Steer clear, nice as pie when buying the car, god help you if you have a problem, rude and arrogant, wouldn’t even give 1 star.

I am so pleased with my new car! Booked an appointment and the car was immaculate and clean for my viewing, took it for a test drive and I fell in love! Gary was so welcoming, professional and made the whole process simple - no salesman jargon, no selling tactics, just simple and straightforward talk. I collected the car 3 days later with a full tank of petrol which I was extremely grateful for! I would definitely recommend IMC and viewings by appointment should be the way everyone works to get that personal attention.

I have just purchased a car from IMC and couldn't be happier. Both Gary and Guy have been extremely helpful, and not at all pushy- I was able to browse the cars and test drive a couple without any hassle. I have found a couple of small problems with the car that I bought, one being the heated seat that we didn't notice as it was scorching weather and a couple of marks on the paintwork. The car has been booked in to get them sorted without any hesitation. I will definitely go back to them when I'm looking to change my car and throughly recommend them.

Whilst I would normally review any dealer/holiday etc before I part with large amounts of money, in this instance, we happened to go past this garage after we had visited friends, and just called in. Really liked a car they had, test drove it, and put a deposit on it. At home, I googled the company and had a sleepless night after reading the comments. As I write this now, my fears were unfounded. The owner, Gary, was pleasant and not pushy at all, and the next day after collecting the car, I had a small problem with a wing mirror. This is being dealt with at the garage that IMC use, with no hassle. So, as I speak, right now, I can only recommend this dealer, it just seems a shame that people only find time to grumble and complain, but never praise good service.......only saying ....

We have purchased a car from this dealership and all I can say is BEWARE!!!! We have been sold a vehicle with a continual squeak which Guy tried to sort out three times before throwing his hands up and saying "we have done our best". This was a condition of purchase for us and they are basically trying to get away with this. They won't we will now start Court proceedings. I hope people read this review and the others, if we had read the reviews on here we would not have gone near the place.

I searched high and low for the car i wanted, but could not find what i was looking for, until i met Guy Barnett at IMC. He sat down with me & found the car i wanted. Very professional throughout my purchase. I had one small after sales issue and it was resolved quickly with no fuss.

Bought a car from these guys and have not stopped spending money on it since. Got it home and realised neither the parking sensors or air con worked. Phoned them up to try and resolve this and their response was "happens all the time...try pressure washing the sensors." Turns out it was a common fault, air con had a massive leak. Took it to a garage in the first year to investigate a rattle, resulted in having to spend £2000 to put right a "poorly installed replacement engine". Classic example of a bad car dealer, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I Purchased a car from Imperial Motor Company and had it independently checked and found that it needed £1,300 of work and it was blowing blue smoke. Imperial Motor Company said that they fixed it but the day after it broke down again and more blue smoke. I asked for my money back and they have refused. going to court in November. Worst car dealer that I have ever come across.
