I've been trying to track down contact details for iDrive for about a month now. The new dealerships that seem to have changed names post iDrive claim ignorance to this company ever existing and have dismissed my attempts to contact them. Anyone have a contact number or address for this seemingly vanishing company?

Try Pellon Motor Group you might find them there. Best of luck

The address is the same as My Car Choice in Halifax. So assume they have opened under the new name My Car Choice as the address matches.
I was slightly dubious about purchasing a car from this company but found them to be very genuine and helpful. I knew what model I wanted and amount I was willing to spend. They had a fantastic selection at both sites and I test drove a few. I finally saw one that I really liked but was above my price range by almost a grand. They took my old car as part exchange andi only had to pay a hundred pound more than I planned. The car was very low mileage so a complete bargain. I've had it a year now and am so pleased with it! I would recommend to anyone looking for a second hand car to go and have a look at their selection of cars, the service in my opinion is second to none, the guys were very polite and helpful and told me to contact them if I had any problems. I will definitely be going back when I'm ready for a new car.
Purchased a Ford Fiesta this year, it was Cat D but they assured me there had been no structural damage. Took the car away and loads of undisclosed issues with the electrics, also they hadn't supplied the thing to fix a puncture, dispite saying they would. I suggested that they cover the cost of me taking it to a local ford garage to resolve the electrics, but they said I would have to take it back to them for them to fux. This is a 200 mile round journey, would mean having to have a day off work to go over there, and arranging transport back, before hvi g to go back over to collect the car again. They said everything had been checked and worked so I shouldn't have had to do this. Also there was no service history so I took it to get services and asked a trustworthy garage to check the car for structural damage; they found a big crack on part of the steering, wish Inhadn't trusted these people. Stay away
Bought a SEAT ibiza from them last year. The sales rep seemed to be quite bullish and didn't explain much about the damage done in the previous crash (CAT D supposedly). There was a few things missing when I examined the car. Service history, parcel shelf, locking wheel nuts and rear seat belt. The salesman said he would sort it out and would have the parts delivered to my home address within a week or two. One year down the line I have not received any parts. I have rang and sent emails on numerous occasions and have had no response. Great customer service! A few days ago I took my car to garage to have all four tyres replaced. After about 20 mins sitting around I was called into the workshop to look at something. The N/S/F wheel had 3 welds on the inside due to the previous crash. The technican who was changing the tyres said in all of the 33 years he had been working on cars, he had never seen anything like it. Can't wait to see what the next component is, that has been fixed in a cheap skate manner. All in all I wouldn't waste a single breath there again, however if you would like a over priced poor car, I-DRIVE is the company for you.
I bought a car from i-Drive last November. I had a fault appear just 2 miles after driving away from them. Taking the car back to get it sorted, the salesman (Zak) assured me he would fix it, after five attempts he failed to. In the end I took the car to a main dealer where the faults that appeared on the dyno amounted to £1,000!!!!! Zak and i-Drive refused flat out to pay for the fixing of the car as they claimed it was 'wear and tear'. I told them as they refused to fix the car, then they should give me my part ex'd car back. My old car had recently been serviced and was in great condition for it's age. As I had zero trust in this person (i refuse to call him a man) I asked that my old car be driven to me and that my money be paid in cash, I did this as I wanted to ensure the money was paid back to me. The garage agreed to it all. The day after I was told no refund would be made in cash as they didn't do this (yet had originally agreed to) and that my old car wasn't going to be delivered to me as they had found a number of 'issues' with it and felt it wasn't road worthy....yet they were still willing to put it for sale at £800 In the end I got my new car fixed my a number of independent garages for a cost of around £700. I went back to i-Drive and asked if they would consider covering this cost. Once again they refused. Disgusted, I told i-Drive that they were being unfair and unprofessional. The (highly illiterate) texts messages I received from i-Drive also proved this. I'm in the process of taking these people to a small claims court and hope the matter will be resolved soon. Please, please, please only read the bad reviews as I 100% believe that the good reviews are written by either themselves or by their friends. It's always interesting to see a five star review be placed straight after a 1 star complaint. Avoid this company like the plague. They are untrustworthy, disrespectful and unprofessional.
I bought a 63 plate Hyundai i10 on February there was no mention of it being catD in the add in autotrader or the idrive website they promised the log book would follow on from the DVLA after a couple of calls still no logbook. I checked the website to find there no longer trading under that name and then checked the Hpi and found it was a damage repaired. Since then the cat broke up and the ceramic being sucked into the engine Hyundai agreed to replace the engine and Cat even though I had no service history guess it was on their system. It beats me they can close down and reopen as Ecodrive still selling cars photographed from the old site and Autotrader allowing them. I now have reissue log book and worthless receipt. Trading standards should close this company down.
I was looking to purchase another car from Idrive.. After reading all the reviews on idrive I feel to some extent they are unfair. I purchased my car a year ago and to date it runs smoothly. Depending on the kind of driver you are depends how well you look after your car. Some people will think it's ok to give a car back after a year or so and to be fair trading rules don't always go in favour of traders! I love my car and I couldn't fault the customer service provided to me. Reviews don't always reflect standards of traders. Everyone has their own opinion and some people feel it's ok to post reviews and put people off! I will highly recommend idrive to all my friends and point out once again they are a well mannered well established highly recommended company and I will buy my next car from them too
Just want to post this review. My partner bought a 2012 Hyundai i30 diesel when we went to look at the car it was as stated I was told it had some marks on the rear offside whitch were repaired the guy was honest and straight with me and on looking at all his car adds on his site he states if the car is a cat c and what I've seen the cars are repaired to a high standard and using secondhand parts is fine you will find a lot of insurance companies and garages do this to keep the cost down. Ive been a auto tec for 25 years so I think I know what I'm on about. So then this is what I'm leading upto. I found IDRIVE to be honest helpful fair so don't bad mouth them if you have a problem go see them I'm sure they will be half to help.
Idrive has changed trading name and details to Ecodrive Motors!!! They have charming bully sales rep!! Be aware read all the reviews! Anyone frauded by Idrive should go and give EcoDrive motors a call, you will soon recognise yours sales person. Autotrader will be advised also of this of dealership.
I bought a 2013 Ford Fiesta 1.6 econetic diesel which was not quite 2 years old it had one owner 50k miles and cat d. It's been 10 months since bought it now has 60k and all spent on it was a oil and filter last month, this car has been a1 it returns ave 63 mpg in winter and 68/70 summer .idrive put 4 new tyres on it as requested on purchase and it's never failed. The guys there were honest when I asked info on damage it had and new parts fitted, I also checked this out with the owner and it was correct it needed a bumper wing and headlight there was no chassis damage and very happy with deal. I would certainly buy again form this dealer.
