I had an outstanding experience at Johnsons Mazda Oxford today! Called them this morning regarding an issue with a sensor on my vehicle (purchased at a different Mazda dealership), and they managed to fit me in with a same-day appointment, which was such a relief. Every staff member I interacted with was incredibly helpful and welcoming, creating a genuinely positive atmosphere. Special shout-out to Thomas Dunham, the Service Advisor – his professionalism, knowledge, and patience made all the difference. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt confident in the service I was receiving. Highly recommend this dealership for their top-notch service.

I visited your Botley Road branch and found all very helpful and knowledgeable. Great selection of new and older cars. Roger Clark was my contact salesperson who couldn’t have been nicer. Well done Mazda!
My partner purchased a used Mazda MX5 in December 2022, and has since found issues with the car. He has contacted Johnsons multiple times via phone and email to have this resolved yet the Sales Manager is always too busy or not around to talk to him. We live over 170 miles away so we can't just pop in. We have also contacted Mazda head office who promised us that Johnsons would call back yet they still have not. The warranty on the car is running out and we are desperate to get this resolved and hate to leave a bad review but the customer service is absolutely sickening.
Very poor sales team at Johnson's Mazda Oxford. I was interested in buying a vehicle to be delivered, salesman gave me a call and walked around the car and said there was nothing wrong with the cars bodywork and said he could not find a fault, showroom condition! The salesman took a £500 deposit over the phone I then had to make £12500 bank transfer as they would not accept card payment for the remaining amount. Barclays online security was to be made over 3 separate days to make payment. During this time I was not given a delivery date, I kept asking but they would not give me a date until the payment was made in full. I had to hire a car for 3 days so I could get to work so I decided to pick the car up my self. I traveled all the way from Okehampton to Oxford by train just to find that the vehicle had 3 chips on the window screen many chips on the bonnet and the roof as well as a discoloured bonnet. The salesman said I would need to claim off my car insurance to repair the window screen and they would reimburse me £40 with a receipt of works done. I had the car insured before I entered the car show room as I was travelling on to London and then back to Devon. I decided not to buy the car and I was now stranded in Oxford distraught and not know what to do next. I gave the salesman my full bank details for a refund which they said it could be five working days to get my £13000 back in to my account. This cost me £130 to hire a vehicle for 3 days, train journeys totaling £200 and two days off work. After many phone calls I finally got my money back over a week later. I needed a vehicle to get to work so I had to get finance so I could buy another. I went to Cazoo and got the full five-star treatment and a perfect car with excellent customer service.
