Johnsons of Leigh sold me a car that needed work the moment I drove away from the forecourt. Do not go near them.
Not too bad. I got my Mercedes from Johnsons of Leigh back in September last year. The car was in good condition and quite a good price. I have had a couple of issues which I have had sorted myself as I felt the dealers here were messing me around abit with it but other than that they were good. would recommend.

I travelled from Kent to Essex to get my Hyundai Tucson from Johnsons of Leigh. Up to now I am really happy with the car, I have had no issues with it and seems to be worth the money. The dealers were helpful and I would recommend them.

Partner got a car from here on finance all was well and good until the brakes went on him twice within the space of a week. Johnsons of Leigh then took it to ford as still under fords warranty. He got the car back 5 days later and when he drove it that first day he broke down over an hour away from home. Mechanic has said it's an engine fault and johnsons are saying it's just the battery untold amount is wrong with the car! They are no help once they have the money!!!!!!!! The dealer on the other hand was a lovely bloke and tried to help at first.
The whole buying process was made very easy and straight forward, including "help" with getting finance for the vehicle. However, we almost straight away had issues with the vehicle. A temporary fix was done and we were told it was a permanent solution. Once inspected by another garage, the work done; to replace the dpf filter, had not been done. Instead the car had been modified and the filter just disconnected. Thus causing issues with our insurance. We have still not received a warranty of any kind for the part that was fitted, without our knowledge, and getting any kind of response from the owner is impossible. So while it may all seem brilliant at the start, once they have your money they are not interested, and as mentioned in other reviews, it won't be long until faults start occurring. I would not recommend this garage at all.
Avoid Johnsons Of Leigh at all costs. We recently purchased a car from them which then on further inspection required £1500 of work to be done to get it up to scratch. They are not interested once cash has parted hands. Spend your hard Earned Cash Elsewhere, please if you listen to any advice. AVOID THESE GUYS.
I bought my first car from Johnsons of Leigh back in September as my parents both bought their cars from here. I found them very easy to talk to, they included some extras in the price and filled the car up as it had no petrol when I arrived. Very happy.

Cant fault Johnsons of Leigh they were very helpful. The battery died when we got back home having driven it away which wasn't ideal but they did replace it at no expense to myself. The car has been great during the past 3 months so have no complaints there and would recommend Johnson of Leigh so I am a happy buyer.

I purchased a Focus 2007 from Johnson's of Leigh, and the car was exactly as stated on the advert, the staff was friendly and very helpful. I would use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

The service was fine and friendly. The car did have to go back to be fixed, in the end had to split the cost as we had a disagreement over this, in an ideal world I wouldnt be paying anything. Im sure they would have known about this but not too easy to say either way. Ive had to spend a lot of my own time and money to have an issue resolved that could have been done by Johnsons of Leigh which would have shown excellent customer care and be rewarded with a great review and recommendation, however this is not the case so i wont be recommending on this occasion. Looking at the value of the car though i believe i paid a great price as i paid less than the book value
