This place is proper dodgy. Bought an Audi A6 from them, overpriced to be honest for the high milaege it has! charged me deposit and some other charges, not sure what for, think I was ripped off! Sold some rubbish warranty which is worthless. The salesman after he took my deposit and other charges literally said to me in my face I don’t care now I’ve got my commission money, wow great service you ar*%sehole ! All together really really bad experience, and to top it off turns out the car had previously been in an accident! Confirmed by my mechanic !

Forget any 5 star review you have read about imperial cars. DO NOT under any circumstances buy a car from these crooked thieves. I bought a mercedes e class from them paid 15,000 for it. They told me it had 1 previous owner and it had 2. They said they had 2 keys for the car and turns out the other key has magically disappeared. The 115 point inspection is toilet paper, none of the cars are inspected just look at the reviews on google. And there is further proof of this because when i first viewed the car the discs and pads were shot and the warning light was on also after they sold me the car i took it for an mot 2 days later and it failed on a dangerous handbrake and rear brakes binding. To make matters worse the car had also been involved in an accident and there was overspray on the rubber to back this up. To add insult to injury my local mercedes dealership did a healthcheck and diagnostic on the car and found a mileage blocker on it. After numerous attempts trying to contact imperial cars i have started legal proceedings. Their showrooms are closing down one by one now you know why. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! You have been warned
Good car but EXCEPTIONALLY BAD after sales service. Promised an owners handbook from head office when I purchased the car. 2 months later with numerous chasing calls and emails but no books - and now no replies. Car cost £12000. I am asking for £50 to buy an owners handbook off EBay as Imperial obviously don't have the one they promised. Now having to take them to Small Claims Court. Absolutely astoundingly poor customer relations. Go elsewhere if you have any choice.

I decided to buy a car from carsaz part of the imperial cars group. I had paid a deposit and they arranged a day I can collect my car. All meant to be contact and hassle free. When I arrived after I signed finance agreement and paid 50% of the cars price (£4000) I couldn’t tax my car as they didn’t have a paperwork or V5C for the car. Jamie regional director (like he introduced himself) of imperial cars who was looking after us suggest to go to post office and fill V62 form. Wasting my 45 minutes on a journey to the post office doesn’t have the form. Then they asked me to go with a member of staff and drive in the same car to other post office where its meant to be contact free putting a health risk on me and my family (2 meter social distancing)I have refused to go in the car with him so he went alone but couldn’t organise it himself. Jamie suggest as car is taxed on someone elses name I can drive back home and in meant time he will organise everything for me. It has been more then week and both carsaz and imperial cars won’t do anything. No one has bothered to call me back. They are blaming on short of staff during Covid -19. Car also has broken door which they have said they couldn’t fixed it as they repair centres aren’t open! When I phoned back Hayley was very rude and argumentative, trying blame on me as I wanted to buy car and it was such a short time for them to organise it as they short of staff Why do you commit yourself to do business when you are simply incapable to do so. Still I have no receipt, paperwork or logbook and no one will help me now that they have my money. Very poor service and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone! Avoid! This is the last car I have bought from you!

Don’t purchase a car from these people!! I had the worst experience buying a car from imperial! They don’t care about you once you’ve driven away.. be warned, below is my experience 17/06/19 I purchased a Volvo XC60 2015 registration number HY65 UBL, when we inspected the car we noticed it had been damaged by a member of staff in another vehicle. The lady who was looking after us apologised and said the damage will be fixed, we just need to arrange a time that best suits us and it should take a day so if we brought it first thing we could pick it up later. I would just like to address now that we live 45 minutes away, so even though the damage wasn't a fault of ours we were happy to drive there and back. My husband arrived at 8:30 am handed the car over and told it wouldn't be ready until Monday and heres a courtesy car, not a problem my husband would leave early from work and exchange vehicles. Monday came and my husband left work drove to imperial to be told it would be tomorrow, Tuesday came got a call to say car still not ready, Wednesday came my husband couldn't take anymore time off work as he's self employed and was fed up of being messed around so I heavily pregnant put my 2 young children in the car and drove half way to Southampton to be told by my husband to turn around as the car was once again not ready. I emailed and called customers services to express my frustration , I told them I would like the car to be returned to me in the morning, I was reassured that, that wouldn't be a problem. Thursday morning came I called to get a rough time as I had a hospital appointment they said it'll be back by 10 the driver had left , this never happened after countless calls until 2pm to see where he was, he when finally turned up. I had missed my hospital appointment , my son had missed a day at childcare. The gentleman turned up with 3 of his sons, one of which was sick getting out of my car at this point you can imagine how distressed and upset I was, the gentleman told me he had been called in on his day off hence why he had his sons, I couldn't believe how a big company like yourself could be this unprofessional. We booked the car in on the 09/09/19, I emailed before to say our service light was on and could we upgrade to a full service and pay the difference, this was not a problem. The car was ready in a few hours it flew through with no advisories which we were obviously relieved about, unfortunately we didn't have the service book in the car so it was unable to be stamped. We have tried a few times to get the book stamped but no service team have been available or closed. In a matter of weeks the service light came on again, frustrated I took it to our local garage as I couldn't drive all the way to Southampton. I explained that it had just been through a full service and it came back that there was no issues or work needed for the car. The garage called me while they had the car to ask me when exactly I had a service so I got all the paperwork from imperial and went down to the garage , where I was told the oil was sludgy and had not been cleaned despite an invoice stating that you had changed and done the oil. Another major fault which wasnt picked up was the break pads were worn down by 2/3mm which according to motor policy anywhere between 2-5 mm should be an advisory. I had driven less than 1500 miles since the mot how could they've worn down this much. Looking through the paperwork from imperial again they were ticked green and there was no written evidence of there level of brake pads. I paid the invoice from the garage for the work and I was told the reason the light keeps coming on is the EGR valve another problem that should've been picked up not just reset which is obviously what was done. I have 3 young children, if I hadn't of taken the car in for this light I wouldn't have known about the brakes so you've put mine and there safety on the line and this is something that I cannot forgive or will let you get away with. The stress, upset and safety of my children hasn’t been a concern of imperial when dealing with my complaint

