Resolving issues

Since purchasing "the delightful DS4"—his words, not mine—the average monthly spend on repairs has been £189. This company buys cars from auctions and sells them on without properly inspecting them. Their supposed "multi-point inspection" is utter nonsense. The issues I’ve had to fix would have been obvious to anyone with even a basic understanding of cars. The salesman is a textbook example of a stereotypical car dealer. Avoid at all costs. This review will be shared on Auto Trader, Trustpilot, and any other relevant platforms to warn people about this company and the person who sold me this money pit. I fully expect their reply to include an apology and attempts to turn the blame on me for not contacting them. My response to that is simple: why waste my energy fighting something I know they won’t rectify? I’d rather focus my energy on warning others to avoid their dodgy practices. Now, to address some of their predictable responses: Extortion Claim: I have not asked you for a single penny, so calling this extortion is slanderous. You should tread carefully with such accusations. Vehicle Inspection: The car failed its MOT due to a severely corroded suspension arm. Corrosion like that doesn’t develop in six months, which clearly indicates your vehicles are not inspected properly before sale. Compensation: To reiterate, I have never asked for compensation. My negative review is entirely justified, and it is my right to leave it. I don’t want your money—I also don’t want anyone else falling victim to my experience with your subpar vehicles. Abusive Tone: I have not threatened anyone. Yes, my tone is strong, but that’s because I’ve had to spend nearly £1,000 on repairs in just six months. These are issues that would have been flagged by a proper inspection. If you can’t handle strong feedback, don’t sell subpar cars. Wheel Bearing: If the car had been properly driven or tested during your so-called “inspection,” the failing bearing would have been noticed. But it’s clearly easier for you to sell the car as-is and burden your customers with the repairs. The “solutions” you offer are designed to deflect responsibility and frustrate your customers further. Communication Before Purchase: I sourced the car myself and spoke with your salesperson several times before collection. That makes the lack of quality even more disappointing. Malicious Intent: Do happy customers leave negative reviews? Of course not. Do you think I sat down, loving my car, and decided to write a bad review for fun? Get real. Your arguments are as poorly structured as your cars are overpriced. Your replies to negative reviews follow the same pattern—playing the victim and blaming the customer. It’s as predictable as it is pathetic. Post-Sale Contact: You’re correct that I didn’t contact you after the wheel-bearing issue, but only because your response to that was dismissive and demonstrated a clear lack of care. That alone showed me there was no point. The MOT failure—another £240 repair—was the final straw. Now it’s obvious why you don’t MOT your cars before selling them: it’s a cowardly way of avoiding accountability. Your marketing team is clearly skilled at crafting replies, and I’ll give you credit for that. It’s no surprise, given how much practice they’ve had. However, you can expect more negative reviews, as it is my absolute right to share my experience. You cry victim while stomping on your customers—genuinely disingenuous and pathetic. Do better Sami
