Found dealer easy to deal with and got car at great price. Was a bit dirty when first viewed vehicle but they made it look like new when I collected it! Managed to negotiate a new mot and service included in the price, and my friend who is a mechanic checked car after I saw reviews on here but he said was all ok, and he has dealt with this dealer and said they aren't a bad bunch! I would recommend to my friends/family and come back for another car.
Worst dealer ever!!! I will never go back to this dealer, when our car started displaying problems they reluctantly fixed it, when the problems intermittently continued they said there was nothing they could do, refused to take it back and I was then told "I'll see you in court if you want too mate".

Hi there, I have also had problems, I bought a car from these a week ago and had it serviced the day after at an independent garage that deemed it to be dangerous to drive! I took it back to which they inspected it themselves and told me the garage that serviced it had been to 'picky' which to my understanding garages are supposed to be thorough when undertaking a service or any work on vehicle. The manager/boss was also very rude to my husband and even told us he would be selling the car on! unbelievable!
After reading reviews of Ivybridge Trade Centre I was a bit weary, however they had the car I wanted so went for a look. The salesman Scott was friendly and keen to help. I had a car to trade in which he was happy to take and offered me a fair price (compared to some dealer in the area). The deal was done and a week later after a safety check which included them fitting 2 new tyres, I pick the car up. all the work had been carried out and the car was fully valeted. 2 days after I collected it the engine management light came on! i called them about it and they were only to happy to help. there was a problem with the wiring so they carried out all of the work required to put it right. 24 hours later i picked the car up again. all the work was carried out under warranty and did not cost me a penny. I work recommend this trade centre to anyone. Excellent service and decent priced cars. Thank Guys much appreciated.
I wanted a cheap first car after passing my test and they had a Peugeot 206 for sale, around £300 cheaper than anywhere else. I travelled about 2 hours on public transport to view it, but the customer service is pretty none existent. You are handed the keys and told to look at the car yourself, but you can't test drive it. I checked all the basics and was told the engine and gearbox were covered by one years warranty. Came back the next day to pick it up and there was an engine problem, I couldn't pick it up for another five days and when I got home it still wasn't fixed, I had to take it to my local garage and pay out for it to be done properly. When phoning up they didn't seem to care, rather than trying to fob me off. The car was however cleaned and presented well when we picked it up, and we were given all the service history etc. I'll probably shop around a bit better next time. I dont think I would recommend Ivybridge Trade Centre.

Hi, i am very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience when buying your 206. The car had a full PDi before delivery and unfortunately developed an electrical fault after you collected it, which we repaired under warranty. We did also offer to deliver the car back to you so you weren't inconvenienced. The car did offer extremely good value for money, and i hope that it continues to give trouble free motoring. If you do consider buying another car please feel free to contact myself directly and i will make sure that you receive good service. We sell 100 cars a month and 99% of these customers leave happy, and we would like you to be one of these.
We bought a van from Ivybridge Trade Centre who now call themselves Redlake Trade Centre. I can safely say the salesmen clearly didn't attend charm school. All they wanted to do was get you in, make your decision, take your money then get you out the door. Salesmen had very little knowledge on the vehicle and to be honest wasn't interested in helping or answering any questions. Would i buy another vehicle from Ivybridge Trade Centre/ Redlake Trade Centre? Answer is very unlikely.
I bought a Discovery from Ivybridge Trade Centre. I though they had pushy sales tactics and I found a few issues with the car so they agreed to reduce price by £100. Was given warranty but they would not cover any electrical issues, found this to be strange until the drive home. It was 15 minutes into the journey when the airbag warning light and ABS lights came on. Went to lock the car when I got home only to find the electrics on the driver side door didnt work, which meant I had no central locking or alarm. Contacted them and they refused to help as its all electrical issues that are not covered under warranty. Booked into local garage to find it needs new loads of work in the region of £1000, also found that the carpets were soaked due to sunroof drain leak (they had dried the top of the carpets for me to view), windscreen leaking, headlights not wired up properly, clutch master cylinder leak, leaking transfer box, leaking front and rear diffs. wouldn't touch this garage with a barge pole again and have reported them to trading standards.
I travelled 150 miles to look at car. Thought it would be in super condition after write up and price, it was not. We had to wait for the car. Asked about service history and told none unless book in car, no book found. Advisory on last mot required work which we were advised was done in house. No receipts or evidence of this, and not prepared to show us. Car was not as described, overpriced and no history. Sales technique was "local car". Probably the most unorganised set up and working in garage myself for many years there is no customer care. Oh and comment was "well if you don't buy it someone else will" awaiting their next victim sprung to mine. Purchase is you dare!

Hi, we are sorry to hear that you felt that you had a wasted journey. The car which you were looking at was a part exchange to clear 2005 Renault Laguna DCi which we were selling for £495. We normally just move these cars on at cost as cheap motoring for someone. If you like any of the other cars on our website please feel free to contact myself personally, and i will make sure that you have a good experience. Kind Regards Simon
What other reviewers seem to have missed is that main dealers bump up their prices for fripperies like cups of coffee, over-staffed reception rooms or always available test drives. If you can see through these tricks then Ivybridge Trade Centre will be a revelation and a breath of fresh air. True; it surprised me when I wasn't allowed to test drive my chosen car but that honesty is refreshing in a market of over-eager salespeople who aim to hook you with a test drive. When I came back and they bent over backwards to sort out a superb deal - which in the end is what it's all about. So, to put things simply; if you want a good deal go to these guys. Where other dealers stick to their guns these guys want to do a deal and 'meet in the middle' which should always be appreciated. The car I bought was immaculate inside and out and Richard and Scott, who I dealt with, had excellent knowledge, bordering on the nerdy. But I liked that as too many salespeople talk it but haven't a clue about the finer nuts-and-bolts. To conclude value was top-notch so if you can see past the small forecourt and rough edges - this place is superb!
I have never been to a car sales garage like that in my life before and hope I never will again, poor service and very hard selling tactics, not allowed to test drive a car unless you almost promise your going to take it make that of what you will.

Hi, We are very sorry to hear of your experience. I can only apologise for what happened to you. Unfortunately the car which you were interested in had only just come in part exchange and hadn't been valeted. We were extremely busy on the day that you visited with some staff off sick so the valeters were helping out with the viewings. We have now upgraded our company insurance in reference to test drives. If you would like to come back to look at any cars i will personally make sure that you have a good experience. We sell 100 cars a month and 99% of these customers are happy. Kind Regards Simon 01752 876715
