In February I bought a VW Golf, for me it was a lot of money. I thought I was buying a car from a professional dealer. I am a new driver so I decided to buy a car from a good source, but that did not happen. At first everyone was nice, everything was perfect, a short test drive did not show any flaws. After a short thought I decided to buy my Golf, which was my dream. The first disappointment after driving 30 miles, a message appeared on the screen that the tire pressure was incorrect (a damaged valve), on the way my feet froze - it turned out that the heating did not work, and to this day I have been bearing the costs of flushing the cooling system (of course, the seller covered the costs of replacing the Matrix, for which I am grateful) then a month after the purchase I discovered a lake in my trunk with the spare wheel, it was a shock.. (the windows were steaming up despite the good weather and I started looking for the cause, the passenger seats were wet from the bottom, if I had not checked I would have probably had mushroom farms) I was completely devastated, disappointed and desperate, especially since I was a new driver and I could not enjoy my dream... I do not know who works there, it seems to me that the mechanics have no knowledge about cars, I have an assumption that their test only consists of making the car drive (3 months after the purchase the pump supporting the heating was repaired under warranty, the photo showed that it was rusty and cracked, how is it possible that the mechanics at this dealer doesn't see such basic mistakes?) These are just the basic things I mentioned, they answer the phone immediately but only if you intend to buy a car, later after the purchase it borders on a miracle that someone will answer your phone, it is difficult to get communication. I will never buy from any car dealer again. If you want to buy a car here I advise against it and do not recommend it!!! And if you do buy, take a decent mechanic with experience with you. I learned a lesson that my Dream ended in a nightmare and stress. Speaking of guarantees, you have to look for a garage yourself, recommended garages do not want to repair cars under warranty

RUSTY AND CRACKED lol yep sounds about right. They are a proper bunch of cowboys this lot.
I have just bought a car from Keywise after a friend recommended them, the service was very good we found the perfect car. The man was very knowledgeable and helped us with everything that we needed. We would definately come again and would recommend.

A friend then ?. Anyway let us know how the second part of August is won't you lol 😆. I hope you crawled underneath the car and had a good look 😉
Bought a 2013 red zafira from these last October. 2023. We 3 months warranty Now march 2024. Oil cooler gone bad.£200 for repair ,paid £5.900 for it..will not buy from these no more.people be aware.
Bought a Nissan Quashqui Auto in Nov 2022. Was told it had just had a new gearbox put in and it was bullet proof and could be driven as hard as it could. Happy days! Needed to get the car quickly as we were going holiday in a week. Took it for a test drive, seemed a bit underpowered but it felt like a nice car. So we parted with a hard earned 11 grand for it. . Immediately the gearbox was faulty. When I went up a steep hill on the dual carriageway.to Bristol airport a few days after the gears didn't change down. It stayed in the highest gear. My speed suddenly dropped about 30mph and I had to quickly signal left and move into the left hand lane, It was very dangerous. Took the car back it, told them exactly what the problem was. Paid for a taxi home then another taxi back to collect. They said they tested it and found no fault. Shortly afterwards I went up Telegraph hill and had exactly the same dangerous problem. When I questioned them about it they replied "we can only test it in a limited way!" Well that was helpful wasn't it . Eventually took it back two months later after problems got worse and worse and they had the car resent to the gearbox specialist for a rework, When we got the car back I asked if they could test it as we've had problems with it before on point of sale. They said "no" the gearbox place were professionals. When I tried to question why they aren't testing it as it was messed up before I got a stern lecture from Jerry, the aftersales guy. "Look, you're not perfect" "I'm not perfect". "They are not perfect". What the heck? Couldn't wait to get the keys and get out of there fast enough, So I took the car and had to hope for the best. Wasn't long before we had another fault on the gearbox. Went back to Keywise and we were told simply to told to get lost and to take it back directly the gearbox specialists. Had a week without the car, causing masses of inconvenience. No courtesy car was allowed anymore.. Because it was after three months warranty period of whatever it was. So took it back to the gearbox specialists and luckily they did the latest fix for free as a goodwill gesture. Then in early Jan 2024 the gearbox completely went again and we now have a repair bill for the best part of 2 grand. Which actually the gearbox specialists are doing us a favour with because the re-work should actually be 4.5 grand,. They are "only" charging 2 grand because we are not too far out of warranty and our milage was low. Thank goodness it is only the price of one holiday, not two holidays. Puzzled by the fact we were having so many problems with a "new" gear box, we spoke to the gearbox specialists and that the car we bought in 2022 had a reconditioned gear box. We recently found out that the "new" gearbox was actually a reconditioned gearbox. Probably the same one as when the car was made in 2013. Who knows. My wife and I were pretty livid about this and initially had a very positive conversation with Kyle, their sales manager, (found his E-mail on here). He gave us the hope that it would be positive outcome for us. The next day he sends us an E-mail saying they can't do anything for us, despite the extreme amount of problems we've had. This was because they view a Reconditioned gear box as a New Gear Box. Well Kyle, if it Reconditioned gear box is "as a new gear box," why has broken down multiple times in the last 18 months? It's clearly not a new gearbox is it? I'm waiting back for an explanation on this, as if you are happy to sell cars with dangerous faults. Please don't treat other people in the same way as us,
No pushy sales and very helpful staff. The whole process was easy from start to finish. I’ve had no issue with the car and the team were help with any questions I had after the sale.

