Jamie rabin is untrustworthy conniving and totally corrupt. Do not ever EVER buy anything from this individual or trust him!! Absolute vermin and total sociopath- rips off everyone who is unfortunate enough to cross his path for whatever he can get. Stay away at all costs. Rabin was recently prosecuted in court but that case just the tip of the iceberg. I'm amazed he is still walking around to be honest- he is a total and utter disgrace

He did my dying stepdad out of nearly £1000. 3 checks bounced I tried taking him to the small claims court they are a waste of time if this is the same jamie rabin who ust to live in Starcross Exeter. My stepdad died without ever getting his money.

Bought an Audi A4 Avant, fraught with problems including a clutch that went completely. Was told it was covered under warranty but never received any compensation and they blocked my phone number! AVOID!

I bought a car in March this year, and already paid over 2000£ for fixing the car.
MOT was promissed of 12 months when we buy the car, but never been done.
dont answer phone calls.
Sent a letter of complaints, and never got back with the answer.
People like this should be stopped!!

He is bankrupt should not be trading . Taxman cant find him. He pays no tax . Spends money on himself.
Was suppose to pay staff but left them with nothing over christmas!!!

As above. Promised paperwork but no service history ever supplied in spite of regular phone calls.. Van HQ promised to sort bald tyres but never did. He got quite nasty on the phone. Definitely a dealer to avoid. He is now operating out of the wharves at totnes.

Bought van I'm Feb that needed some bits fixing and we are still waiting 3 months later. Phone calls not answered and no one at garage when we go there. Not sure what to do.

Jamie Rabin currently has at least two court cases against him due to selling poor quality vehicles and not fulfilling his legal obligations.. Google "around the south Devon courts 05.04.17" you will find the details (near the bottom of the article). Contact Citizens Advice Bureau, not only can they guide you through your legal rights, they also pass all the information on to Trading Standards. Stay persistent, record everything, and obtain proof of postage (doesn't have to be recorded delivery). Good luck x

Bought van from Jamie Devob, no spare wheel. He told me he would buy one and send it. This never happened. He even told me when it was going to be delivered another lie. Do not trust him. Spend you money with a good dealer, not Jamie Devob or Van HQ.

I got a BMW from this guy in September 2016 broke down on way home he said we will sort it and four months down the line it still not working, he hangs up on me or don't answer my calls or emails not helpful guy so today I filled to court to get my money back, don't buy from Jamie Devob or Van HQ.

He has previously been - Jamie Rabin t/a Van HQ Totnes, Jamie Rabin t/a Finish Hand Car Wash Dawlish. Recurring themes are - hidden issues with vehicles, lack of paperwork, ignores phone calls, regularly changing names. You are not the only one taking him to court.

I purchased a van form this dealership in August. The dealers have not been very helpful at all and the vehicle has had issues which the dealers are not willing to help with. I would not recommend this dealership.
