It was an experience to deal with Inchcape Derby again. It was time to change the car, and after seeing the one I would like to purchase, I reserved it and waited for the follow-up call. Charlotte from sales introduced herself, and put me at ease knowing that the car is mine if I still want it. From start to finish Charlotte was very professional all the way. I can not recommend Inchcape, and indeed Charlotte enough. So if you are looking for a new/used car, visit Inchcape Derby.

After purchasing my range rover sport as an exdemo with 11600 miles, at 25600 mile it has suffered the well documented manufacturing defect cam bearing failure causing the engine to seize..rebecca from customer services/aftersales has been very unhelpful leaving me with a huge bill for the replacement engine...beware!!!!
buy a car at yor peril from this dealer. They sell accident damaged cars as hpi clear as i have found to my cost. Then tell you they dont have to disclose this as it was done at jlr if it wasn't for covid I would have taken it back in March. Have been in touch with inchcape jlr head office all you get is dealer is prepared to repair what aBout resale price when another dealer tells you its been in an accident I bought a car i thought was straight but over the weeks found lots of defects overspray waking tape badly aligned panels . Rang yesterday but they were busy still are. can't even reply to you you will not sell me another car arrogance personified

Approximately 9 months ago, I purchased my range rover sports, 65 plate from InchCape Land Rover in Derby. (Pride Stadium) From a month of ownership, it has had numerous oil and filter changes and one DPF change. Constant hazard lights on saying DPF is full (without prior warning that it was nearly full - as it should- and therefore due for a long drive.) "service required" light is permanently on. It has spent more time in the service room than serving us. After 5 and a half months of this, (this is the short version) I rejected the car under the consumers act. (Serious monthly drama in between by the way, but I will spare you..) I have written 4 formal letters before court action, numerous emails. Inch Cape Derby has ignored me to date. Upon browsing forums and reviews, it turns out I am not alone and this is a common problem! There is clearly a latent defect with these models IMHO. I believe that Land Rover were aware of this inherent defect but yet keep selling these cars to unsuspecting customers. My theory is that these are old non-compliant euro 6 engines modified but are now causing problems, based on my extensive research. There is clearly a latent defect with these models IMHO. I believe that Land Rover are perfectly aware of this inherent defect but yet keep selling these cars to unsuspecting customers. The turbo no longer works, it struggles to reach 40mph and the poor car now drives like a castrated bull! It now languishes on the driveway. All that money and we cannot drive it! I am in the process of engaging lawyers as they refuse to engage in conversation with me. The shame is that, up until now, I was interested in finding a solution to this amicably as I still like the range. But the love affair is now over. Has anyone been through this with Land Rover, please share your experience! I cannot believe a reputable dealer such as Inch Cape Land Rover Derby can treat a customer this way! This is very disappointing. Shame on you Land Rover! If we cannot trust Land Rover, whom we pay a hefty premium to buy directly from, then whom can we trust?

What a joke i dont think my face fits i needed some information about range rover velar from the team at Land Rover Derby and i didnt get what i wanted they thought it was funny and having a laugh
We have bought an Ex Demo Land Rover Discovery Sport and I cannot praise Inchcape Derby enough as when we decided that was the car for us on the Wednesday afternoon, they put a tow-bar on cleaned and put GardX Protection inside and out. And the car was ready to pick up Friday afternoon. I can’t speak highly enough of the sales representative, Charlotte Brough is a very pleasant well mannered young lady. She couldn’t do enough for us. We would definitely deal with her again.

Steer clear of Inchcape Land Rover in Derby, the service is appalling. Thought I was buying a car from them, was awaiting a part ex price on my car and awaited a call but after nearly 24 hours of calling and being told someone would get back to me finally got someone to talk to who informed me they had sold the car?!! I had spent 3 hours in the showroom, having my car appraised, waiting around, test driving the car I was buying, waiting around again, agreeing I wanted the car, it seems they had already sold it!!! Disgusted and extremely disappointed - will never step foot in there again.

I reserved the car... booked a test drive, sat in reception for 45 min being ignored, walked out in discussed. Took three weeks and many emails and phone calls to get £99 reservation back because they admitted it was already sold. Reservations system is a con. They admitted they were “having problems “ because it was allowing multiple reservations against the same car even when it had been sold. Asked for the manager name, wouldn’t give it. Completely joke. Stay away.
