I had an extremely disappointing experience with Parkway, Kettering. I recently bought a vehicle from them, upon getting the vehicle home and cleaning/polishing it I noticed a dent in the roof lining. This wasn't immediately obvious in the lighting conditions I test drove the vehicle in or with the lack of gloss. I also found there to be no windscreen fluid in the washer bottle. I topped the screen wash up only to find the washers did not work. I contacted Parkway to alert them to the issues and initially they were adamant the dent wasn't present on the vehicle when it was sold. I looked back at all of the videos/photos that had been sent to me prior to the test drive and on the video the dent could be seen if you were looking for it, again not immediately obvious from the angles/lighting condition the video was taken in. When confronted with the screenshots I took they conceded that the dent might have been present but I signed the document stating I was happy with the vehicle, which whilst true, the dent was not noted at the dealership or pointed out to me. For the value of car that I purchased you absolutely don't expect this sort of damage, stone chips/minor scratches - yes, large roof dents - no. After taking the vehicle to a number of places I fortunately found a skilled PDR technician who thankfully pulled it out but noted that when the vehicle was cleaned at the dealership there is no way they wouldn't have seen the roof dent. To Parkways credit they did pay for the repair of the windscreen washers but the vehicle should obviously not have been sold with non functioning windscreen wipers which is an automatic MOT failure. The vehicle also didn't come with a second key, I was told that they hadn't had time to sort one out due to when they came into possession of the vehicle. When I approached Hyundai to obtain the second key I was told that one had been ordered by Parkway and had been sitting with them for 3 months! For prospective buyers I would avoid, they were not up front about the roof dent, the windscreen wipers were non operational and stated they "hadn't had time" to sort out a second key which didn't appear to be the case when I contacted Hyundai.

Extremely Poor Experience – Don’t Be Fooled by the Online Apologies Very disappointed with my experience at Parkway Volkswagen. The car I collected was nothing like what was promised. There were paint chips that were supposed to be fixed, swirl marks and scratches all over the bodywork, dog hair left inside the car, and mud under all the wheel arches — completely unacceptable from a main dealer. On top of that, the sales staff were arrogant and dismissive, with a cocky attitude that made it clear they were more interested in closing a sale than providing any genuine customer service. When I raised these issues, I was told over the phone — very clearly — that once the car is driven away, there’s nothing they can do. No apology, no effort to help, just a flat-out refusal to take responsibility. Now I’m seeing their online replies to negative reviews acting “very sorry” and pretending they want to resolve things. That’s not just two-faced — it’s dishonest. If Parkway Volkswagen truly cared, they would’ve handled it properly from the beginning, not just when it became public. Avoid if you want any kind of real aftercare or integrity from your dealer.

Was after a vw Tiguan for a while and decided to go into the vw branch in Kettering. Was lucky enough to be greeted by Jack Norn who was totally first class and he found the exact model I was looking for. I am one very happy customer and cannot recommend Jack high enough, I will be definitely using vw Kettering from now on . Thanks again Jack A*****

Perfect blend of new car , Part Ex and Great all round service. I loved the fact that i could make an enquiry on the Saturday, Test Drive and Purchase, plus part exchange on the Sunday. Then pick up Twenty Four hours later. Many Thanks to Harry for making this happen for me . Plus the treatment i received as an older person.. PERFECT.. 5 STAR RATING. Just awful 21 days to replace a battery absolute jokers Avoid at all costs
After speaking with Helen on the phone outlying my requirements 2 ltr diesel ect booked an appointment for my partner to go all was fine apparently sorted finance ect signed to them receive a call saying they ticked the wrong box and know one noticed that it was petrol 1.5 not what we required and that these things happen now I’m pretty sure any sales person should know the difference between a petrol and diesel absolute shower of a company shocking
What a terrible experience! My daughter recently purchased a VW T-ROC and part-exchanged her SEAT Ibiza. The dealership took advantage of a young woman, with little experience of buying a car from a main dealer. After a week of owning the car, I discovered that they had sold her part-exchange for £4000 more than they had given her for it. They persuaded her to fully MOT her part-exchange, which cost a further £300 out of her own pocket, so they didn't have to do it. Furthermore the car they had sold her was overpriced by a fair margin. Their sales tactics were one of manipulation. I tried to contact the Sales Manager, who initially ignored my calls. When I did finally speak to her (after 4.5 hours of persisting!) she basically said there was nothing they would do. I have escalated my complaint to VW UK, the Financial Services Ombudsman and the Financial Conduct Authority, to let them know that this dealership is ripping people off.
I came to the Kettering vw dealership, looking for my first car, I was greeted by a lovely women called Freya Williams who helped me out with all the paperwork and helped me get through each step to get my car helped me understand everything so I didn’t get confused, as it’s all new to me. She took out her own time to make me a cute starter pack and I couldn’t be more thankful for such a wonderful service. If I could recommend anyone to be your adviser it would honestly be her. 10/10 ☺️☺️

The manager was not helpful ,was lying ,they did a check up for my car and without my permission they vw took my gear box out, spilt oil everywhere, they didn't put back in place , they've only apologies for what happened . Avoid , taking a lot of money, very hungry! No respect for them. Shame!

Superb and friendly assistance from Christian. The only niggle would be for the rep to tell the prospective purchaser of the time scale involved with the purchase of a motor from them. Twice I turned up (after getting a lift) with the intentions of taking the van home with me, but alas, no,not to be. I eventually got the docs fore my new van and am well happy. I even got a new van for the night while things were sorted. Fuck me, but that thing flew, flew like an eagle. Yonny.
