He has a genuine manner and zero-pressure sales ‘technique’ which is almost disconcerting! The car [Peugeot 307 diesel] needed an air-con condenser, alternator and tyres before we bought it and these were all done within the asking price-including an extra number plate for a trailer, but later after driving it home we were dismayed at the poor engine performance: back to Kevin who without quibble or charge arranged for it to be sorted with his helpful mechanic Keith, about 3 weeks after purchase. I purchsed a Nissa Diahatsu terioz. I found kevin helpfull and genuine, dont seem to get that these days. So impressed with the car the girlfriend loves it and we would trade again with kevin. To be honest when I was collecting the car he even picked me up from the railway station. Very good, easy business, not pushy, would recommend.
I wanted to buy a Vauxhall Astra automatic. Kevin Adey had one advertised for sale. One problem. I live in Portsmouth and his car dealership is in Yorkshire. I rang Kevin about the car on the Thursday. It sounded great. I rang Flybe and booked a flight the next day, from Southampton to Leeds Bradford Airport. As promised, Kevin met me at the airport. We drove to his car dealership and there was the Astra. I used to work for a Vauxhall dealership years ago and I know those cars inside out. I spent a long time checking the car over and it was completely as Kevin had described it in his advert, it was "stunning". I went on a long test drive and could not fault the car. Kevin had already said that even if I did not buy the car, he would still give me a lift back to the airport (that's customer service for you). Back at the dealership, Kevin gave me a really good deal on the car. We agreed a price and it was decided that I would fly up again at the beginning of the next month to collect the car and drive it home. Kevin said in the meantime he would get a new MOT carried out on the car. We were unsure whether the fuel filter had been changed and the rear wiper blade was noisy. Kevin didn't hesitate and said that both items would be renewed. Kevin then drove me back to the airport in the Astra itself to give me yet another run in the car and I caught my flight home. Two weeks later, I caught a one way flight from Southampton to Leeds. Kevin again met me at the airport. He drove me to his dealership to collect the car. (bare in mind this was a Saturday). There was the car, ready and waiting. Kevin kindly helped me to tax the car on line and then I was ready to go. I now had a 260 mile drive home to Portsmouth!! How would the car behave? Would it break down? I filled the car with fuel at a local filling station and set off home. I had two stops for refreshment on the way back. Did the car miss a beat? No! Did it break down? No. Did it drive absolutely perfectly? Yes!! I arrived home with it. Tired, but very pleased with my new purchase. Would I buy another car from Kevin Adey? Most certainly, yes, and the distance between us would not put me off! He is a thoroughly honest guy and did not mis-describe the condition of the Astra I bought from him. Even though the distance between us is so great, a week after I got the car, Kevin rang me to make sure that all was well with it. I would thoroughly recommend Kevin Adey Car Sales. I can only relate to you my own experience of buying a car from him. Good old fashioned customer service is hard to find nowadays, but Kevin has it in abundance and knows how to give it. I bought my first car (Honda Jazz) from Kevin Adey in September and could’t be happier with the service I received. Kevin was very polite, spent time explaining and showing us different cars and gave us time to think, considering it was the weekend! After driving the car for a week or so I was not getting on with the execrator pedal as it was a bit loose and it was easy to stall the car. I called Kevin and he was very helful about solving the problem. He organised for me to take the car to a mechanic and the problem was solved. I’m very pleased with my car now and had no problems since. I would highly recomend Kevin Adey Car Sales to anyone who is looking for a non pushy, professional and genuine service.

I had been looking for a new car for some time and after finding Kevin Adey on Autotrader, I will 100% definitely be going back in future. The car is fantastic, even better than I could have hoped for and the service I got was just as good, could not have met a more honest and fair car dealer, I went to view the car on Sunday and bought it the same day I was that impressed by it. I bought my Ford Focus from Kevin in May. Kevin has to be the BEST in the business. He is honest, caring and trustworthy. He NEVER pressures a person to buy a car from him. I arranged to pick up my car on a certain day and the car had been fully serviced and a full MOT given. After a few days the car developed a water leak.
