Bought a 3 year old 959 Panigale from these guys advertised as having Ducati FSH, turned out no stamps for nearly 3 years (only break in service and their supposed service before sale). Having realised how bent they are I immediately serviced the bike myself and found oil was ancient, filter and sump plug heavily full of metal filings (clearly not seen an oil change since break in), virtually no coolant in bike, tyres virtually flat, a safety critical bolt hanging out, I could go on.

i bought a ktm duke 125 brand new from In Moto LTd KTM and the clutch cable was loose, i was on the dual carriageway where i was going around 50mph and all of a sudden the bike slowed down and when i took it to Inmoto they said my clutch cable was loose so they tightened it, then i brought the bike back because it was not resolved and then they said the clutch cable was tight, They checked the bike over and said the clutch disc was worn out and said they wont cover it when it was their mistake they didnt check the bike over properly before giving it to me. Also i noticed a few bolts missing on the frame.

I purchased a nearly new motorcycle from In Moto Ltd (RSV4 Factory). From the first day of ownership the bike was faulty, they had the bike back twice, the first time they couldn't locate the issue; the second time they allowed me to take it back, as it was rideable, and they would call me when the parts arrived from Italy, they never did. I also had the 'unpleasant' experience of having the rear wheel lock up on a roundabout whilst my partner was pillion. This was caused by all four of the bolts that hold the sprocket to the rear wheel shearing off. They did repair this for me. Upon contacting them again to repair the electronics issue they advised me the stater motor was faulty and they will not repair the electronic issue (under warranty) until I pay them for a replacement stator, the bike is less that three years old and apparently the stator motor breaking is 'fair wear and tear'. I am currently in talks with a solicitor about bringing a case to court under the consumer rights act.
