recently brought a car from ivybridge trade centre, found them very helpful and found the purchasing and trade experience really ease. overall great experience
Got my Golf R32 off these boys, they sorted great rate on finance and love car to bits. After a few weeks 1 tyre developed a slow puncture which they fixed free for me, no hassle. Would definitely recommend Ivy Bridge Trade Centre, nice bunch of lads!

I brought my car from Ivybridge Trade Centre, it was very reasonably priced and very well looked after. The thermostat became faulty after a few weeks. They very kindly replaced this part while I waited.

I bought a car in September, and have been quite disappointed with my choice to buy from Ivybridge. When viewing the car, I asked if there were any know issues or previous problems and was assured that nothing was known to be wrong with the car and that they do thorough checks over their vehicles to ensure they are up to a good standard before being sold on. Within the 3 month warranty, my engine warning light came on, but they did happily fix the issue and replaced a couple parts for me for free. Then, at the end of December, just after my warranty had ended, the car broke down and was un-driveable. My local garage suspected the gear box needed replacing, so I rang up Ivybridge and told them of this and said I was unhappy that such a big problem had occurred so shortly after purchasing the car. I was told that because I had done 2000 miles in the 3 months I had owned it (which is actually below average) they would not pay anything towards the repairs. I informed them that, under The Consumers Rights Act, within the first 6 months of owning a car, any issues that are presumed to have been prior to my buying of the car, I am entitled to requested a repair for. The person whom I spoke with, argued that I would have to prove that it was a problem at the time of my buying, which I would not have been able to do, despite me informing him that, within the first 6 months, it would have to be them that would have to prove that it had not been an issue at the time of my buying. It turns out the issue was that the teeth on the gear selector had worn away (so clearly it would have been an issue prior to me owning the car) but as it only ended up costing me £260, and it was obvious Ivybridge were not willing to pay for the repair, I decided to just pay for it myself and save all the hassle. I have now just had my MOT completed and it failed (costing me £245) due to the exhaust being extremely rusted and hanging off. The reason my exhaust was hanging off was because a previous owner of the car had taken off the bracket and had welded over the hole it had left (leaving an extremely obvious bad weld repair) so, either the Ivybridge mechanics had been too incompetent to notice this obvious defect, or they had noticed it and had failed to inform me of said defect. As well as these two major issues, I have had some minor issues such as a blown headlight and the battery on my key fob dying- this turned out to be more of an issue as I was not given a spare key or key pin and need the spare key to re-sync my key fob to the car and require the key pin in order to get a new key cut. Although I understand second hand cars will inevitably have issues, I am very disappointed as both of the major issues I encountered with my car were, in fact, pre-existing. Unfortunately for me, when considering both the major and minor issues, the car I bought (which was slightly overpriced for what it was anyway) has ended up costing me far more than I had hoped for. I would definitely not recommend Ivybridge Trade Centre and am very disappointed with the service I have received.
Traveled from Essex to look at a car I liked, there was no pressure I didn't feel hurried, I was given all the time I wanted to test drive, look car over ask questions, a small issue was readily resolved by Ivybridge chatting to my own mechanic back home. My Insurers were difficult to contact once I had purchased the car, the team let me use their computer to sort my insurance again no rush and no pressure. Ivybridge were very busy the day we were there, a number of people purchased vehicles that afternoon, that made me feel very comfortable purchasing my car from them. Will certainly look to them first with any future purchases.
I bought a xc90 Volvo ,it was spot on had no trouble what so ever, very good price a ,fair price for my trade in. Happy !
Would just like to thank Richard & the rest of the team from Ivybridge trade center for my new zafira from the moment I contacted you & explained my circumstances to the day i collected my new car yourself & friendly staff bent over backwards to do everything you could for me.I am very grateful & will definitely recommend you to family & friends thanks again, jason.
I recently viewed a car I wanted first refusal on. I paid a deposit but 2 days later changed my mind and decided to purchase a different vehicle from up the line. I informed Ivybridge Trade Centre and they refunded my deposit without any issue. Great service.
What a U Turn, found a nice Kia Sedona, with Ivybridge Trade Centre paid, picked it up and off I went.......... I broke down twice before arriving home only 15 miles away. You always worry with Second hand car dealers, so I sent an email, explaining the issues and expecting a fight on my hands. But no, what a fantastic, honest and hard working team. I explained I had lost my confidence in the Kia, so a replacement car was found, communications were faultless and the replacement car great. Any second hand car can go wrong, don't judge a team on its faults but how these are corrected. A1 Service, Thank You
