Bought a bmw 3 series about 7 weeks ago on finance. Car was provided with a 1 year gold warranty with parts and labour...after exactly 3 weeks the timing chain snapped..according to the Rac ( proof available) .when contacting the dealership they told me it was a recall on the model and I should contact bmw directly . I did exactly that and after providing them my registration number they confirmed that no recall was on this model . So I then contacted the dealership who told me that that bmw were fibbing to me ... Really.... And the exact words were that they advertise the ultimate driving machine so should sort it out ! Lol I was really lucky that the car was on finance and I have certain rights ...but the fca approved dealership is being reluctant to admit fault..if I had paid cash I would have been stuffed ..on another note I sold my old car to these guys for £200 after being told it had millions of faults and the mot would not pass etc ..but funny enough it was up for sale the next day for £1000 with a years mot on it ...all I can say is be aware looking forward to the reply ...will be interesting.

its unfortunate that the timing chain on your BMW 3 series diesel has failed, if you do your research on the Internet you can see proof that this problem is a design fault which BMW have openly admitted and therefore have been honouring any necessary repairs as a result, there have been lots of people affected by this and was even aired on TVs watchdog, I don't know why you have been told your vehicle is not affected if indeed your timing chain has failed as you claim it clearly is, your Vauxhall vectra was advertised for £1000 and sold with a new mot after spending £500 to obtain one which includes the replacement of the noisy timing chain when the engine was cold which when asked you choose not to inform me of, this is the first we have heard on this matter since our telephone conversation a number of weeks ago, as far as we were aware this problem had been resolved, it's a shame you didn't contact us direct regarding this matter as we are here to help instead of writing this negative review on JM motors, please feel free to contact us for any further assistance . I purchased a Land Rover from this dealership in Sept 2015 and have to say it's exactly the type of service you wish from a car dealer. Not pushy, knowledgable, helpful and John even personally delivered the mats direct to my door as they hadn't arrived by my purchase date. He's a pleasure to deal with, highly recommended.

Very pleased with my car from JM Motors. I was exactly as described in advertisement which was essential with me living so far away. I was supplied with 12 months nationwide warranty too. Recommend this JM Motors.
************************BUYER BEWARE ************************* Purchased 10 year old car from JM Motors Ltd for £2550. John Matthews advised the noise coming from the turbo was normal and the noise was the belt squeaking due to an engine clean. Day after purchase I found the car had 3 faults, steering lock broken, number 4 injector leaking (these two faults are an MOT fail) and the turbo was in failure. The car went back the next day. First two faults were fixed in 2 weeks, but John would not accept anything was wrong with the turbo. A full two and a half months after purchase I drove the car back here to have diagnostics to prove the fault as John refused to fix it or refund me. The warranty sold with the car would have been void, as the car was sold with a mechanical fault. On the drive back the turbo blew, destroying the engine (driven total of 108 miles since purchase). John did not answer my email or letters. I purchased with my credit card, so was able to claim back under section 75 but took me 4 months of immense stress. I was successful in getting my refund from credit card today. JM Motors in Uxbridge sold car not fit for purpose and refused to resolve the issues. I have all the paperwork to back this up just ask me to produce this and I will.

We feel the review left by Mrs Woods regarding her failed turbo is not a true version of events. All her emails and recorded letters were responded to by a member of staff here at JM Motors (proof available if required). On many occasions efforts were made by JM Motors to collect the vehicle for inspection. Also further communication was sent by letter via recorded Royal Mail delivery, however she ceased communication with us. Taking into account the efforts we made to contact Mrs Woods we are extremely disappointed about her review. We feel this does not give a true portrayal of our company and the way we do business. We have been trading since 2006 and have many returning happy customers.
JM Motors Uxbridge weren't like other dealerships I've dealt with I'll tell you that, they actually delivered on everything they said they would do, the car is excellent and I cannot recommend them enough. I have now already owned my Vauxhall for nearly 4 months and I honestly couldnt be happier.

If i'm honest J M Motors couldn't of been more helpful, I traveled down to Uxbridge by train and they were there to pick me up, everything went fine with the sale and the car has been faultless, fantastic service throughout.
