I travelled over three hours to get my new Boxster from J17, as I was travelling so far they put me up for free in a hotel which I thought was a really lovely touch. I reserve the car online and they had the car ready to take away for me, it was in showroom with the other amazing cars. The selection of cars there are impressive, there was two Lambo‘s Ferraris Porsches Maserati, amazing. The finance was quick easy and pain-free and the staff were lovely, Jamie was very patient with me (I was very nervous buying on my own after Painful divorce), he went through all the paperwork and the car buttons and whistles. I am in love with my new car, always a Silverlining in life – divorce equals getting the car of my dreams! Thanks to everyone at J17 see you soon

Really happy with my new little TT, I’ve wanted one for ages so it was a real treat for myself. The whole process was straightforward and easy and I felt very covid safe. I got finance on the same day to which was a bonus because the rate was better than the bank quoted and I can hand the car back in four years as it’s PCP, great stuff! I would recommend

I have just completed selling my lovely Mustang through J17 Brokerage service, i unfortunately lost my job due to the pandemic and needed to raise some money, i had had it advertised privately for 6 weeks and only got time wasters. J17 sold my car for me in just under 3 weeks, very impressed and i got the money back we agreed, i will sadly miss my Mustang but i am sure i will buy one again, most likely from J17. Great comms and nice people!

Don’t be fooled by the high end cars in the showroom PLEASE READ the reviews they don’t lie. I was asked to take down my previous scathing review on the back of Luke promising to resolve the outstanding issues that should have been sorted 5 weeks earlier by Umesh. Another big mistake, as once I deleted the negative feedback I was then ghosted again!!! I will try and keep this short at to the point. 1, If the car requires any work before buying it WALK AWAY because the promises to undertake the work before you take delivery are just lies, by Umesh. 2, If you have stupidly believed their LIES and take the car away and there is a problem, then after calling them once they WILL NEVER answer your call again, unless you ring straight back either on a different number or put 141 in front of the call and they answer straight away, tried this every time and it gets answered straight away, but you will be ghosted if you call on your usual number. 3, If you do the above and get through to Jamie on reception you WILL NEVER get put through and don’t bother leaving a message as they WILL NEVER call you back either. If she sends the owner an email asking him to contact you and copies you in, DON’T expect a response because the owner has your money and doesn’t bother responding. 4. DO NOT rely on them informing DVLA, they WILL NOT and like me, you will continue to be wasting the road tax on your part exchange whilst it’s for sale on their forecourt because you can’t get a refund as the car will remain in your name. The new keeper supplement from the V5 will not be given to you either so DO NOT leave until you have it as you WILL be ghosted afterwards. 5 weeks after the purchase I had to return in person to get them to do the transfers on line, a two minute job requiring you to continually chase and end up having no other choice but to turn up in person. 5. Be warned their HPI report DOES NOT include a millage check, mine had a millage discrepancy, which they refused to accept devalued my car. 6. Even worse, 5 weeks after I purchased the car for cash they still hadn’t paid off THEIR finance they took out to buy the car for their stock!!!! So MAKE SURE you do your own HPI before and after purchase as they CAN NOT be trusted to pay their own stocking finance off and if Umesh tells you it will be done as soon as you pay for the car and he will send confirmation, that is also a BLATANT LIE So in summary, the two salesmen I dealt with both made promises that were just blatant lies and the management/owner doesn’t care once he has your money. There is zero after sales service and if you do manage to get past being ghosting, then PLEASE DO NOT believe anything they say as it’s all lies. Oh and ask yourself how many people like me have removed their scathing reviews in exchange for getting an issue sorted? It’s the only way to get them to do anything, but in my case they still continued to ghost me. RUN AWAY and buy elsewhere, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

