Called in advance regarding a particular vehicle advertised on website and to ask for a test drive. On arrival was left standing outside in the cold while staff member went off to locate keys. Several attempts to find the keys failed. The vehicle was dirty which was pretty off-putting. We gave up and left. We were serious buyers and in fact bought similar vehicle from another dealer later the same day.

I am very sorry you feel that you were let down by ourselves, this is obviously not what we like to hear. When we spoke on the telephone I did explain that we have a sales process that we would need to go through before a test drive would happen. You did seem happy with this and informed me that you would arrive in about 40 minutes. It is not our policy to instantly test drive our vehicles without giving any details or a copy of your driving licence to us. This is general practice in these situations with very few reputable dealers allowing this to take place otherwise. The pre-sales process was excellent. Post sale I found out the sales advisor had lied about the service history on the vehicle. The sales advisor admitted the deception but would not do anything about it. The replacement of my car every 2 years will now be handled by another firm.

Having read some of the reviews here I was worried about purchasing from this dealership. However I can say that the purchase of my Maserati went brilliant. I also had the best part ex price for my jaguar by miles compared to other dealers. The administration side of things after the purchase was quite slow however customer service is brilliant. They answer all calls and answer any questions you may have. They are also very polite to deal with. However, I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing a car that's not from a main dealer, do your research on the car. Test drive a few, compare them against each other. Know what you are looking for. Test drive it, more than once if you need, do independent checks etc. Overall I was very satisfied with my car buying and I will definitely be returning in 18 months time.

I don't think junction 17 cars gets the credit they deserve. I have bought sports cars for 20 years and always been disappointed with at least one aspect of the sale wether it was the sales person, the service, the dealership etc well junction 17 cars were faultless. Fantastic customer service and lovely staff and a huge array of sensational cars in a lovely showroom. The cars are exactly as the adverts state and the pictures don't do the cars justice because they all look lovely!! I purchased a 911 and I am over joyed. 10 out of 10. Well done. Over the moon with our new purchase. My husband and I picked up our new Bentley yesterday from junction 17 Peterborough. We were impressed by their whole sales process and customer service. We went to junction 17 cars last weekend to view the car and test drive. Philip was very professional and let us take our time. We traded in our Porsche Cayman and got a very good price. Philip called us in the week to let us know that the car had failed its mot on two tyres but was just letting us know that this would be done which I thought was a lovely touch. Our new car was Valleted and was waiting for us in their lovely showroom. We would highly recommend junction 17 cars. There's not many dealerships that we've heard of that spend the money getting the car right for the customer. We are really pleased. Thank you again!

Where do I start! Ok, really pleased with my purchase (911 Cabriolet) but that's where the positives finish. I was given a story of how the service history went missing but my car has an excellent service history. I was even assured that they would try and recover the history and had indeed serviced the car themselves. No sign of the history and when I have asked for a copy of the work carried out by them, they bury their heads in the sand and do not have the decency to return my call to apologies or explain the lies of the sales team. The warranty that they sold me (£800) is not fit for purpose and does not even cover a roadside breakdown. No apology again and I had to haggle for them to collect my vehicle for repair. Five telephone calls to ask for confirmation and proof of the service that they claim to have completed, no reply yet! Nearly three weeks to replace a flat battery and dents in the car when collected. Forgot to complete all small jobs before I collected from them. In short, do not trust them, get everything written down and don't expect any kind of competent honest after sales service. The worst car buying experience that I have ever experienced. How can you deal with a company who will not resolve anything but will offer to call you back. Perhaps if I wait another six months for their call they will eventually sort out the fibs form their staff! If you need a new car try somewhere else that has reliable reputation and positive reviews. Disappointing .

