We have recently done a deal on 2 vehicles with Jemm motor company and have to say are very pleased with the service they provided. A family business run by Craig and Nicola along with Paul all couldn't have been more attentive and helpful getting to where we needed to be with both vehicles. Bought a Ford mondeo from Jemm Motor Company in April 2018, car broke down on slip road after 3 days, jemm motors couldn't of been more helpful at first and gave me my old car back as a curtisy car they even offered me a nicer car but I declined as they told me my car was getting fixed in 2 weeks. Car couldn't be fixed and I was told it needed a new engine. They told me they would try to find me a n new car. Several weeks later the deal was called off. I was promised a full refund it took 7 weeks of constant harassment to get my money back. Craig (manager) was never available to speak to, never called me back, was constantly told money was on its way the rest of the staff tried to help or just acted like they were totally clueless. Ended up having to get small claims court involved which left me out of pocket.

Hi Nuala, The mondeo you bought was taken to ford after you broke down. Ford agreed to replace the engine as it was a 1.6 Ecoboost engine that they have been having problems with. We supplied you with a courtesy car and after chasing ford it took several weeks. But we offered a full refund as we didn’t want you to wait any longer. The reason why the payment took slightly longer was the fact that you asked us to refund you too much as we had given you your car back which you didn’t take into account. We also compensated you for your wait and fuel. Kindest Regards.

I bought a BMW from Jemm Motor Company in January. I drove it home and lights came on to indicate problems with the car I phoned the garage and took it back then said they will fix it. 1 week later I get the car back it started off okay as I was just getting nearly home the faults came on again. I phoned the garage and they said they will fix it. My car went to them in Jan to be fixed I got it back start of March. Promised it was fixed and so much had been done to it and cost them lots to fix it. I never got any proof of what they did. I then couldn't drive the car for 6 weeks after they dropped it back as I had just had a baby by section and you can't drive for 6 weeks. Once I could I did. Only to find out it was still broken!!!! We left voicemails for them to call us back but never had. I wouldn't trust this car garage or there mechanic. I had the car looked at by another garage and there is the same fault wrong with the car that they said they have replaced and fixed thats what took so long.. .. hmmm. DONT BUY A CAR FROM THEM OR THE WARRANTY IF THE CAR IS OVER 5 YEARS OLD! ITS NOT WORTH THE PAPER ITS WRITTEN ON!!!

WOW!! That's a surprise as we paid over £650 for a repair as you declined our offer of a refund..And whilst your car was in for repair with a third party we provided you with a courtesy car. Once the vehicle was repaired we then delivered it back to you with flowers for the delay. What i can't understand is that we spoke with you 2 weeks ago over your car tax and nothing was mentioned about any further problems..We have not received any emails or phonecalls since the last repair regarding any issues. I'm afraid that I agree with the low ratings of some of the reports that appear below. I bought a car from Jemm Motors, Wigan, which turned out to have two rear tyres that had been run flat and damaged beyond repair such that they were not only illegal but also dangerous. I had a 4 hour drive to get home after buying the car (which the salesman knew), and I subsequently found out that both rear tyres were leaking air from the rim as a result of having previously been run flat and damaged. The next day, one had gone completely flat. The salesman had told me after I got home that he had found an empty tyre-inflation can in the boot when they acquired the car. Whilst I accept that the actual condition of the rear tyres was not known to the salesman, I felt that the presence of the empty can might reasonably have prompted a check of the inside of the tyres before declaring the car safe to drive. I therefore did not fully accept their claims of complete ignorance about the tyres, and asked if they might agree to provide me some financial help to replace them. The salesman I spoke to (who had also sold me the car) refused to do so, which of course was his right - and ultimately I had to accept that. My concern, however, was with the treatment I received when I asked if they would help me: I was met with an aggressive response, a complete unwillingness to appreciate that I had driven away in a car that turned out to be in a potentially dangerous condition, and, when I continued with the discussion in a calm and reasonable manner, I was told: "I don't have to put up with this shit!" I was told forcefully and confidently by the salesman when I bought the car that it was 'really clean' and great example etc etc, but I'm afraid I now doubt the company's claim that their cars are carefully checked. The fact that I later discovered there was no jack or wheel brace also suggested to me that any check was cursory at best. I fully appreciate that the car is old, has done 110,000 miles - and in the circumstances is actually in pretty good shape generally, so it is a pity that the salesman chose to be so rude, aggressive and defensive to one of his customers; it is very poor customer service and automatically makes you distrust the company. I would not buy another car from Jemm Motors as a result.

Hi James, the golf VR6 Ltd Edition you bought for less than £2000 was Mot’d and was in good working order. You was also supplied with a 6mth Premium Warranty for peace of mind. You agreed for the price that the tyres you would change in the next 6mths as for you getting a puncture on the way home we can not be held responsible for that sorry. Also the fact you tried to blackmail us if we didn’t buy you a new tyre is terrible.We will not tolerate abuse or blackmail.
I recommend Jemm Motor Company. I bought a Honda from them which has been spot on and when I picked it up it was in great condition. I came across them on Autotrader when I saw the Honda at a good price!

Sold me a car that had a list of issues as long as my arm, briefly helpful to sort the cheapest isssues but this accounted to nothing. If it wasn't for the finance company, it would have left me very much out of pocket. As nice as they we're on the collection of the car, the fact that they sold me a car that should NEVER have gone through MOT means that I would never recommend this garage to anyone.

He purchased a Ford Fiesta S1600s from JEMM Motor Company, the vehicle was fully advertised on the AutoTrader with a Full Stainless Steel exhaust and upon enquiring on the vehicle this was outlined again to him. Upon collection, the finance representative was present to which he expressed that he had spoken to the previous customer regarding the history of the vehicle and was happy to continue with his purchase. He did contact us regarding the a couple of minor issues which were resolved between ourselves. He claimed numerously he was unaware of the exhaust system fitted to the vehicle however, this information relayed in his review is false.
I would not purchase the Vauxhall corsa 1.7 cdti Sri Reg:BV58 XTM as this vehicle made me extremely ill due to carbon fumes from the exhaust is entering in side the vehicle .These facts are shown on the last two Mot as a a minor/major leak .The Vauxhall corsa has a lot of problems which jemm motor company are not telling customers .i had purchased the car previously and returned due to this issue and since then Jemm motor company have been extremely rude telling me to fuck off etc as I told them I'm going to take legal action as this car is dangerous and as the MOT for this car has fraudulently been produced to hide the major facts .I have documents from Vauxhall and Halfords explaining all the issue and the price to fix all the problems which will cost more than what he cars is worth .Jemm motor company told me the car has recently had a new engine costing 500 however no facts as there is still the same issues .The Vauxhall corsa should be scraped as it's a health risk .Jemm motor company was not helpful with all these issues and I personally would purchase any vehicles from them . if anyone would like to contact my regarding any factor about this car then feel free I will leave my contact number :07520 629462.

This customer purchased the vehicle over 12 months ago and was refunded his FULL money back and the vehicle was returned back to JEMM Motor Company. The vehicle was rectified and was resold. It has recently come back into stock with no reporting faults. Mr Barret, you have never been sworn at over the phone - this a complete and utter a lie as all our incoming and outgoing calls are recorded. You continue telephone JEMM Motor Company and the calls are now being monitored and are being reported to the police as nuisance calls. I don't understand why you are putting reviews on now when you are no longer in ownership of the vehicle and was refunded over a year ago, I find this extremely strange behavior.
