I bought a citroen c4 from these cowboys, two miles down the road we realised it had no floor covers over the storage compartments they had covered them up with floor mats, one month later handbrake failure, 5 weeks in it kept stopping for no reason, this happened going down a slip road onto the m6 with my autistic son in the back. I contacted them and they said they'd take it and fix it, to cut a long story short the faults were never sorted out and they blocked my number, had to rig from different phones and they just laughed at us. This company should be closed down they are corrupt dealers . Please never buy a vehicle from them!
Its shocking to see so many bad reviews. I guess I was lucky enough to had a very good experience with this dealer over 2 years ago when I bought my first car Audi A6 2012 from them. Since I am leaving a good review after more than 2 years of the purchase, it is needless to say that car has performed very well throughout. All I did was getting it serviced. In fact, within a couple of weeks after the purchase, the tail lights (the indicators) stopped working for both lights, and JS guys replaced it without charging a penny. The lights were fitted by the salesperson himself which didn't seem professional at all :D but I didn't mind because at the end of the day, their response was humble and helpful, and most importantly lights were properly fitted. I reached out to them recently to part exchange my Audi with a BMW but I guess the business is now closed or something? Their website is not accessible, and I guess they are not reachable on the phone as well. Anyway, I feel sorry for all the people who had a bad experience, as a customer I'd never want to be in that situation.
Bought a car for my 17 year old son, his first car. Got 30 day unlimited mileage warranty (not worth the paper it’s written on). A problem occurred within a week and the company with not return or answer any calls, emails and even had some live chats... nothing! This company have no shame! Stay clear because if you have any problems your on your own, THEY DO NOT WANT TO KNOW!!! They even tried to get me to sign a document for something they didn’t even do.

Ongoing problems with a car I purchased in December. Now no longer receiving a response and I have been told car is not drivable
Paid deposit for a van to find out it had finance on it Now refusing to give deposit back
Avoid this John Stuart Motor Company in Warrington, they are selling dangerous unroadworthy cars. Nice with you until they have your money. Aftersales a disgrace. My sister bought a Jaguar from these cowboys a few months ago. On the test drive they advised they were unhappy with the brakes. The salesman said he will replace the brake pads and discs. They collected the car the following week and paid £15000. Shortly afterwards the brakes were not right. On returning to the garage we were discussing the problem with the salesman, who initially was being sympathetic. Then a grey haired woman came out the office mocking and laughing suggesting we leave as there was no issue with the car, an argument began. The situation changed and we were asked to leave or she would set the dog on us !! Wow had the cash had you. We left and spoke with a VOSA inspector who said the brakes were not fitted correctly and was an automatic MOT failure, not to mention dangerous and need to be fixed immediately. The following day we returned to John Stuart Garage, we were told in a very angry manor to leave before the dogs were set upon us !! What a disgusting excuse for a garage. Clearly selling faulty unroadworthy cars. Avoid at all cost. Sadly we paid to get the car fixed at a different garage. Please learn from my mistake and keep away.

Phil Townsend in response to Avoid this dealer
I had a similar experience to this Tracey, the general public need to be made aware of this dealership and its awful aftersales.
Initial response of salesman at John Stuart Motor Company Car Superstore was friendly enough. The car was 150 miles away so I asked some careful questions about its condition . I was assured that all wheels had been refinished and that the interior was in very good condition commensurate with a low mileage car. On arrival the description was far from truthful. Heavily scratched interior. Dirty inside and out. Wheels not refinished. Having bough many cars over the years, the presentation was nothing short of insulting and shoddy. worst of all, the mileage was 500 miles greater than on the invoice and on autotrader. Very disappointed that despite agreeing with my comments they didn't have the decency to put some petrol in my tank for a wasted journey. The representative was away on the collection day but when I politely expressed my dissatisfaction the following week, his tone had changed completely and he had the discourtesy of saying 'whatever' 3 times in a short conversation. Amateur.

I purchased my car and extended warranty and a service plan 3 years ago. I have just received a letter from the service company stating my service plan has been cancelled. My MOT and service is due and John Stuart didn’t even contact me to let me know that they were no longer using the service plan company. They are not being helpful at all and suggest I contact the service company myself. I have a service and MOT due and now have to arrange this myself without any contact from John Stuart. If I hadn’t received the cancellation letter from the service company I wouldn’t have even known about it. The worst customer service I have ever encountered.
