John Kilkenny Cares is an unscrupulous dealer who hides away from issues and instead of repairing the faults just acts in an underhand manner and rests the blame on you instead. Honestly wouldn’t go near this guy or his motors.

Genuinely if you are wanting an honest and reputable car dealer who won’t just cause you hassle then John Kilkenny Cars isnt the garage for you. I bought a car from this garage and it has caused me a lot amount of trouble and the owner, John, despite being asked will not fix the problem. Genuinely so much trouble I have ad and I would simply look elsewhere as he will be all nice and smiles and then will just be troublesome. Avoid like the plague

John of John Kilkenny Cars is undoubtedly a nice guy when he is selling you a car. However, god forbid when you buy the car from hell you cannot rely on him. Why, you may ask? Here goes, broken tailgate on a Jaguar x Type Estate. What else, gearbox and alternator warning lights, complete failure of front and rear parking sensors. Oh! The air conditioning didn't work when I purchased the car in August when driving back to Kent from Scotland. What has John done? NOTHING!! By the way, the warranty that John supplies borders on useless. I know because the AA turned it all down. There is more, like crash damage (not noticeable on purchase)and only received a screenshot for HPI and never the certificate. Very odd. John has decided to ignore my emails. Be aware.

Absolutely spot on deal with John Kilkenny Cars. Very good communication and the car was exactly as described. Went the extra mile to sort out some small issues on a 10 year old car.

Very happy with my purchase from John Kilkenny Cars. The Rover I bought was in excellent condition for it's years and when I had a problem with the car later on John was quick to help me out however he could. Would recommend and would definitely go back. Even my wife liked John and she doesn't like anybody!

john Kilkenny cars gets my nomination for Dealer of the year! I popped by today to take a look at their many Volvo's. The forecourt is smart and well stocked with a good selection of cars. The owner was informed, good humoured and took the time to find out exactly what I was looking for in a car. After a long chat he came to the conclusion that I wouldn't be satisfied with the car I was looking at and he sent me on my way! I was a sitting duck, ready to spend a large amount of money but he was thoroughly professional when he could have made an easy sale! after some deliberation I have since been back and bought a car and needless to say I'm very happy with it. Totally refreshing - thank you and well done!

Excellent experience so far, we originally went to see John to view a BMW estate and ended up buying a Volvo which suited our needs better, John advised us throughout the process, 2 month's in and it would seem its been fantastic advise, John is very courteous and takes his time when dealing with his potential customers, Thank you again.

After a terrible experience buying our last car this was in contrast, a very positive experience buying a car through John Kilkenny Cars. A very personal approach from suggesting an excellent location for an evening meal at Queensferry by the Firth of Forth to collecting me from the stations to collect the car, very early in the morning. Nearly sixth months and 11,000 miles on, the car is a supportive and cherished member of the family. An excellent choice. A big thank you to John.