PLEASE PLEASE read the reviews, look at all the negative reviews , there are hundreds out there about this company (junction 17 cars) all saying the same thing. I like many others looked at the showroom, and the stock, and thought it was a very professional set up…how wrong we all were, after you have bought, just try to speak to anybody, there either not in today…or in a meeting, etc, and the promises to call you back, never happen. I feel so sorry for “Jamie” on reception, who has to fend off these calls, and the lies of the directors. Leoine never called me back once, Ian, never called me back either, and im talking about 20 calls over a 3 week period, I left an £8,000 deposit, that has taken me over 3 weeks to get back , the only person who even replied to me was Mollie from accounts, who did sort this for me, the directors should be ashamed of themselves, a company is only as good as its owners/staff. The reason for me asking for a refund was ( range rover had a defective sat nav screen) and they said it was too expensive for them to fix. So buy a car from them, and if/when you get a problem, good luck in talking to someone, or getting it fixed……you might as well buy from a private seller with no warranty or comeback, because that’s the level of aftercare you will receive here. Do your homework….i wish I had. (all that glitters is far from gold) Peoples reviews are there for a reason. Im more than happy to supply emails and messages to prove.

I purchased a lovely Vauxhall Mokka during the January 2021 lockdown. I paid the extended warranty which cost £499 as it was on offer (or so they told me). It was supposed to be valeted before delivery. On delivery and inspection, there was sweet wrappers under the backseat and dried crusty leaves where the spare wheel should be. complained to Jacob, they paid for the road tax as a gesture of good will. Then in July, the car developed a fault. Took to Thurlow Nunn and found a faulty clutch and flywheel costing £1575.38. Approached J17 and was told that as I had had the car 6 months they was not interested. Contacted Citizens Advice and followed their advice. J17 decided not to communicate, so ended up contacting the County Court to pursue a claim against them through the small claims court. They had until 9th October 2021 to respond, but again nothing. So this evening, I have requested a judgment against them. I have given them a one star as unable to leave a no star!!! A total shambles of a company, that has no respect for their customers. Avoid this car company at all costs!!!!

At absolute breaking point with this garage. Going to seek legal advice as well as informing Trading Standards. If I could give a minus rating, I would. We bought a Discovery Sport at the beginning of August. From the moment we drove the car away, customer service became non existent. Luke has treated us appallingly and Junction 17 should be totally embarrassed. I am presently calling hourly where I am told consistently that the people I want to speak to are always on the telephone. It is impossible to get past reception. The men are hiding behind these poor ladies having to deal with irate calls. I have called many many times in order to sort out the following:- 1. Spare set of keys 2. Paperwork which confirms what was actually carried out on the ‘interim service’. 3. ‘Service Needed’ light on dashboard. I was told by the receptionist Jamie, Luke and also the Manager Jamie that the key had be sent by recorded delivery. The dates of when this key was actually posted changed 3 times! Luke also stated he would message me the tracking number. This never materialised! I was promised by Luke on many occasions that he would email me the work that was carried out on the service. I have a text message trail to confirm this. The email never arrived. I also spoke to both Jamie (Manager) and Luke that the Diesel Exhaust Fluid Liquid light on the dashboard had lit up. Jamie (Manager) tried to persuade me that this light comes on every 100 miles or so and it had lit up because my husband had driven from Peterborough to Aldershot! Absolute nonsense! This was supposed to have been checked on the service and wasn’t. Luke confirmed this. I do believe that a service has not been carried out on our vehicle we purchased from Junction 17 as why would they not send the paperwork through? I am going to a TRUSTED local garage to confirm whether a service has been done. I’m sure the results will be a disturbing read. Jamie (Manager) also promised to find a local garage to switch off the Service Needed light. He never got back to me even though he stated that he knew our area well. I am very confused how Junction 17 even manage to run a business like this. DO NOT be fooled by the attractive and expensive cars on show. There are better, more reputable garages around and I only wish I had done our research a little more prudently before purchasing this vehicle from this company. FURTHER UPDATE We part exchanged our car with this garage and we have now received UNPAID TOLL CHARGE NOTICES 5 weeks after we traded it in totalling over £100! These unpaid toll fees are from Tyne Tunnels! Could this get any worse?

Paid to reserve a car. They did not respond to any means on communication, asked question about service history as Mercedes dealership has no record of service since new by email, dodgy owner clearly didn’t like answering questions so sold car to someone else. His poor receptionist was left to deal with an upset client telling me that I had asked for my fee to be refunded. Total lie. Shady owner couldn’t be bothered to talk to me. If this is what the pre purchase is like, imagine the after sale service!! Nasty man and business
