After having some work done on my car early 2024 at Tamworth Audi, it was returned to me with a loud clicking sound from the engine area. The sound had not been there before. I reported this to Tamworth Audi who performed some initial analysis at time of MOT but needed the car booked in for more detailed diagnostics. The earliest this could happen was 4 September 2024 to provide me with a courtesy car. Initially the communication from the service advisor, Ryan Smith, at Tamworth Audi was atrocious. I was constantly lied to by Ryan. Since complaining I have now been dealing with Claire Hughes and the communication has greatly improved. Unfortunately, and now almost 5 months later, Tamworth Audi have not been able to resolve the issue they introduced to my car and now appear to have run out of ideas. In the latest communication they have tried to fob the problem back on to me. The options they suggested were either they gave the car back to me in its current state (i.e. not fixed) or they could hold on to it and *maybe* they could think of something else to try, but this would be dealt with as a low priority task (6-12 months’ timescale suggested). Please be aware of giving Tamworth Audi your business. Despite them introducing the issue with my car they are now attempting to screw me over!

In order to reserve a viewing i placed a deposit of £500 on an Audi A5 Coupe with Stratstone Audi Tamworth . The car was advertised and still is ! on 06/01/2025 as having 8k miles on arrival this was found to be 16k + . On arrival the car was not available as it had a flat tyre, the car also had several chips with one of those on the passenger door being significant On receipt of the sales documents i requested that the mileage be corrected . I received no response to this request and therefore contacted the Sales Manager who undertook to respond by close of business that day . To this day the documentation has not been changed and the car is still on the internet with the incorrect mileage . At this point i decided to withdraw from the sale and requested that my deposit be returned . I informed Stratstone Audi on the 29/12 /2024 that i did not wish to proceed with the transaction as of today 07/01/2025 i have not received a response despite requesting a response on several occasions . The sales manager has avoided any communication i have therefore attempted to escalate it within the Stratstone organisation. As per a previous customer review i deeply regret my involvement with Stratstone Audi Tamworth , the service is poor , the communication is dreadful and there is a complete lack of ownership . I would advise any potential customers to look elsewhere .

I deeply regret buying my car from Tamworth Audi. The service is poor, the communication is extremely weak and their morality around supporting you when there is a problem with the car is appalling. It is no surprise that this dealership is ranked in the bottom 30 of all dealerships in the UK!!! I just wish I had visited this website before I had walked across their showroom. I have had several issues since buying the car but to summarise, on far too many occasions the phone was never answered, emails went unread or the most frustrating aspect being "We will get back to you" and they never do. When my car developed a major fault it was blamed on my driving and now I am left with a significant bill. I will not be visiting or recommending Audi Tamworth to anyone.
I never write bad reviews, but this is necessary to advise others to avoid this dealership if you want good customer service. As others have written below, calls aren’t answered, calls aren’t returned and in our case a deposit was not returned for almost a month. To get it back took 10+ phone conversations (not including the ones that the branch didn’t answer) plus escalation through Jardine head office. Sadly, the whole team need customer services training - they either didn’t know how to check the status of the refund, how to process it at all, or completely lied saying it had been processed when it hadn’t. Thankfully we purchased elsewhere and had great customer service (Solihull).

Can’t give zero stars sadly! I purchased a Q5 from Tamworth 6 months old. First issue they forgot I was coming to collect it. Second issue they promised a full tank of petrol they forgot it. Third issue I was overcharged as they forgot to take off the deposit. After numerous calls and emails I got £500 of my money back after 1 month of hounding. Fourth issue I discovered some faults the boot liner was badly damaged I was told 4 weeks max for replacement… still waiting and no one has contacted me to say it’s arrived. 5th issue discovered the knee rest on drivers was broken and also a paint chip. Sent pics and asked them to sort. Spoke eventually to Dave who said it all could be done at the same time. After 3 months I have an oil leak which has stained the drive. Phoned and they said they would call me back same day. Nothing. Sent 5 emails in the evening. No response in the morning. Eventually got hold of Dale and clearly he wasn’t happy to hear from me. I said I’d like to make a formal complaint he said need to speak to Craig but said he won’t call you back in a hurry! I spent over an hour this morning on the phone being passed from one department to another. NEVER EVER buy from Audi! Particularly Tamworth. We were going to buy another one but forget it. Seems customer service is non existent. The best out of this was driver assist most helpful person I’d buy a car off him! Now we have a copy and paste answer!! I left a message for this guy to contact me and if you look the answers are all the same!!!!! I left my phone number today but you couldn’t be bothered as I’m not important obviously as Dale suggested. I think you should call me not me call you as I’ve tried it that way! I’m the customer.

I would like to thank Audi Tamworth for assisting us when we realised we had forgotten our power cable for our Audi E-Tron Q4. We struggled to find a compatible charger in the local vicinity, and when we approached the very helpful ladies on reception they guided us to Shannon who couldn't do enough for us. Top quality service.
Over 6 weeks ago we paid a £500 deposit to test drive a newly new Audi A4. We decided not to buy the car. We have now phoned 5 times about the deposit not being refunded. On 5 occasions we were told some one would get back to us. They haven't and neither has our money been returned. Appalling customer service. No stars given for quick resolution of issues.

I am currently going through exactly the same process . I placed a deposit but decided not to proceed and 3 weeks later still waiting for them to re imburse me
I don't know where to start with this dealership. avoid this garage at all costs, I put a refundable £250 deposit down on a vehicle, decided not to buy, was told refund will be issued back within 5 working days, Not the case at all!! after various emails and phone calls even to the sales manager, been thrown from pillar to post promising it will be there that day, 2 weeks later and still nothing. now going through claims court to get my deposit back. ignoring Emails and not returning calls when requested, so unprofessional for an Audi garage, they are a disgrace to the Jardine group.
I would strongly encourage anyone thinking of buying from this dealership to re-consider. We have recently been sold a car that had issues known the dealership that were not disclosed to us during the sale. Having issues after buying a car is one thing but when you find out these problems were known to the sales team before selling you the car you feel exploited. There is a deceitful culture at this dealership. You will only be able to get hold of anyone when buying a car. Afterwards, your calls will not be returned and you will be ignored. We are now £25k down, our car has been stuck in the garage for weeks and we are unable to resolve as we cannot make contact with anyone at Audi Tamworth 😞 we are really upset about this (espcaially as this happened shortly after a traumatic car accident hence needing a new car) and we would hate for others to go through a similar experience when paying a significant amount of money for a car.
