Bought car in 08/2021, appeared ok but series of faults appeared shortly after the crappy 30 day warrenty, can’t prove but had clearly been well hidden faults, also service history book arrived just after 30 days, which showed clearly that mileage was incorrect by at least 30,000, from about 6 years previous, was sent compensation but no where near enough, wanted to return car but was refused.
Recently purchased a Ford Cmax here. From the outset the dealer was rude, abrasive, dismissive and sarcastic over messages. Giving him the benefit of the doubt that communication via messages can sometimes be misunderstood we proceeded with the purchased and arranged to have the car delivered to us as unable to view/collect due to COVID restrictions. The car arrived with multiple points of cosmetic damage we were not told about and was filthy inside and out as if it had not been cleaned before being delivered. The car was overdue for a service which again we were not told about. The engine management light came on after only 8 days of having the car. The dealer was notified about this however offered no resolutions. The dealer has since refused even the most basic of contact details to be able to lodge a formal complaint via email. The dealer has refused to assist us with this fault and has made it clear that the warranty supplied was for only 30 days and as this has been dragged on past this date the car cannot be returned, and the dealer is not prepared to assist with getting this faulty product they supplied repaired. Now £3000 to many people is not a great deal of money for a car however for our family its everything we had and are now left with a car that’s not fit for purpose, did not match the advert, developed a fault within 8 days of taking delivery and have now been left to try and get it repaired on our own using money we no longer have as gave it all to the dealer. We are now in communication with trading standards and are looking to take the dealer to court as in clear violation of the consumers rights act.

Its uk law now for and car dealer/forecourts To give 6 months warranty They offer 3 months But its uk law 6 months they are legally bound to abide by
The car I bought from JLM Car Sales cost me £600 of repairs, 3 months after buying the car. The underbody of the car badly corroded, all brake pads/disks needed changing, the back suspension severely damaged and more. The car had been MOTd by the garage the day before I collected it with zero advisories. The garage I got it serviced at told me they were shocked that it had even passed an MOT. After complaining to JLM they refused to pay for any repair costs. Awful garage, very disappointed, avoid!

Its UK law that any car sales business has to give 6 months warranty If the car is not fit for purpose and develops mechanical issues. You have 6 months warranty not the 3 months these characters offer
You would be better off going to the local auctions instead of JLM Car Sales and buying the same cars for 2k less. all over priced massively

100% correct All auction bought acleaned up and checked on the forecourt 3 month crappy warranty that isn't UK law abiding As the UK changed years ago and all car sales company's have to offer 6 months guarantees on all cars sold
