I have been dreading purchasing a new car for a few months since my divorce. My ex husband always made the car purchases so I was anxious being a single woman. I am now the proud lady owner of a gorgeous BMW Z4. I have put this review on because I couldn't be happier with my whole purchase experience and I feel junction 17 cars should receive the credit they deserve. The salesmen were enthusiastic and eager to sell me a car without being pushy. I met one of the directors Leoni who was reassuring and extremely helpful. I got a fantastic finance deal with motonovo, the payments are a lot less than k thought they would be. When I picked it up it had been valeted serviced and motd ready for me. I'll definitely be back and I would definitely recommend anyone to go to junction 17 for their new car. Thanks, Sofia Grant (soon to be Sharpe again) xx

To my friends I likened the service I got buying an expensive car from them to buying a chocolate bar at the local corner shop. Was handed the keys with the minimal amount of fuel in it and told there was a petrol station up the road. I would have thought they would have given me more than a few miles of fuel for such an expensive purchase. I wasn't told about a charge for credit card otherwise I would have worked out another payment method. Also wasn't told about an admin charge. The dealer hardly showed me anything about the car and basically just handed me the keys. Later that night I realised there was a fault with the heating system, no blowers where working. I rang them and they told me everything was fine when you took it. Yeah thanks for that, no apology just typical sales trying to wriggle out of everything. I had to sort it all out with Porsche myself. I also had to wait over 2 months for my log book to come through. I would not recommend this company to anyone and will stick to main dealerships in future where the customer service is ten times better,

Sorry to hear you were not satisfied with the customer service you got with us Oliver. Firstly with regards to the Porsche you bought, we aim to be the cheapest on Autotrader for any particular car you are searching for, this therefore means that we will be substantially lower in price than a main dealer, probably by £5000-£8000 cheaper. With this in mind yes we do not have a full tank of fuel as our profit margins are not high like a main dealer who can afford a full tank of fuel or any additional extras. Our admin fee is a fee to cover the costs of a pre delivery inspection, a full valet and full MOT and/or service if required. With regards to the credit card charge, this is standard at any company for retail goods - the majority of retail companies stand a charge for credit cards because the credit card companies charge them as they do us. With regards to the sales staff not wanting to help After hearing the heaters were not working - well, as you are aware, the Porsche you bought is still under manufacturers warranty therefore Porsche would be responsible for any such repairs and this is what we told you, that it would need to go to Porsche for repairs under manufacturers warranty. I do agree with you however about the salesman not detailing the hand over with you. We will be re training that particular salesman to guide him through the correct hand over procedure again. I hope this clarifies certain aspects for you and wish you all the best in the future with your lovely Porsche. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

I discovered Junction 17 cars during an on line search for a used Honda, and was on arrival genuinely overawed by the superb line up of vehicles in their showroom, particularly in view of my limited budget. The service I received however was excellent and I would have no hesitation in returning to or recommending Junction 17 to others. I am also delighted with my Honda.

We had a fantastic experience from the start. When my husband initially phoned junction 17 they were knowledgable about the car we were interested in (Bentley GT) and answered all of our questions. We held the car off sale with a Deposit and travelled from London the following weekend to go and see it. We fell in love with it immediately. Although there were 4 others parked next to it that were just as nice too. It was even ready for us to drive it home that day! Phil was really friendly and professional and made our experience a pleasurable one! Thank you! We would be more than happy to travel there again for our next purchase. Gorgeous cars, lovely people and a fabulous showroom.

After an initial search on the web I soon found Junction 17 in Peterborough and Nottingham with my dream car a Porsche. Both showrooms had cars to view, so on my day off from work a Friday (Louth, Lincolnshire) we went over to view and make appointments with each showroom to test drive a Porsche on the Sunday. The customer service at both show rooms was second to none - my choice was at Peterborough a Porsche Boxster 2.7 S. I have a grin from ear to ear! Tim Moore looked after us answering all our questions, arranging for an mot and service before the car became mine. A big thank you Tim, also to Kate for her after sales service. I am one very happy customer and will come back to trade in, who knows, perhaps for another Porsche.

Really, really impressed by the high level of customer service at junction17. Tim was very professional and assertive and gave me fantastic advice about which car would suit my needs and budget the best. The whole showroom had the 'wow ' factor and the after sales service has been just as sleek. I have genuinely enjoyed the whole experience. Will definitely be back!! Thanks to the whole team at junction17 .

