I bought a Mercedes C220 off Chris which was reported as being fully working and with no issues. After viewing the car and paying upon it being "completed", I have had no end of issues with the car. The central locking stopped working, then there were multiple errors that came up on the dash, an even a leak in the boot! Each time it has been a nightmare to get in touch with Chris. Despite him claiming to have a garage, he simply passed me on to a mechanic who he sub contacts to it seems. Yet at the point of sale, he stated that he has a showroom but it is closed because of COVID19...? Not sure how this will go, the car is now in for another repair. If I could walk away with a. refund I would, but Chris is a hard person to get ahold of when he has been paid! I would avoid at all costs in the future. Backstreet dealer with no morals sadly.

I bought a Chevrolet Cruze off Chris which was paid for in full June 1.I broke down after 10 minutes of driving, however of course I wanted the car so agreed to let it be taken away to be repaired. First off it was diagnosed as DOF filter.. then ECU.. the central locking... then OBC.. the list goes on. Long story short, we arrive at the tail end of August and between his two “mechanics” (one of which vanished) the other who just ignores phone calls, the car is still not fixed. I was extremely patient with Chris and the “other” cowboys but enough is enough, had a final phone call with Chris at the start of August and advised I’ll wait a final 2 weeks for the part to be shipped form Poland (only one in the world apparently..!). However in those 2 weeks zero comms off Chris. Looking back, his comms are shocking, always was me chasing for every update, he never contacted me first, or passed me on to a third party mechanic claiming he had nothing to do with it. Anyway - I requested a refund and the other expenses paid which was agreed on our last phone call, but this has not happened. The usual personal crisis messages followed as expected. Chris used my payment details to tax the car but I don’t have the documents (this has been paid for since June 1), the car had a tank of fuel I put in (he’d left it with.under 10 mikes range in when I picked it up.) . Not only that, my possessions are still in there. Extra Heated seat covers, wireless charger set up, travel kits and car maintained products in the trunk and various other bits. To finish off nicely, Chris decided to block me on what’s app, messages and phone calls last week. In summary - a crooked low end person who doesn’t deal in the manner you’d expect from someone who claims to value relationships and offer the personal touch - I’ve bought a couple of cars previously and have genuinely never experienced such a complete.. cock up?

Lawrence Your car had problems from the beginning of lockdown. I apologise for this but a full refund was offered the moment you had a problem. Unfortunately the 9 year old car is not a brand new car. Many attempts were made to correct the issues but unfortunately after collecting from your house in Chester twice, insuring your old car for you at no cost and sending a driver on each occasion couldn’t solve the problems. You have had a full refund without quibble or complaint. Now please grow up and stop you slander! A Main dealership selling brand new cars would not have tried harder to fix the problem let alone a family run business selling you a £2495 car. Save up your spending money from your parents a buy a new car 👍

An excellent car buying experience! Chris was brilliant throughout, happy to work around dates and times that suited us. He even paid us for our old car for scrap! The 3 month warranty gives me confidence that the car will run smoothly and Chris has follow up called with us to ensure that. Plus my dogs loved him!
