Went too have a look round pulled up in my car outside first thing a salesman said to me i hope you are not trading that thing in! Was with my brother and sister in-law at the time how rude was this remark. We found the salesman more like a bouncer than a car salesman. This was the last and only time we will step foot in this place.

Hello Mr D, I can only imagine that you have been to a different dealership and certainly not Junction 17 cars. we certainly do not have salesmen that resemble 'bouncers' and as we pride ourselves on customer care a comment as you described would be a dismissible offence. I am sorry but you are mistaken here.
I went to junction 17 Peterborough to see the 350z's they had on offer. We had to wait 5+ mins before anyone came over to talk to us and it was hard to tell who was staff and who wasn't. We had a look round at the cars they had but none of them were what I wanted, we were about to leave when we spoke to a guy who was really helpful - he showed us the cars they had over at Nottingham and we put a deposit down (assured that it was fully returnable if we didn't like the car) for them to bring it over to the Peterborough showroom. The next day we had a call to say that it had successfully been brought over and confirming our appointment. So far so good, I was happy with everything. We showed up for the appointment and had plenty of time to see the car and look at the paperwork. I've read some other reviews from women who said they felt hassled and pressured - I can honestly say i didn't feel this, but I knew exactly what i wanted and am well informed on the car so am able to hold my own in a haggle situation - though I can see that if you weren't as stubborn as me you might be sweet talked. Unfortunately the car was not worth the asking price, it was probably worth about half as much as they were asking: I pointed out a number of fairly significant faults and repairs that would need to be fixed before i would consider it to both the salesman and the manager and they agreed with every one of them. I was disappointed that the faults hadn't been fixed before they offered it to me - it seemed like a waste of time seeing the car in that condition, in my opinion a good garage would have fixed all the issues before sticking it on the forecourt unless they were hoping someone would buy it without noticing that it needed work. Despite that I would've taken the car had we been able to agree a price we were both happy with, but sadly we couldn't reach a bargain, after a civil chat discussing price we thanked them and left - the salesman assuring me the deposit would be back with me the next day (3 days after the original transfer). It took about 2 weeks and calling the garage about 4 times before i got the deposit back. In my opinion the cars I saw were overpriced - but I can't speak for their whole range - the salespeople were fine and I didn't feel pressured to buy or at a disadvantage for being female (but I was well informed and pretty stubborn and don't often feel pressured in these situations). I probably wouldn't consider them again if i were looking for a car.

Hello Karen, Firstly thank you for your feedback on your experience with us, and I apologise if you feel you did not have a pleasant one. With regards to waiting for 5+ minutes - as a car dealership we do not want to come across pushy at all and like our customers to have a good browse without feeling pressured and uncomfortable. After doing a survey in 2012 we discovered the majority of customers did like an open browse before being approached by our experienced sales people, so this is the direction we chose. With regards to the cosmetic repairs you requested on the vehicle - we happily agreed to rectify all of the concerns. The cars we sell are pre-owned, therefore sometimes depending on age/mileage, there may be some wear, however we do thoroughly prepare our cars both cosmetically and mechanically before the customer drives away. As well as agreeing to do the relevant repairs, the vehicle would have also gone through the workshop for a full pre delivery inspection and a full MOT ensuring the vehicle was 100% roadworthy - this is a new policy which was put in place in October 2015; this was one of few criteria’s we took on board to become Trading Standards Assured. I am sorry we could not reach an agreement in price - the vehicle was for sale at £8975.00 and you would not offer any more than £6000.00. I hope you can realise that a car of that price would certainly NOT have £3000.00 profit across it. If you could have offered a more realistic price I'm sure we would have negotiated a deal, but as we are the cheapest in the country on Autotrader we know how competitively priced our cars are. We had the car transferred from our Nottingham branch which cost transportation and fuel and we did not charge you for this. With regards to your deposit refund - yes a refund is processed after 3- 5 days but only after this request is signed for in accounts by a director of the company and sometimes this takes longer than a week. I would also like to add that also since October 2015 we have employed a Customer Service Manager - Kate whom deals with customer relations directly including feedback good and bad. Having this service has made our customer service extremely strong and thus tries to illuminate any experiences like what you have had. I apologise again for yourself not having the best experience, however I cannot apologise for our highly trained and experienced staff and their sales approach, because as I stated before this is customer driven. I bought a DB9 from Junction 17 well over 6 months ago. The car was amazing, a real head turner. The staff there are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately due to work commitments I have had to move abroad so I couldn't keep the car. Junction 17 Cars gave me the option of selling the car for me through their brokerage or buying it straight back off me. They did buy it and for top top money. Everything was dealt with there and then in their showroom (looking exquisite as ever) the money was transferred no problems and I had to say good bye to my super car. When I return to the UK I know I'll be back to buy my next super car from Junction 17.

i bought a BMW Z4 from this company (which may I add was a hard decision due to their huge selection of z4's) everybody at junction 17 cars was very helpful, the environment was very professional and friendly, I'm sure I will be coming back here to buy a family car sometime in the future! I have just driven home my lovely new Nissan 350Z. It's clear from their website that they specialise in 350s as they have loads in stock. I was spoilt for choice. They had 9 or 10 lined up together outside. I originally wanted a coupe but ended up buying a gorgeous cab. I was offered a coffee, a test drive and a great finance package with Motonovo. I had a very easy and pleasant experience at Junction 17 cars and would highly recommend them.

My overall experience of junction 17 cars was excellent. My husband and I were able to browse their big selection of stunning cars without being hassled and we even got a lovely yummy cup of coffee. We were after a weekend car as a treat, they had such a big selection of prestige cars that we were spoilt for choice. We test drove a Porsche, a Mercedes and a Bentley before deciding (the Bentley was the one). We had lovely salesman Tim who went through part exchange finance and warranty he wasn't pushy at all, in fact all the staff were so friendly. I would be completely happy to personally recommend junction 17 cars to anyone. We certainly found our dream car!

Overpriced cars from Junction 17 Cars Peterborough, I found them to be very pushy and convincing. Sales manager has no bottle to come and face you when you try to sell the car back to them and question the £6500 drop it has 'depreciated' in 9 months of ownership. If you like being ripped off by vain car sales men who have no honesty, then go and buy a car from them. The fact they walked off whilst I was talking to them shows how much they realise they have been caught out. £1500 offer more was made within seconds after strongly stating disappointment and however due to being disgusted I refused to let them make more profit on my car and settled for a lot less elsewhere for the principal. I trusted these people being in the performance car business and I feel they took advantage.

Sorry to hear your experience with us was not a happy one. With regards to your cars valuation, we use 'Cap' as a guide, along with always beating 'webuyanycar' quotations. We also beat any part exchange price. I can only apologise for your experience, however I am sure that if we had have come to an agreement both parties would have been happy. We hope you have managed to find the right car for yourself and wish you all the best in the future.
I wouldn't recommend Junction 17 Cars in Peterborough to anyone and would urge everyone not to go near them. I brought a BMW for my daughter and they said it had full service history, however this was not the case. The car the car wasn't even roadworthy in my opinion, after countless phone calls they just ignore me, they are heartless, all they do is take your money and do not care.

With regards to your comment about feeling the car was 'unroadworthy', I can assure you that every car goes through a full pre delivery inspection in our workshop prior to being handed over to the customer, as we are Trading Standards Approved.
