July 2020, clutch went on Honda Civic SR, bought brand new, July 2019. 8,300 miles on the clock. Towed to Honda Ashford by AA. Hire car provided. Never had an issue with the clutch in over 40 years of driving, Contact Honda HEAD OFFICE, which in itself is an absolute nightmare, as under warranty I thought they would sort it out... WRONG...woman I spoke to was rude, offensive, obstructive unhelpful and refused to put me through to management to speak to someone else...then cut me off...several attempts to get beyond this stage were all terminated...said it wasn’t covered, not a fault with the car, it was my driving, took away hire car immediately, Friday afternoon, begged them to investigate further and not to withdraw hire car as a front line worker, Nursing sister...in the middle of the Covid pandemic , I live in a small village on my own with no access to a means to get to work. Went back to Honda Ashford, absolutely desperate and shocked at the attitude and management of such a so called ‘reliable’ car manufacturer...on looking up reviews on Honda service from the head offices it is beyond appalling...1star is generous...but you can’t give no stars!...Honda Ashford however...5 stars ... the personnel and management of the circumstances went a step beyond and sorted it all out themselves. THATS why having a good dealership when you buy an expensive item like a new car is crucial. WOULD I RECOMMEND HONDA ASHFORD .... 100% YES....and I can say it’s not just based on this incident...I bought new from them before and always received excellent care...my son has a Type R Civic and won’t have anyone else touch it ... coming down from London purely because of the level of care and service offered by Honda Ashford. THANK YOU so much.

Purchased a used vehicle clerical errors on invoice and incorrect information on multi point check list relating to the service history. Would suggest that you check all the paperwork very carefully before you purchase from JCB Honda.

My new Honda HRV was delivered last week with incorrect number plates & a faulty seat. Within an hour of delivery I had to visit my local dealer to have the correct plates put on & arrange for a new seat under warranty. Not what you expect to have to do with a brand new car. Even though I was assured the car had been thoroughly checked beforehand, it obviously wasn't. I have spoken to the branch manager who has since apologised. Was not going to leave a review but on reflection I have to say how disappointed I am with Honda at Ashford.
