WARNING!!.. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!! . THEY SOLD ME A CAR AS AN "APPROVED USED" CAR. LIED & LIED ABOUT IT HAVING A FULL SERVICE HISTORY UNTIL IN THE END I FOUND HARD PROOF THAT THEY KNEW ALL ALONG THAT THE CAR NEVER HAD ANY SERVICE HISTORY AT ALL! THE MAGNITUDE OF FRAUDULENTLY SELLING ME A CAR HAS NOT SEEMED TO HAVE SUNK IN YET / OR THEY SIMPLY DON'T CARE!!!!

I brought a BMW XR bike from this dealer. It was delivered with a damaged fork leg and leaking oil, this made the bike not roadworthy and would not pass a mot. I took 3 weeks to get repaired, 30 phone calls and endless emails. I didn't expect this level of service and quality from a BMW main dealer. The bike also arrived dirty. Clearly no PDI inspection done before shipping. Never again.

Used BMW 3 G2 Sale - Problems encountered at pickup and after really mount up. But be assured you are in safe hands..(Ermm! NOT) Sales are not interested in you once the £ has been transferred - BEWARE. 1. Within 2 miles the Engine management light came on - Back into Garage for repair. 2. Driver door painted keycover missing - 3 weeks to get another. 3. Floor mat missing - Noticed after I drove home - 1 weeks to rectify. Preparation = NILL ! 4. V5 not processed for 2-3 weeks by John Clark Group so I couldn't start my personal Reg transfer for ages until the V5 came back from DVLA!. 5. NOT told Road Tax was £520 per year (luxury DVLA tax). That doesn't happen according to the Brian the Sales Manager, but have a look on reviews online and I have news - Others reporting the same thing (just to get a sale). JCG Sales Manager said - I should have known & they have done nothing wrong, so why should they do anything! 6. On renewal of £520 road tax in 2022 - Found out I had lost 1 month of that £520 due to the deal being completed on 29th of month when purchased (not advised of that either)..I didn't need the car on any particular day. JCG Sales Manager said - I should have known & they have done nothing wrong and I should have known, so why should they do anything about it? Offred £500 off my next purchase and £ off the RRP price of a Service - Thats NEVER going to happen as RRP for a BMW Service means how much?(he cant tell me but he is doing his Sales job!!!). 7 . BMW ConnectDrive ran out 5 MONTHS before I was told it would (5 months before it was 3 Years old!) & I no longer have Connect Drive available. Told by Sales Manager at John Clark Group it lasts 3 years from Registration...NEWS to ALL...It DOESNT..BMW wrote & told me its 3yrs 90days from the MANUFACTURE date NOT FROM REGISTERED DATE as was told by this lot.!! Oh & just to be helpful he told me its nothing to do with them its BMW so contact them....JC Group Sales Manager, helpful as always (NOT)!

We would not recommend pursuing a purchase of a car through BMW Dundee. We dealt with several team members, Alistair and Glenn who both promised phone calls and updates, however we received nothing. We had to phone several times during the week to get an update and our calls were never returned and as I have seen in previous reviews, this has been a common issue. Glen even admitted to us that it was poor service that someone had previously not got in contact with us, and unfortunately he did the exact same thing which was very disappointing. We were very interested in a car and was told by both Glen and Alistair that they would see what they could do on a 2nd hand car we drove and would contact us the next day – of course this didn’t have and after several calls, no answers or communication we decided to go into branch (for the 3rd week in a row to get an answer from someone). Once here, we were told the car was sold (little to our knowledge) – which was extremely frustrating and unprofessional on their part. This situation left us in such a state of upset that we felt we had to complain. We were then told that slots had “appeared” to get the car we originally wanted and this could be ordered there and there – we feel throughout our experience that we have been lied to and given false promises so we didn’t trust the service provided. Since this experience, we have heard through friends and colleagues of similar experiences with BMW Dundee. We would not return or recommend their services. We have managed to get the car we wanted for a better price, timeframe and from a company that actually care about us as consumers and have provided consistent communication and support throughout the purchase process.

Bought a bmw 320d from bmw tayside over the phone went down collected bmw and drove home phoned next day to speak to salesman his day off phoned again next day spoke to him told him problems about bmw then got excuse after excuse for a week finally the receptionist put me through to services and they arranged for me to take it to Aberdeen bmw to get it looked at Aberdeen bmw couldn't have been more help this complaint has no reflection on them ,it also appears tayside bmw haven't sorted out the finance on my old car so to sum up Would I recommend buying a bmw from tayside bmw go to Aberdeen branch

Bought a 20 plate 1 series with o my 4K miles. only saw the car though a video due to covid. As soon as signed paper work via online communication broke down drastically. Chased Glen numerous times then had to start calling to get a reply. finance on my old car which BMW Tayside agreed to clearI they didn’t clear! I started getting arrear letters 4 weeks after collecting my new BMW! The car I purchased was damaged they refused to fix this. I didn’t notice this in the video or when collecting the car due to it being dark. All off the above there is numerous reviews confirming the same thing including damaged cars being sold! Iv highly avoid this garage and I know I will not be given them my business again

Just bought a second hand car from this garage. What can I say the level of service was fantastic and attention to detail on car was outstanding. Colin dealt with us very professional and nothing was a problem . Thank you I would 100% recommend this garage and would certainly buy again from them. Delighted with new car thank you
Have been to John Clark BMW Tayside twice within the last 2 weeks all went very well the service girls Lauren & linzi on the service desk made me most welcome,they were very professional Polite and couldn’t do enough for me even directing me to a breakfast cafe,,I got offered a hot drink on booking in also a courtesy car on both occasions. It’s great to get proper customer service for a change,well organised and well run company. Many thanks Davie.

Left deposit with John Clark BMW Tayside and a week later collected car which now has additional miles on the clock and numerous paint chips on the bonnet that certainly weren't there when I first viewed it! Very quick to take your money but after-sales service is absolutely shocking - they're simply not interested. All smiles when you fork over your hard earned money but after that... forget it! One staff member didn't tell some-one else about something, who ended up blaming someone else entirely - amazing incompetence!!! Lots of people warned me about John Clark Dundee but I went ahead anyway and am now literally paying for it. This is for JOHN CLARK DUNDEE, maybe the staff up in Aberdeen are much friendlier. To sum up -AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
