My daughter bought a car --- I was waiting in for it to be delivered whilst she was in work. It took 4 hours for the car to be delivered. My daughter was ringing the driver as I needed to be somewhere and didn't want to miss him. He was very rude to my daughter on the phone - so I rang and was the exact same with me. He was angry from the second I rang, He said he was lost -- I asked if he had the correct post code for his Sat Nav - he quoted it wrong. When I replied with the correct one he said 'with respect.... that is what I meant, don't correct me. When he eventually arrived - he would not wait for me to check the car -- he threw the papers at me and swore at me saying 'I have already missed 2 F...ing trains I'm not waiting any longer. --- I walked to the bottom of my driveway and told him to leave. He replied something about not to tell him what to do as he has more money than me and can do what he wants. I have since rang the police.

Got a car from James Shepherd of Hebden Bridge, never been fit for purpose had the car 8 months! It’s spent more time back in the garage than with me!! Certainly not safe to use! Thank god we are now deep into the legal action!

Bought a car from James Shepherd of Hebden Bridge and realised there was an issue straight away. Brought it back and they agreed to fix it. Since then they have had the car 3 or 4 times each time failing to fix the issue. They then tried to suggest the issue didn't exist, that it was in our imagination, that it was because we were poor drivers, etc. Finally we drove with Graham the sales guy in the car and he admitted there was an issue. They now want us to pay someone to else to fix it and then tell them about it? They won't accept the car back and refund us even though we have had legal advice that we have a right to do this because we brought it back with a fault within two weeks of purchasing the car. We now are stuck with a car that has a fault that we either pay to fix or try and sell but will lose money because of the fault. The only other option is to take legal action against the garage. This has the been the most stressful experience and has upset us a lot. I am pregnant and not comfortable driving this car and really do not need the additional stress and financial burden to fix a car which was sold as fully working. Really disappointing customer service we basically feel we have been robbed. I would not trust these people they are very friendly until something goes wrong and then the tactic is to keep fobbing you off in the hope that you go away.