I am rating Imperial Car Supermarket 1 star as there is no option for zero! From the day I enquired about a bmw 640d for £21,255 it all went wrong. Was sent a video of the car by a salesman which clearly showed a price tag of £21,255, I have the proof. Called up to leave a deposit on it which I then got told the actual price is £21,685. So I spoke to a manager which then said it was an error and he will not honour it and stated he will happily loose a sale rather than honour the £21,255 displayed. Frustrated as you would be, I called up an hour or so later and spoke to someone who then said they will do it for £21,485 which then I placed a deposit on the car. I was due to collect the car on the 29th November. What was a 2 and abit hours drive to the Southampton branch, upon arrival and inspecting the car, it had deep scratches on the lower front bumper (half the bumper) was told they will have it sorted. Went for a test drive and the car had no power what so ever! At this stage i was more than annoyed to say the least. They took the car to there service centre to which they were told it was the inlet manifold. Was told by Lee Gibbs that for the inconvenience he would fill the tank up for me, sort the scratches out on the lower bumper and the side mirror aswell as the mechanical issue with the manifold. Saturday 7th December, we arrived at 12.30 as being told by Ryan in the handover department the day before the car is ready etc. Upon arrival, it was the opposite. The car was far from ready, scratches on the bumper was not seen too, water marks all over the car, not a proper valet you would expect especially paying over £21k for the car! Interior stunk of smoke, being a non smoker this really frustrated me. They made no efforts what so ever. The people that I dealt with were very blunt, made me and my partner feel very uncomfortable. To top it off we waited just over 2 hours for the handover which was unacceptable. Whilst we was waiting, the valeter took the car and sort of sorted the scratches out. Not 100%. When the car arrived back we had a look and noticed that they had curbed the front alloy! I was furious. We mentioned this to Rob Hall to be told to drive back to them (over 2 hours away) to have it rectified. What a joke! He then said he would knock of a stingy £35 which would cost him to repair! Eventually he agreed £50. Was promised a full tank of fuel and again that wasn’t done as apparently there fuel card wasn’t working! So had to go out my way and fuel up and have them reimburse me! Was told by Chris who eventually did the handover that the truth is the car only came out of service the day we collected it. Was lied to and made to feel crap! There is alot more to this, have missed out alot as it is too much to write out. I would avoid buying from this company simply because the whole experience was shocking! A massive firm like this, no leadership, no communication. Nothing was done and we was lied too! Very poor communication within staff members and lack of knowledge. Us being customers had to show emails to provide proof as to what was agreed as nothing was recorded on file. Absolutely no sense of compassion towards customers and inadequate customer service skills. No follow up calls were made after purchase. Would never wish to deal with imperial cars again and would never recommend to friends or family as the company failed me as a customer.

Imperial Car Supermarkets sold me a BMW 318i for £14,500, and sold me an RAC full parts warranty. Sold me a 55,000 mile full service. At 60,000 timing chain is faulty, RAC Warranty Co. turned their backs and after a few long phone calls, so did Imperial. I'm left with a car in pieces and no support.

Excellent service - smiley, friendly and warm from the moment you drive onto the premises. Great explanations on the services and cars. Overall, Imperial Cars Supermarkets were just fantastic.

I recently went with my brother to get his new Mercedes from Imperial Car Supermarket. The service there was good and I've not heard him moan about the car yet so it must be running well! I would recommend this dealership!

RB in response to Great
Is this a joke? Your brother should be the one reviewing not you...
The service at Imperial Cars Supermarket and the car itself were both brilliant. I bought a Vauxhall from them and its not missed a beat, no issues to report. I would definitely recommend this dealership!
