused ! I have shown it’s under by placing a pound coin by it which is 2.8mm in depth and clearly show it’s under this and it is 19cm in length! The sales manager at Chester jaguar agreed it was under , but clubsmart still refused and wouldn’t send anybody out to review the dent ! DO NOT TAKE OUT THIS POLICY AS ITS NOT WORTH THE PAPER ITS WRITTEN ON ! THEY LOOK AT DAMAGE BY PICTURES AND DO NOT SEND ANYBODY OUT TO LOOK AT IT ! TOTAL RIP OFF

UPDATE The motor ombudsman has been looking at my claim and said that clubsmart hasn’t fulfilled there agreement and said that they should now fix the damage, they have now booked the car in for a repair , highly recommend the motor ombudsman if you have any issues
Bought a 2018 Land Rover Velar from Chester last year with an extended warranty. Noticed a fault on the dash earlier this week and were advised by the AA (who were exceptional) that our water pump had collapsed. On returning the vehicle to Chester we have been advised that there is a minimum 14 day wait for diagnostics and not guidance on how long it will take to complete the work. No courtesy car and informed that we should hire a vehicle at our own expense. Not what I expected from the once mighty Land Rover!
Absolutely rubbish. Not going to say anything else as the thought of them just winds me up. Been wound up enough now.................. ..............................................................
The sales just want you buy more cars and they don't care about your need. Very terriable after sale. they NEVER think about sort it, if you has any problem about your car under warranty. Also they just try to sale other cars to you.

Have used this dealership for a while. Apart from the fact they often wish to retain the vehicle re parts etc to the following day I have been very satisfied with their work. Having recently taken the vehicle in they found a fault with a £6800 solution needed (wiring had been damaged) I repeatedly tried to get in touch and was promised time and again that the service department would contact me which they have never done. They tried to get me to book it in for MOT but when I pointed out I was still waiting for them to contact me, again I was told someone would contact me. I spoke to them again today and was told that the service department was too busy. I could have looked around a month ago and will now do so. To balance this review slightly I will say that their valeting is top notch and I have always found the office staff extremely helpful and polite.
