Found our car and confirmed it was as suitable as possible for two disabled people to use for reliability. Asked if the car was okay until the next day as it was a 1 1/2 hour drive each way. Arrived the next day and they knew nothing about us. The car was parked with 3 rows of cars behind it and would take ages to clear for a test drive as planned. On getting the keys it would not start, but did after a jump start by the valet man, as the salesman had no idea where the battery was. The sliding door handle was broken and beyond this, we could not tell as things like the radio, lights would have drained any power. In the end, we had to leave it and on checking later, the vehicle in this condition was £1,000 more expensive than all the other equivalent in the UK. Based on my experience I would not recommend Hyde Motor Company to sell a toy car.

Horrendous place to buy a car. Customer service is seriously lacking . Wouldn't recommend.

I have bought quite a few of my cars from Hyde motor company and I can not fault anything, customer service- superb, car price - reasonable, after care- excellent and kept in regular contact with me whilst the cars have been prepped for collection. This is a family ran business and a fantastic one at that!

So pleased that at last we found a car that was good for the daughter and safe for her family. Hyde Motor Co were happy to allow an inspection by the RAC and address issues that came up. You don't expect perfect when buying an inexpensive second hand car but you do want safety and after a dreadful experience with another company it was good to have a really positive experience with these guys. Next time I need a replacement car I won't need to travel all around Greater Manchester looking for one, I'll just drive down the road to Hyde Motor Co.

We travelled from Barnsley to view an vauxhall astra that was for sale at Hyde Motor Company. We got there, was very helpful, never disagreed to anything I said or wanted. Returned next day to pick it up, they valeted, put a 12month mot and also serviced it for us. How many dealerships would do that?? We had a few little problems (nothing serious) with the car, contacted them, explained, they transferred the money so I could sort it from my side. Would definitely recommend them and if in near future want another I'd definitely return! Thanks guys really!

Brought this car at the start of December. Lied about the MOT recommended work. In less than 2 months the car has needed multiple repairs including a clutch replacement and new battery. Cost of repairs are more than the car. Hyde Motor Company are horrible. Do not use!
