I bought a car 3 weeks ago from this company and the day after I bought it the engine light came on. In fairness he was good and asked me to take the car to his mechanic which I did. Claimed it was due to me using supermarket petrol and not premium petrol!! It was fixed and I put premium petrol in. Within 2 more days the same thing happened again!! Took the car back and his mechanic had another look at it! Ordered a part while I waited and repaired it again. Three car seemed to be ok for the past 2.5 weeks and then the engine light came on again and I lost power to the car on the road. I managed to limp to a nearby car park where I called for recovery and tried to contact JA Motors to complain and tell them I want to return the car for a refund as it is unsatisfactory. I’ve not had the car 30 days and there has been an engine problem on 3 separate occasions. He claims he’s away til 28th Nov and sort the car when he returns. That will conveniently take it past the 30 days! On top of all of that, they had spray painted black paint in the boot to hide the fact that the previous owner had had dogs and it was covered in dog hair and apparently smells of dogs. I have no sense of smell but the guy who valeted it for me told me so! I’vm now taking legal advice. These are cowboys don’t waste your money on them.

Luckily I refused to take the car! But.. they are Refusing to give me back my deposit which they asked for in cash! When I went to pick up the car the sat nav didn't work after telling me it needed updating, then I needed to plug my phone into it then I needed a usb stick for it then I needed to pay a subscription it turns out it needs a whole new 1 which means anew head until. The the brakes were terrible & the wipers didn't even touch the windscreen (automatic MOT fail). I asked for my money back the tall 1 "Sam" got very aggressive, abusive & threatened myself & children. Ja told us we couldn't prove we gave him cash so he won't give us it back. I'm speaking with others who have No Car as sat on their drive broken after a few days & No money as they say we can shove our legal rights as they don't apply to them & court will take years! They clearly do this regularly!! Their so called warranty they give means Nothing. Auto trader hasn't posted any of our reviews. Please do your reach before you part with your hard earned money!!

Within just ten days of owning the car, the engine suddenly stopped working. To my disbelief, I had only driven a mere 120 miles since the purchase. As the car was supposed to be under warranty, I reached out to JA Motors for assistance. However, instead of receiving any form of support, I was met with aggression and hostility. The staff at JA Motors were not only uncooperative but shockingly rude. They yelled at me, refusing to take responsibility for the car's malfunction. Despite paying the full amount in cash, as per their request, they were unwilling to make any efforts to repair the vehicle. This level of disregard for their customers is simply unacceptable. In light of their lack of accountability and the complete absence of customer service, I had no choice but to sell the car as scrap for a measly £300. This left me with a significant financial loss, as the initial purchase price was £1800. My intention in writing this review is to warn potential car buyers about the deceptive practices of JA Motors. It is evident that they are fake dealers, and their claims of providing warranties and guarantees are outright lies. They lure customers in with enticing descriptions, only to leave them stranded with faulty vehicles and no support. I implore you to steer clear of JA Motors and their fraudulent tactics. STAY CLEAR at all costs!!! Absolutely disgraceful company, never have I ever came across a more unprofessional, dodgy, falsifier of a company. Upon inquiring about a vehicle I was told the car was mint absolutely stunning and worth the 4 HOUR trip I would have to undertake to view the car. However 5 minutes before getting to the original address I was given they called to change the destination, I had to meet them in only what I can describe as a back alley, dark and unlit which was my first red flag, and it only got worse as upon inspection of the car I noticed it was badly damaged down the back wing (which was not mentioned prior) he blamed this on age related mark which was comical, the car was also covered in marks and dinks, the side mirror was smashed, the brakes had gone, interior was disgusting, as well as many many more problems, they also weren't able to provide proof of apparent work that had been previously done on the vehicle! Vile disgusting people, fabricating lies in order to lure people in to buy their cars, they should feel ashamed of themselves, but I suppose they'd actually have to be decent people in order to feel any sort of guilt!
I bought a Suzuki Splash from this dealer a couple of months ago - great little car, great px deal on my old car, and friendly & courteous service from owner. Couldn't be happier with experience, and delighted to give dealer highest possible recommendation.

I would not recommend J.A MOTORS LTD because he wasn't honest also lied to get the sale. I ask him many times is there anything to tell me before I come and see the car as I had to drive 250miles to go and see the car but he told me that everything is fine. Once I got there the mirror was broken which was not clear in the picture and he never mentioned it to me. Inside the car was not in good condition and was dirty. SERVICE LIGHT WAS ON AND HE NEVER MENTIONED IT IN THE ADVERTISE. He pushed me to pay some deposit and so I did mistake and paid him 200pound as I was not quite sure that I am gone get the car or not and I told him that I may call you and ask you to withdraw the sale. Next day early morning I called him and I asked for my deposit back and he said I m not gone pay your deposit as you wasted my time.
