I have purchased all my vehicles (mainly audi) from Jays New Nelson Garage and have had no problems. I purchased E Class Merc from Jays for my daughter last week. I would highly recommend Jays and not listen to all the negative attitude people have when something goes wrong! The best thing is you can ring them and tell them which vehicle and spec you are after and they will get it for you. They also give you a one to one service. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY !!!!!!!!!!!
Car from Jays New Nelson Garage cost me a lot of money. The brakes failed on motorway, Jay himself delivers the car to me the night before and never said a thing about the brakes. I had to replace the front and rear brake disc and pads, the shocks rear leaking, the steering rack worn so had to get it inspected by an independent garage. And finally got the finance company to agree the return of the car and settle the finance... even then Jay lied to them and said I told the recovery driver to go away when I told them I have 24/7 CCTV and they can have a copy and see nobody came to my door, another load of lies. Things got sorted. Keep clear and save your money.
Faulty automatic gearbox in second hand car, no effort made by dealership to resolve so had to issue proceedings in the County Court, successful.
Really happy with our car brought on finance from Jays New Nelson Garage. It was so easy and straight forward, would highly recommend.
No problems at all, the sale was quick and easy like any sale should be, I knew what I was looking for and they had a car that fit the bill. The salesman was a genuine bloke who kept things simple. Jays New Nelson Garage are definitely worthy of a recommendation.

This was my first time buying from a car dealership as I've always bought privately so I haven't got much to compare the experience to but everything went really well, the staff were nice and the car that I bought was a Vauxhall and it hasn't had any faults or anything so I'd say they were a good place to buy a car from.

First of all I will start this review for Jays New Nelson Garage by saying that I would recommend them having bought a car a couple of months ago. The car was a little scuffed up compared to the picture but it runs great, they were really helpful on the day and they taxed the car for me and everything. I have not had contact with the dealership since getting my car from here because I have has no problems.

I bought a used BMW X3 in May from Jays New Nelson Garage. Had a great deal and they completed everything efficiently and as promised. They also did a number plate change over so I could keep my private plates. I will be going back when I want to change in future but will not be for some time as I am really happy with the car. I would recommend to anyone wanting to deal with an honest garage with honest people which is hard to find in this day and age.
Sold me a car that had a faulty gearbox that was only discovered after I had traveled 400 miles to buy it. I even fueled it up for the journey home and got no refund for this. In total it cost me £400 in air fares, trains and taxis oh also the diesel I put in the car. AVOID Jays New Nelson Garage.
