Absolute conman. Purchased a car and 2 minutes down the road engine management light came on so went straight back and asked for a full refund as advertised 14 day gaurentee. He refused and said there was nothing wrong with the car. I got DVSA involved as I had suspicion it was a fake mot. The car failed on quite a lot of things The guy went by the name of Luke but the only person registered with companies House is rashad. This company are total fraudsters do not buy anything from them.

Hi Christian The address was 438 lees hall road, Dewsbury WF12. Since I sent him a recorded letter of intent of court and so many others by looks of it he has changed his registered address to 1 in London. Probably trying to throw people off. He wants stopping. Hope this helps Regards Ricky
These are trading on Auto Trader as Revolution Cars sent me a car nothing like the pic I got delivery driver to sign a statement as to the condition of the car no injectors they’re trading from a false address so it’s fraud and the Trading Standards are getting in touch with the police, this conman Mat is going under different names please make sure not to deal with these it’s the same scenario looks like with everyone these people need to be stopped and believe me they will be, I’ve been in touch with RIP off Britain let’s get these stopped.

Just had the same experience bought off car revolution on auto trader had massive row with him as. Car was substandard and he was refusing the 14 day money back guarantee , all adverts disappeared of auto trader but have now found all the cars on eBay under a different trader name and my car is amongst them 😡 has anybody actually got their money back of him
My son and his grandad went to look at a car at republic autos and really liked it.£5350 Mat sent me a message telling me what account to send the money to 10 mins after sending it he phoned saying his bank had been blocked and I will get the money back could I pay now to a different account . My sons grandad paid it. So they have have had the money twice . Over 10.000 for a car not worth 4000. Mat is saying they never had the money. I have reported to action fraud but I’m not holding my breath.

I am currently taking this person to the small claims court, I have evidence he is lying about me in this case, I have messages from him that state the opposite of what he saying! Please please don’t let this go, court is the way to go

I too am having a nightmare with 'Adam' at Republic after buying an Astra in August with loads of problems. I complained within 12 hours of receiving the car and haven't got anywhere. When I have followed official procedures, he refuses to accept letters sent by recorded delivery. Taking him to court feels like the only option, but I doubt that will get me anywhere either. It seems he has a long history of conning honest buyers and keeps trading under different names. I don't know how he can be allowed to keep getting away with it.

I think this is the guy that’s ripped me off putting on Autotrader as Car Revolution ripped me of with a car £2995 absolutely wrecked I’ve reported it to Auto trader can I ask does he speak with a Brummy accent

Hi do you have his full name as he wouldn’t give me it after he took my money, I kept asking to speak to his boss as he said he ran it for Car Revolution which seems a massive lie, he’s putting false addresses, I’ve reported him to Auto Trader who monitor calls and txts he called himself Matt and from what I’ve seen he calls himself Adam and now he’s chafed it again to Luke he’s got a Birmingham accent so any information I can get on this guy to stop him doing it to others would be a great help. I’ve been in touch with rip off Britain and I’m sending details to Watchdog this man needs to be stopped now before he takes someone for a lot of money.

Hi this guy is a sole trader but a LTD company so he is protected when he gets taken to court. He has recently changed the registered address of Republic auto to an address in London after I sent him recorded letters for intended court . The .an is a conman and rip off merchant that makes a living from trysting people. Look him up on companies House . Hope this helps

I paid a deposit on a car that was promised in writing that I would get back if I didn’t like the car, when I got there, the car was damaged. I said I wanted my deposit back and he refused saying I offered to pay for the damage. I work in vehicle sales so know how it works. I am now currently going through the small claims to get my £1000 back. Matt and Adam are the same person. The court papers have been signed by R.Wilson who was never involved. I recently bought a 2013 polo from the dealership under the name of ‘car city’ at first this place seemed dodgy as it was called republic autos on motors.co.uk and when we arrived to look at the car it was at this place called car city? The car seemed immaculate in photos and upon inspection he had lied about a few things such as no cruise control actually on the car that was stated online, in the end I was desperate for a car so I ended up buying it. He seemed very sketchy and demanded a deposit straight away, when the car was delivered we were promised a full tank of fuel which he didn’t give and a full valet which upon arrival the car was dirty. It also had somehow passed a recent mot with no front headlights in function? Spark plugs also now need changing, there was a leak in my tyre pressure valve which he claimed there was nothing wrong with, the alloys were not done professionally and there has been a few other minor things I’ve had to have done for the car which should have been done already for the price I paid!!
This company have changed their name to Republic Autos I have recently been ripped off by these I bought a car that was an absolute state finance company are dealing with the return of the cat

Not a reputable business, do not buy from them, do NOT give a deposit without asking for Terms and Conditions beforehand. Check company history, also go by Auto City and Intercity. Vehicle NOT at all as described

A friend had a similar issue with them recently only they now seem to be hiding behind the name "Auto City" (or auto-city) using images of cars with "Intercity" on the registration plate. It will take a bit of time but the more people that report them/him the more chance justice can be made and then no one else will lose their time, energy and money like we all have.
I decided to buy a car for my wife and was recommended this dealer by someone who previously bought a car . All in all I am very pleased , car was delivered to me a day later than agreed but my wife was over the moon. Thankyou junction city for putting a smile on my wife’s face and selling me a car that I am more than happy with. Will definitely be recommending you to family and friends .
