We purchased our car back in August 2020. Well understandable during pandemic, weird but purchase experience was fine. Everything and all bad experience came later. At purchase point was agreed that Sales assistant will book us in for installation of CarPlay with Braybrooks, when we will have time. Month and a half later, we contacted our Sales advisor, to do the installation of CarPlay and to rectify damage on the back of the car, which was presented on point if sale (we were promised that day when we will collect the car this will be fixed, but it wasn't) and also to do a wheel alignment, our own initiative. We first contacted MB Lakeside on 6th of October 2020 and booked appointment for wheel alignment for 12/11/2020. In the meantime we were contacting our Sales adviser to book rest of the issues to be fixed. And agreed with him that wheel alignmen will be done earlier than 12/11/2020 as he was able to fit us in, and arrange Braybrooks CarPlay installation done on 09/11/2020. So happy everything can be finally rectified. We agreed the day, and it was well difficult. As we live far away, we agreed to drop car on the 8th of November 2020 at MB Lakeside on Sunday But hey ho... We arrived to MB Lakeside at 11am, and guess what's happened? The dealership was closed. Gates closed. Noone is waiting for us, no emails or phone calls to tell us that they are closed. We drove 35 miles one way, we wasted time and nerves. We called customer service same day, and they told us that we are not booked for anything. And that there is no information at all about our arrival, we put a Complain over the phone, and been promised that Manager of MB Lakeside will contact us ASAP, but it's been 9 months, and we haven't heard back anything. Not even apologies. It's absolutely unacceptable behaviour from all staff including managerial positions not to react on Complaints. I understand the Pandemic situation and etc, but not to respond on complaint, not try to contact customer that appointment is cancelled or something like that shows very bad customer service. I would never recommend anyone MB Lakeside. As 9 months later we still have ongoing issues, which has not been fixed, AT POINT OF SALE in August 2020.

Lies, Lies and more Lies, said they had ordered a part needed for my car, 8 weeks later having told me that it is still in Germany, it transpires it's in stock and sitting on a shelf with no allocation, they couldn't even transfer an internal call and when having to call again, they couldn't put me through...a bunch of disengaged employees who are not aware of the dealerships core values...joke?
We were welcomed to the Mercedes family when we bought our B class in Jan 2020. Two recalls later we have got a warning light come up. I take these seriously and checked what it means. To Mercedes Lakeside it needs a repair and they will do it in September!!! Our local garage, very dependable but sadly do not sell cars, can do it in a week but even though we still in warranty Mercedes will not pay to get the repair done earlier. We live in Essex and they recommend a visit to Dartford.
I booked a test drive. I spoke to some salespeople and all seemed well. I spent 20 minutes driving to and from my appointment only to be told "nothing is on the system". I was then kept waiting before being told I would not be test driving a vehicle that day and they could book me in for another day. They could have just told me over the phone or via email to save me turning up for the appointment. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Steer clear of this Mercedes! I’ve heard lots of stories about this particular dealer, but after actually experiencing the lies they tell. They would actually put you in a car that could be very dangerous and actually not care. Every single one of them lies through their teeth! Avoid at any cost if you do not want a stressful experience!
Service was brilliant staff were friendly and reassuring would highly recommend.
I had a service plan with Lakeside and was treated very well by showroom staff. I was advised that my front brakes would need renewing in a few months so I booked it in. After getting into my car had to call the workshop out as they had forgotten reset my service reminder which was 332 days. A minor issue. Then after driving my car the was an awful banging noise coming from the front of my car. I was going away the next day so when I got back took my car in and they checked it and said they couldn't find anything but would book me in for 2 weeks time to put on a diagnostic at a cost of £176.I said I was frightened to drive it as the banging was so loud. I was told as long as my steering wheel didn't shake or brakes fail I would be ok. If this happened to call the +44 number in my drivers door. I left very worried. A friend of the family took my passengers front wheel off and said the spring holding the brake pad onto the calliper had not been put on and couldn't have fallen off as they are clipped on. I went back to Mercedes who first of all said they were to busy to look at my car but after getting angry they took my car around to the work shop and put a new spring on. I was told there would be an investigation into this and they new who did the work on my car and advised me they wouldn't charge for the new clip. Absolute joke, goodness only knows what might of happened had I kept driving my car. I have been told since a diagnostic report was for electrical and clearly that wasn't my cars problem, just a way of getting more money. It is a shame because the ladies on reception are lovely but the technicians and workshop let the company down. Have informed customer services who have got back to me to say Lakeside are telling a different story, of course they have, can't admit such a terrible error. PLEASE BE AWARE WHEN USING THIS BRANCH,THE WORKSHOP ARE VERY SHODDY.

I made an appointment at the Mercedes Lakeside with Bassem to look at an E-Class coupe. I have done a lot of research already and I know this is the car I wanted. I wanted someone to explain to spec options and look at the finance options with me however Bassem was less interested in selling me a car. He spoke to me for 2 mins asking me about what car I like and then showed me a car and that was it. When I asked about a test drive he said they don’t do test drives on Sunday but this wasn’t told to me when I asked for the test drive at booking (I was told to bring in my licence). There was no follow up appointments made to discuss finance options/ test drive. I felt Bassem had no interest selling a car to me, I was very disappointed with Mercedes. This morning I then took a day off and contacted Mercedes Loughton (who is owned by Mercedes) who helped me and I have purchased my E-Class for £50K.
Received the RECALL letter from Mercedes (31.01.2020). Tried to call Lakeside Merc. dealer to book recall service since 08:30. The phone were answered only at 13:24. Line was constantly busy. Then been told, that they are unable to do RECALL service on Saturday. As this is not a customer created problem, then why we should wasting our working day, money and the time, to come during the week for one hour magic RECALL fix??? Been purchasing Mercedes for many years. This is second recall during last 6 months. Considering to sell fully loaded vehicle and purchase more reliable one from the Company, which hasn't got the RECALL records. Very dissatisfied with the Merc service. Tried to make complain, has been transferred to the main Merc office, were being put on hold for another 15 minutes, till gave-up waiting completely. What a joke!
