I bought a vauxhall astra and had it less than 3 months as the gearbox had gone on it. Keith Gibbs Motor Company advised it was due to impact and wasn't under warranty. Took it to an independent garage who advised that the planetary gears had worn out and was a fault with the car and nothing to do with any impact. Very poor customer care and would not honor his warranty. The warranty policy is not worth the paper written on. Very poor after care service - once he has your money he doesn't want to know.