Just over 2 weeks ago I traded in my mint Abarth 595 plus some cash for a leggy 2008 350Z. I went into the purchase with my eyes open on a 2008 car with 70-odd K miles on the clock (in other words I didn't expect perfection!), but negotiated a fresh MOT and service for the day before I picked the car up. Exchange and handover went OK on the day and aside from a promise from the dealership to send on the missing satnav DVD (still missing as I write this over two weeks later!) as well as to arrange for the fixing of a dent in the wing and a chip in the windscreen, I left and drove home fairly satisfied. I also bought their full aftermarket warranty. Drive home went OK, no terrible noises, but I stuck on the motorway and kept it slow whilst I got used to the new car. The following day I went out for a drive in the evening. Doing about 60mph on a bumpy single carriage A road (yes no more than 60 - I had literally just started accelerating on a clear stretch), when the bonnet flew up with a crash, smashing into the windscreen and roof and obscuring my vision. Needless to say I was pretty shaken up, and could have been killed if it had happened in the fast lane of the motorway, but luckily I managed to bring the car to a blind stop safely. There was massive damage to the bonnet (it had inverted with the impact), the car roof had 5-6 large dents, and both front wing panels had been damaged where the bonnet hinges had folded back under pressure. I managed to limp the car the short way home and assessed the damage. I couldn't believe that the bonnet had flown open at speed, or that somehow I would have failed to have shut it, despite always being very careful about that sort of thing and being a very experienced car owner. I could immediately see the problem - the bonnet catch mechanism was totally rusted and gunged up, so much so in fact that it looked like it would have trouble ever engaging fully. The secondary/safety catch was also suspect, since it could move it to the 'open' position and it wouldn't spring closed as it should, due to the rusty condition. I was shocked and appalled that only the day before the car had been given a clean pre-sale inspection by Junction17 cars, as well as an MOT from their local MOT station. I called them up and asked them to rectify the damage. They refused. They also refused to accept the car back as a reject/refund, since I had supposedly damaged it. Apparently I must have driven off with the bonnet open (no explanation of how the secondary catch also failed), and also, since i had driven home from the dealership on the day of purchase OK, it was allegedly clearly no longer their problem. Obviously I argued the toss but their sales manager Jamie was rude and not helpful. I eventually found a different email address for their 'customer care' manager but over the last two weeks have gotten no joy through that route either, aside from a supposed 'goodwill offer' for me to go and have the car fixed in their garage - at my own cost! They seem to have literally no regard for the significant safety issues with the car they sold me, and therefore no regard for the safety of their customers, viewing it instead as a financial issue they would rather just ignore. A few days after the incident I rang the AA and was recommended to have a £195 'engineers report' done by their recommended agency, Dekra. I arranged for this to be done and their engineer was as appalled as I was. His report is damning and concludes with the statement 'The deficiencies in the bonnet catch operation should have been identified both in any reasonably accomplished pre-sale inspection but crucially should have been identified on the MOT test inspection as a point of failure on primary catch function.' Junction17 still refuse to take any responsibility whatsoever, and have now referred the matter to their lawyers. They are obviously well used to having disgruntled customers! I've now referred the matter to Trading Standards who are also taking it seriously, since it relates to personal safety as much as a breach of consumer rights. I've had two insurance quotes, both stating the need for a new roof, bonnet, two front wings, windscreen and painting. Estimates vary from £3300 to over 5000. Oh and to add insult to injury, I've just found out that the supposedly 'HPI clear' car they sold me .... has outstanding finance on it. I believe it is probably Junction17’s own 'unit stocking' finance agreement that they didn’t bother to clear before selling the car!

I've just picked up my new Nissan 370Z, great drive and all the good reviews I've read about the 370z are true, it is truley superb. Junction 17 asked me to write a review on my experience with them, and I am happy to say it was a close second to my 370z. Great dealership, great quality of cars and lovely people! And thumbs up to Phil for all help, cheers mate!

I have had a brilliant experience at junction 17 cars. I bought a Loveky Mercedes. I was really impressed that it came with a new MOT and it was presented well in their showroom. I dealt with Richard and Jay who were both really friendly and professional. I also got a great price for my BMW which I part exchanged. Really happy. Highly recommend.
