Would recommend John Kilkenny Cars to any person who is looking for a good quality car at affordable prices.I bought a car of him a week ago he couldn't have been more helpful and his after care service is excellent am very happy with my car don't think I could have done better.

I had been looking for a not too expensive yet reliable car for my student nurse granddaughter and had already made two awful mistakes buying from private sellers. It was like coming home when we discovered John and his garage, he found out exactly what it was we needed and from then on the whole buying process was a breeze. My Granddaughter has a car that she loves, especially on night shifts and I have the peace of mind knowing she is driving a car that John recommended. Could not have done better.

Never had any trouble with John Kilkenny Cars in Edinburgh, we bought our 2nd car from him for my wife and so far its been exactly what we wanted, never caused us any trouble whatsoever. We would buy from John Kilkenny cars again.

I was sold a car which was to my knowledge a good sound car and assured by Kilkenny cars it would have no problems passing an MOT in six months time when purchased back in November 2014. Well to say it did not pass was an understatement the mechanic initially thought the car needed some welding but when taking the back out the whole underneath rear seat belt anchors were completely ROTTEN AS WAS EVERYTHING SURROUNDING IT the option was to scrap or continue welding and after three days i had my car with an MOT certificate but a 1600 pound bill. I contacted John at Kilkenny cars and explained the situation on which he replied "You should have taken the car back to me to be welded" however this is a 300 mile round trip from the NE of Scotland and i would have been unable to as the car was not road worthy and already stripped down sitting in a garage. I asked John if they would contribute towards the excessive costs especially since he had assured me the car in his words " Will sail through an MOT" he replied that he would need to discuss with his accountant and would be in contact which was three weeks ago!!! He now ignores my calls and texts and being a pensioner I've had to take a massive overdraft to pay the mechanic and feel totally let down and disappointed with Kilkenny Cars. MY ADVISE STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

AVOID if you can. Stay away for miles. Will never come back. The communication after transfer of the money very difficult, did not send papers to optional Momentum, do not buy this. The Momentum itself is very difficult and unpleasant to deal with. Will switch to another insurance ASAP. Do not waste your time on this team.
