Brilliant, stress free experience buying my second Suzuki Swift from them. Special shout out must go to Robert.....as always he went above and beyond any expectations!! Great team! Now when I’m leaving for work I have low pressure in one of the tyres. Discovered a nail. Perfect 😕 1 james mcnabb 3 reviews·13 photos a minute ago New I purchased a skoda kodiaq 2018 from these lot, but unfortunately it was over the phone purchase due to distance. It had a glorious history and up keep and the photos of the vehicle showed it was a good car. The sales person Gavin Fraser made out the car was in excellent condition, even went around it himself. The car was delivered to me free of charge, but I decided to meet the driver 1/2 way. The car arrived dirty and wet, but it had been on the road and wet conditions. Due to this, the car wasn't body work inspected or should I say hidden. Next day I washed the car and the history showed up. Overspray, misalignment of driver side doors and bumper out of line. I contacted Gavin and he knew nothing about it, nearly 20 years working there and his professional eye never seen it. That's when the hassle started, I could return the vehicle with the mileage procedure deducted at £1.50 per mile ( including the delivery miles) so looking at over 300 miles. Get a vehicle report at my cost and no mention of if they would sort it. Distance selling has its flaws when companies like this just throw the paperwork at you to say you will lose money either way of my purchase. AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOT WORTHY OF CAR SELLING WORLD. GAVIN FRASER is a not a honest man. Argument is on going. Please becareful what you purchase as the other person (GAVIN FRASER) is not your friend and he only thinks about himself and not YOU or the company he works for. IAN GRIEVE AT FALKIRK. Please comment, I know there is good stories, but also post the bad. The photos show the overspray and misalignment of areas. This car was supposed to be in excellent condition. Especially for the price I paid. Crooks.

I recently purchased a Suzuki Vitara from Ian Grieve limited and couldn’t be happier with the service I received from sales executive Robert Spaulding. He went far and beyond what was expected of him. I was helped all along the purchasing process and guided by Robert every step of the way. He took care of everything for me, road tax the V5 form, transferring my private plate. Most of all he delivered the car to my door for me on his day off, for which I was extremely grateful. I am a first time buyer from this garage and if the treatment I received from Robert Spalding is the norm for these people I have no reservations in recommending Ian Grieve Ltd. Thank you again Robert for your excellent service. John G. Inverness.

I cannot recommend Ian Grieve for the following reasons. I purchased a Compass Trailhawk (with 19k miles) and within a few days it broke down. They had the car for two weeks and took it on a 277 mile road test and returned the car with vomit down the side of the passenger seat. They were also unable to rectify the fault and the car was returned to them 5 times in total during my short ownership. Each time they had the car for two weeks and were unable to fix it. On the final occasion, it was returned to me with loose subframe bolts. I only noticed as there was a banging coming from underneath. Two bolts were gone and the other two only had less than 2 threads until they dropped out also (this wasnt even where the banging was coming from). This would have been catastrophic if the subframe dropped as the steering column would have seperated and I would have had no steering. The car was plagued with mechanical and electrical faults. Too many to list. It broke down in the right hand lane of a motorway. The brakes were unresponsive at a junction one morning. They were able to provide a courtesy car, but only if I could make the journey back to them. That didn't help me when I was broken down at home with a 2 week waiting time from RAC. I had to get Jeep involved and open up a case as I was being ignored. I returned the car for a refund (but incurred a deduction for mileage driven. Even though 400 miles was on road tests by them and 400 miles was returning it to be fixed multiple times (when it wasn't recovered by the RAC) Once they agreed to refund the car I offered to remove my dash cam wiring but they insisted they do it. They cut up the wiring rendering the rear dash cam useless. They also didn't pay the agreed amount when they refunded me. It was stressful driving this car, especially trying to nurse it back to the dealership several times. Owning this car had been expensive and time consuming and kept leaving me stranded. This was a terrible car and I feel sorry for whoever bought it next.

Avoid like the plague !!! Worst customer service experience staff rude and abrupt , car was in for a minor service and told fuel lines were rusty and dangerous advised I should not drive my car , I didn't even ask for a quote to fix problem , took my car straight to an independent garage and they cleaned fuel pipes with a rag and advised they were in good condition . This garage will constantly tell you problems with your car that don't exist, DO NOT BOOK YOUR CAR IN FOR AN M.O.T with them as your car will fail with a catalogue of problems that don't exist, I witnessed some poor customer being told his car had failed MOT and would cost 975.00 pounds to fix today !!!!! I love my car but wish I had never dealt with this garage from the start ! Scroll down and look at all the reviews and you will start to see the bigger picture! I have reported this garage to suzuki UK ,motor ombudsman and trading standards

If you are looking for a part for a slightly older Subaru avoid this company. Three times I called and got told they would call back they never did. Subaru sent out recall info on cars with faulty airbags to call your local Subaru. I called Ian Grieves did not honour the recall on faulty airbags. I had to take my car 40 miles away regardless of living local to the grieves Subaru. I will never purchase another car from this disgusting company. Good customer service when you are buying a car, zero customer service after you are out their door. Aftercare and servicing are non existent regardless of promising aftercare.

would not sell me a jeep under Motability nationwide car scheme as they wanted more money for the car than standard Motability terms. They are a registered Motability dealer. Would only sell to a private customer to get more money. I understand times have been tough but hard enough being disabled without this sort of attitude.

Poor Service. Had my car in for service. Brake fluid change only done to front calipers, rear brakes left untouched. Charged for utility belt which did not exist and broke my glove box. Changed coolant but left expansion tank with old fluid in. Returned to attempt repairs correctly but mechanic left brake fluid all over rear hub, tyre and wheel.. Was at garage no less than six times to complete simple service work. Mechanic had poor understanding of how brake system on my car worked. Was given new glove box and tank of petrol as an apology but for a £388 service this didn't really hit the spot. Would definitely not recomend.

I was looking for a used Golf Estate and one came up for sale on the website. I called and spoke to Gavin who told me a bit about the ca4 but as I had been doing my research this was just extra information. We went to view the car and met Gavin who was friendly and informative and gave us plenty of space to think about our decision. After deciding to buy the car, Gavin was superb arranging all the documents and details. Now we have had a minor issue but everyone we have spoken to, emailed or met has been nothing but professional and courteous. I highly recommend Ian Grieve.
