We saw the car on auto trader as low mileage and in excellent condition, on arriving we were shown a 11.5k mileage used exchanged honda hrv, on inspecting the car I noticed quite significant scratches all round, a golf ball size dent on the rear corner er and the bumper heavily scuffed, I pointed this out to the sales rep and agreed that this will be put right so decided to leave a £500 deposit, no receipt for the deposit given or paperwork of the transaction, I didn't think anything of it as I was informed I will receive an email to log onto portal to rmdownload paperwork , which I did but non of them were to do with the car! So I called and they forwarded me a document, again not the receipt or agreement, by the 4th day I decided to cancel, I asked for the deposit back. Since then now almost three weeks they have stopped responding and will not refund Mr back my deposit.

I feel that Jemca Edgware Road are not offering the quality of service that might even be considered adequate. They make it feel like once you’ve purchased their obligation is fulfilled and have a very cavalier attitude towards their customers. After test driving and speaking to one of their sales persons, Melvyn Weekes, I agreed to purchase a Used Dealer Approved Toyota RAV4 Hybrid on a 68plate. He completed the paperwork on Monday and I was told the car was to be ‘prepared’ before I can take it home 3 days later on Thursday evening. I paid for the car as per his request and asked him to keep me informed on the timeline for the collection of the car. He didn't reply to emails or phone calls till a few days later. On the collection day, I called to make sure and was told that he wasn’t working that day but one of his colleagues will be there to do the handover of the vehicle. On arriving for collection, the car was not fully ‘prepared’, the service history and the MOT records were not present and the interior detailing not done satisfactorily to car dealer standard. His colleague told me that he has spoken to his ‘manager’ and that I should come back tomorrow (Friday) to collect the car. I was told that somebody will call me. On Friday another colleague of his, Kaviyan called to say the car is ready for collection. It took another 3 hours for final delivery of the car with the jack spanner missing. (I had to pay for the spanner on Kaviyan’s insistence and am still waiting for a refund) I had to call and email on multiple times and each time I called or emailed on the status of the various pending documentation and refund, I was told Melvyn would call me back (they gave me so many excuses; he was with a client, he was in a meeting, he wasn’t working that day… just to name a few...) sometime he would response. Do NOT use this dealership! They are dishonest, unreliable and have very poor customer service….