Dear Andy and Tracy Junction 17 are delighted that you are pleased with your 911. However, I would like to address the rest of your review. The vehicle was not advertised with full service history, although we were aware of it having a good service history as it was a vehicle which we had previously sold. The customer who had purchased the vehicle from us previously had lost the service history whilst in his possession. We did indeed try to recover the history but to no avail as the customer simply could not find it. The 24 month GEM warranty you purchased with the vehicle is a very comprehensive warranty. Vehicles over 10 years old are not covered by the breakdown service. I do understand that there was a misunderstanding with our salesman at the time of purchase. Once this had been established it was arranged for your vehicle to be recovered. I must apologise for this. I am looking into the details of the service on the vehicle whilst in possession of the previous owner. The copies of the work carried out 27.10.15 when you purchased the vehicle and the replaced battery on 29.2.16 have been forwarded to your email address from our records. As Customer Relations Manager I feel very sorry that you feel that Junction 17 do not offer a competent honest after sales service. At the time of purchase there was no one person looking after this part of the business. It is by no way of an excuse to say that our sales team simply were unable to take this role on as well as working on sales; but there is some mileage in this. The directors had the foresight to have a designated role for this. Perhaps due to you purchasing your vehicle in 2015 and not having a customer care manager until January 2016 may have exasperated your overall view which I am very sorry for. The directors at Junction 17 take customer service very seriously; which is why they strive to implement certain criteria to enhance this area. I work very closely with Trading Standards to ensure we meet the standards which are expected from the purchase of a second hand vehicle. I have just received a reply from Kate at customer care Jnctn17. It took just over three months for her to reply to me. Junction17 have not apologised for their misleading information. They told me that they had serviced my 911 prior to me purchasing it. I asked for a copy of the service schedule to keep my with my files. I have been informed that Junction17 did not complete a service (mysteriously they can't find a record of it). I knew that the previous history was missing but was satisfied that my car had been given a recent service and that was sufficient information for me to purchase the car. Please look at the majority of the reviews before you purchase from them. Other Porsche specialist garages have advised me never to go to Junction17, I wish that I had spoken to them first. Very disappointed that salesmen can sell cars without having to be honest.
Well I am completely overjoyed with my new purchase! I called junction 17 to ask about a jag xk they had in stock. I spoke to leoni she was very knowledgable and helpful on the phone. I went to see the car yesterday. I also had two others in mind to view elsewhere but I fell in love straight away. The team at junction 17 had the car ready to drive away. It had been motd and serviced and was presented in the immaculate showroom. Jamie sat me down and went through my part exchange deal and after an hour or so I drove it home. I am so happy with everything the team did for me from start to finish. Well done. A used car dealership that actually know what they're doing!!

I URGE potential customers to stay well clear of Junction 17. I speak from personal experience and experienced many months of financial loss and impossible dealings with them. There is absolutely no after sales support and the people are liars. I was lied to that I wasn't making my car payments, because the sales manager took things personal after I suffered problem after problem with my car purchased from them. They tell you all there cars go through a thorough inspection and the report has everything ticked as excellent, which is not the case AT ALL. 1 week after buying my car the wiper blades rubber peeled off, car has coolant leak, break fluid not topped up for years, as advised by a independent technical specialist. They used tricks in their advertising of cars on their webisite. Car I purchased was advertised as an outstanding service history, but it was written in the context of outstanding to mean brilliant service history- not written in a negative way to mean the service history was outstanding as in poor service history. I'm warning all customers...please stay well clear of these people. Very dishonest and cars that are not checked properly and completely unreliable. Had to trade my car in for another as they try bend the rules when you throw the consumer rights act at them. Ended up losing out in over £2500. Stay away!!!

Junction 17 cars work very closely with Trading Standards and our own standards are led by Trading Standards and by the Consumer Rights Act of 2015. Before a vehicle is sold it is put through a pre delivery check, an independent MOT and a delivery check list with the customer to make sure they understand exactly what they are purchasing in relevance to the age, history, miles, warranty etc., which is then signed by the customer. We do have after sales support, we contact our customers a few weeks after they have purchased their car to make sure they are happy with it and the service from Junction 17. I lead the Customer Care department which was initiated by the Managing Director as customer care is very important to him. On our website the contact details are clearly shown. Junction 17 are not in the habit of lying and really do not like the statement made in your review. How advertisements are written is descriptive of the vehicle and its history. How this is comprehended is up to the individual but would obviously be checked by themselves during the viewing, with any misconceptions brought up then and clarified. To anybody whom wants to buy a sports car at the right price, in a lovely showroom with great staff - go to junction 17 cars. I was absolutely spoilt for choice. A recently single gal like me wanting to treat myself with my divorce settlement. Bentley? Aston Martin? 911? The choice was mine... It wasn't actually a Bentley or a DB9 or a 911 but a chic and fabulous Audi R8. I was wowed by junction 17s selection and Philip was extraordinary with his knowledge. I spent nearly 5 hours there exploring my options and getting what I thought was a fab deal! I really enjoyed my whole experience and would recommend anyone. Thanks to the whole team and I cannot wait to start posing in my new car!!

Just picked up my amazing Maserati Ghibli I am a very happy man!!! The reason I chose junction 17 rather than any other dealership was not only the fact they were cheaper than anywhere else they offered part exchange and finance. They beat my part ex price I had elsewhere and I got a really flexible finance package with Motonovo. The staff were friendly and helpful and the car was ready in time all sparkly and waiting in their lovely showroom for me. I am over joyed and cannot thank junction 17 enough. Would 100% recommend
