After having my car for 2 weeks for an overheating issue finally had it back today. 1st got diagnosed with a faulty manifold which the warrenty covered and then told my vehicle still wasnt holding pressure. Was then told it was a faulty waterpump. Not happy with the outcome has warrenty did not cover this but has they needed pictures work still went ahead. In the end it cost me £1200 pound just to be told that if i wasnt happy at the time the old pump would have been put back on. Very unproffessional service from a main dealer. For the 2wks it was in i had to phone them. Not once did they ring me. No courtesy car. Cost small fortune getting to and from work

Do not trust the Sales guys at this branch They tend to sell cars with known problems. when cornered they refund the money and you are left with no car. Sales Manager Jeevan was extremely rude and unhelpful. Avoid this garage if possible.

I just got myself a new car from the showroom. It took about a week from buying it to getting the car key, and they only approved the financing. Reece was fantastic and helped me all the way through. I really can't thank him enough for being so quick and supportive.
I would not deal with Johnstones VW again. Sales and after sales atrocious. Also products they sell you. I paid for G3 Ceramic coating upon purchasing my car. It was not done at all. I phoned and told them and it was rebooked. I took the car back to be done. It took them only 30 minutes to do it. This is not at all possible. To be done properly, it is a 3 day job. Personally I gave up with them. You get the typical sales talk, having the sales person going back to their manager,only to come back and feed you lies If you want to deal with Johnsons VW then go to Tamworth.VW. Same company just 100% a better place to be and a better service Hard to get answers when the deal is done and very rarely get back with answers. If they do it’s a 50/59 chance that the truth comes from them

Sold me a car but 6 months later I’m still chasing the log book. Avoid this company, customer service is non existent. Sales assistant also not honest. Deal with this company at your peril.

Johnsons VW Birmingham have got to be the poorest car dealership I have ever ever dealt with, I made an enquiry about a car, And they could not contact me enough, even going to the trouble of sending me a video of the car and they would look forward to dealing with me. I did purchase the car and all the calls were answered whenever I rang to ask about the pickup and signing of documents, ( I live 65mile away) absolutley great service as I thought, I did all the signing after travelling to them and 5 minutes before leaving, I was told there was only one key but rest assured a new key had been ordered and would arrive shortly. After 4 weeks of phone calls which were not returned and even told they would get the salesman to ring me back' HE did not' although before hand could not ring me enough to make sure I was still having the car, Contact was what I expected from a dealership as all of the dealerships I have dealt with over my 60 odd years, But this was the first VW I had purchased, And alas for me it was johnsons of Birmingham. The key arrived after 4 weeks so I was told to ring Johnson in Birmingham when it arrived so as they could inform johnsons of Stoke (the nearest VW to me) and arrange the key to be programmed, I did but my salesman was busy and he would ring me back' HE did not, So rang again the next day but he was on his day off, I asked to speak to a manager, and after waiting on the phone the receptionist told me he was also busy but would ring me back, as of yet he as not, The thing is this, is this a so called professional company who are hell bent on just selling cars and giving NO customer service the moment the customer takes the car off the forecourt' The salesmen get there commission the company gets there bit, and to hell with the stupid mug customer. Whenever I have purchased a car' Peugeot, Ford,Audi,Citreon and others I have purchased from I have always had the best customer service even to the point they have rang me after purchasing and asking was all OK, then some months later the same again and asking if my wife and I were happy with the vehicle, Not waiting until 5 minutes before to let you know there was only one key, Other companies would have made this a top priority to get those spare set of keys to you asap, Not a month down the line and still waiting to get said key programmed. I really cannot emphasise my disappoitment with johnsons of Birmingham, and under the logo of VW a rspected car maker in the world having johnsons as a dealer.

It took A MONTH to purchase a car, nice little 19 plate, arrived with a person driving it who had no idea where he was, with no log book or number to tax the vehicle 'til a week later. With defects, mileage and warning lights on that weren't mentioned on descriptions, a mysterious knocking sound and radio silence from the company/dealership/disgrace. 3 months later, no information as to local garages to take the vehicle to. No reply when asking how to return the vehicle. No end to misery. Lucky they haven't cost someone's life yet.

I purchased a Used Approved Tiguan R and the issues literally began the next day. The Sales service was first Class but the rest of my interactions with the Dealership have been atrocious. I have been back there over 25 times now with my car. Not once has anyone called me back after promising to call me back. The simplest of issues with my car have taken almost a year to resolve. No one ever answers the phone so im having too just show up at my own cost. They never provide any solutions and im having to think of my own solutions in order to get things moving. I would avoid this dealership at all cost. This was a dream car for me which they have completely ruined.

Bought our car online, helped through the process by Ali, everything went smoothly & efficiently. Ali came in on his day off to finalise the sale, nicest man you could wish to meet. Nothing was too much trouble. An honest & sincere salesman who made us feel very good about our purchase. Above & beyond expectations.

I cannot rate Johnson’s Volkswagen Birmingham highly enough. Excellent customer service from Alisha and any problems were put right straight away. Would definitely recommend buying a car from them.