Big Pete in response to 1 star for Kyle b
Did they cover you on youre 3 month warranty which is generous in all fairness, 5 star service for me as the whole rear end suffered from Scottish rust and now I have a car that is scrap. They had me covered 🤣
What can I say other than to urge people NOT TO BUY FROM KEYWISE CARS, I unfortunately had the experience of buying from these monkeys and upon test drive of my VXR low speed rumble only to be told ah we will look at that for you. Drove the car upon collection a week later guess what..... rumble still there and was told that this is normal hmmmmmm ok!! not an expert here but took there word for it. few days later coolant leak and my air con didn't work and this noise was getting louder, OK so they fixed the air con and coolant leak and another test drive to show my concerns with the mechanic of the noise, I am sure the guy was deaf he didn't seem to hear it. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED FEW MONTHS LATER?????? GEARBOX BLEW UP, it was the 1st and second motion shaft bearings so when I confronted the slimy manager, I was told that he was not willing to help me because I complained to the finance company about the interest rate I was charged, AGAIN something which should have been made clear to me upon collection but all I got was click here click here and your done where was my adequate explanation of my agreement set out my the FCA wasn't provided one was I!! All I can say to everyone who is looking to buy a car, DONT BUY FROM THESE IDIOTS!! READ THE REVIEWS, THAT TELLS THE STORY (Keywise cars are also known for inputting FALSE REVIEWS)!!! !FACT
Keywise Cars Ltd from Keywise Cars Ltd in response to bunch of lying scammers AVOID
Hi Mr W, Thank you for taking time to review us. From memory this being the 09 reg VXR. I think we can both agree that this is incorrect and this sale was from 2016. The end decision was in fact from the finance company with the rejection of the complaint. This was due to the miles you covered in the car and the time you had been in possession of the car. All of our customers opting for finance are given ample time to make an informed decision, We have no control over how the finance companies score a customer. We have always taken FCA regulations seriously and follow legislations in line with the FCA handbook. We go further with this and assure the staff are SAF trained. I know this was not the outcome you wanted at the time and sorry again for that. We wish you the best with the future Keywise Cars Ltd
Having purchased a car from Keywise Cars Ltd, the first time of driving the car 2 days later the head gasket went, leaving me stranded on the A30 in the early hours of the morning. Car returned, no offers of looking at any others & eventually (2 weeks down the line) after threat of the relevant ombudsman all money returned, however due to where I live it meant I had to spend extra days off work as I missed my flight home & also searching for a replacement vehicle elsewhere, requested some kind of compensation from them regarding this & the fact that the car had a full tank of fuel & nothing, no response to any correspondence, absolutely disgusted at the aftersales service, wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I am disgusted the way I was lied to by Keywise cars, I bought off of them in 2021 a Nissan Juke 2015 diesel within two weeks the turbo blew up in a big amount of smoke, I had the turbo replaced under warranty, but when I picked up the repaired car I asked the salesman about particulate filter, because of how much oil had passed through it, and was reassured they had washed it out, it was the thing to do?? I was told. Imagine I put the car in for its yearly MOT and it failed on emissions due to a blocked particulate filter costing over £500 pounds, and you guessed it when I told the mechanic what they had said about washing out the filter he just laughed, so I phoned up Nissan Exeter only to be told they always advise changing the particulate filter when the turbo blows, So here I am today £500 pounds poorer, I have sent Keywise Cars at least four complaints using there complaints page and not one answer has been received, I am expecting I am gonna take a drive up there soon, I would think long and hard about buying a car off of them
