Bought a car from this merchant and boy oh boy what a nightmare, the ignorance of these people is outstanding, and by all the bad reviews I am not alone, Trading Standards are now involved like so many other people, why do people like this think they can get away with doing this to hard working folk. Its a disgrace, please stay well away from JGM Motors in Durham!!!!!!!

Dear Mr Ken Bampton, As we both know, you were offered a full refund for this vehicle within 24 hours of purchase. You declined this offer, and so we then offered to repair the door handle on your car, and even offered to send a fitter to your property to do the repair. You even confirmed by email that you would deliver the vehicle to our local garage for repair to door handle, and then did not take the car to the garage. We have tried at all times to address your issues, but you have refused our sensible offers of help. JGM Motors Ltd.

mmmmm lets just review jgm motors reply to user ken comments ! they say they offered a full refund which the guy refused? then a qualified repair which again they say this guy refused? please jgm give us some credit why in the world would this guy or anyone else for this matter refuse your offer of a full refund lol because it didn't happen perhaps ,have you no shame ?

I used to work in the trade I know his rights on inspection of the car it's not just one repair needed the car has a significant amount of condensation in it leading to other problems Ken is within his rights to a full refund I know this will not happen until it goes to court and then for the Good of the public this man should be stopped from trading do the right thing jgm give the man a refund.

Dear JGM Motors You know as well as I that no refund has been offered to me as it would certainly have been excepted, and within 24 hours of collecting your car in that time period I was away at work for 4 days and your car was on my drive where I might add it's been since the 15/1/16. Also you were informed that I was advised not to drive your car by Trading Standards. Hence no repairs have been carried out,if your supposed offer stands I will except without any hesitation. In answer to the last reviewer, no refund has been offered but repairs were offered provided that I removed my review as they are honest reviews and despite the attitude and the the threatening behaviour over the phone they will not be removed, Trading Standards Durham are now involved as are the offices in Gateshead and I must say that the latest reviews on this merchant have been CORKERS mmmmmmm I wonder why

My family bought 2 cars from JGM Motors Ltd and the service was excellent. I would truly recommend this garage to anybody looking to buy a car.

After 14 years overseas I returned to London and bought a car from JGM Motors. They even delivered it to my home! It was great service and the car was just what I needed. I'm now in the process of asking them to find another car for my wife...... Thank JGM!
The salesman at JGM Motors is not what he appears to be. I would recommend people to definitely get an AA/RAC inspection. I will never buy again from him.

I found a car at JGM which as described was what I needed. I was living in N Ireland and had explicit assurance from the owner that the car was as described and traveled to Durham to pick it up. The apparent helpfulness and friendliness of the owners was belied by a range of faults in the car. Mileage incorrect by 1000+ , front tyres illegal due to tracking fault which was an advisory in MOT, no jacking tools for the car, and most important a faulty suction control valve which meant the car entered limp mode once it had braked. I was driving back to Ireland as these became apparent. My contact with the firm was just ignored.

All in all I was satisfied with the service from JGM Cars, they did say they would MOT the car which they didn't manage to do but the car was in good condition and I'm a mechanic myself so I wasn't to upset. The car is A1 now and I'm very happy with it.

I liked a car JGM Motors was selling. He asked me to pay a deposit for holding a car for me until I come to see it and I did. Never again!! When I came to see the car I found out that the seller is misleading on mileage (advertised with over 6,000 miles less than there actually was). I said I will not buy a car. All the problems came after I said that. I was threatened to leave his land and he didn't give me my money back. It is now over 2 weeks, I reported him to the police and trading standards and I will take him to county court if he doesn't refund me ASAP. PLEASE BE AWARE if you don't want to have the same hassle as me!!!

I can understand, I came in to see a car and it was advertised as in excellent condition,, yeah right, broken back wiper rusty, and wrong badges on the back of the car from another vehicle,, also it drove terrible..when I said I did not like the car I was almost ushered off site,..NEVER GO AGAIN !!!!
Bought a car from JGM Motors and had issues within the first 24 hours. Rang to ask for help with the issues and they weren't interested and very rude on the phone, reply was "you bought a second hand car and its your problem". Would never recommend this garage to anyone and will never buy a car from them again. Good thing I have a local garage who have helped with the issues at my cost.
