First time purchaser from J and M specialist cars Had minor problem with the vehicle shortly after buying and had to contact the garage - found the staff very good and they succeeded in resolving my problem efficiently, much appreciated. Would have awarded 5stars but was a bit unhappy to be hit with surcharge when buying my vehicle initially due to using my debit card for the payment - apparently there is a notice displayed behind the sales desk but I had failed to see this - though I now understand other garages have this policy too Overall a satisfactory buying experience and I would buy from again

Had 3 cars from J & M Specialist Cars now. Freelander, Disco 3 and Disco 4. No problems with any of them. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Purchased a car from J & M Specialist Cars. Picked car up on the way home the Esp lights came on. The car had just had an mot test carried out with no advisories. On the way home the EPS warning light came on. On checking past test history I found a number of issues. These defects were found by a friend of mine who checked the car over (he is a mechanic). He also found a number of faults that were test failures. Would not go back to this dealership they are dangerous. Trading standards informed.

Hello Bought a warrior pick up from J & M Specialist Cars. Needed an mot before we took it home all issues that arose were taken care of by the garage which were minor I was a little concerned that a light came on after we bought this. This took it back no hassle fixed it no problem as they knew we carried children and I wanted peace of mind when driving and letting my older son drive Had fantastic service. I can't say any other. I have read other reviews these do not reflect the service I was given and I can only speak as I find. Would totally recommend. Just had service second to none and wouldn't hesitate to go straight there for my next purchase. They will be my first stop and I will recommend to all family and friends.

Bought a car from J and M Specialist Cars and the car was not serviced and was making all sorts of noises. When approached the dealer said they would help but kept the car for three weeks and lied to me about the problems. Eventually got the car back and it still had not been serviced. I had the car inspected by an independent mechanic and there was a list of problems as long as my arm some major some minor. The car went back again they only did one of the problems. Got the car back and it started making strange noises as the pulley bearings collapsed. Car has sat on my drive for 5 weeks while finance look to recover my deposit. Odometer wasn't regestering mileage. Avoid at all costs.
